- Welcome everyone! Just recently I moved into my first home. Buying a house was always at the top of my to do list, from an early age. And so my spending was always influenced by this dream of buying a house. In this video I run through some examples of where you could save money, if you aren't already. These are just a few areas, but there are plenty of other ways to cut down on your expenditure; the purpose of this video is to encourage you to change the way you go about saving/ spending your money if your goal is to buy a house in the coming years.

This is great wow. Congrats! I just graduated a few months ago opened a help to buy in 2nd year cause we were told to cause it was closing didn’t really know what it meant but only had £5 a month going in. The lifetime isa sounds better cause 2.5K a year is too small I think to save
I’m trying to get more serious with saving now that I’m soon starting my new job. I luckily live at home too so I’m hoping to save a lot a month. I have to shop around to get a cheaper phone bill (currently £16), car insurance and petrol which will be hard I think. Thanks for these ideas. Fixed bills definitely have to be lower for me. I think what will be difficult in my saving journey is saying no to friends to go out and travel…
I’m also looking into stocks and shares isa for long term saving
Well done! I'm almost twice as old as you and I've done so many financial mistakes in my life. Trying to fix my situation now 😊
Thanks man, well the best time to start working on your financial situation is always NOW so fair play to you!
