- Although India made history with its Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission, becoming the first country to achieve a soft landing on the Moon's unexplored South Pole, it wasn't the only thing to take off. A surge of misinformation surrounding the mission has also surged since the initial landing, with false imagery circulating across the internet. Although we often quarrel with India 😆, as a Chinese, I respect the fair facts and recognize that India has made a lot of achievements in science and technology. There is no need to question this moon landing, it can be detected by space station and satellite, India did send spacecraft to the moon, the International Space Station and Chinese space station did not question, which is proof.😅
And it's a good thing for humanity, one more country exploring space, congratulations to India.

News sources did a bad job at clarifying that it was indeed an animated representation of the landing. The first time I watched it, I audibly laughed at how fake it looked, so I had to do some digging to discover the reason why.

But ISRO rovers' wheels have Indias emblems and Isro logo which will get imprinted. But ISRO has not actually taken a picture of those imprints on moons surface so far.

It's not based on French rocket. It was a collaborative effort of scientists of both the countries to develop Viking or Vikas engine. It was a collaboration not charity by the French people.

Great reporting there. That persone shared the imprint sample photograph on X and the news channel thought its a footage from moon! the reality is those imprints are on the tires of the rover and just because isro did not release any close shots of the tracks on the moon, doesn't mean they are not there. any one with common sense would know that. you guys are on next level 😅

That image was representation and it was published even before Chandrayaan landed on the moon. To let viewers see what the Rover will leave behind on moons surface.

So about the, pragyan rover leaving the indian national symbol on the moon is true. The symbol of ISRO and India is imprented on Pragyan landers wheels, and when it will move on the moon surface, it will leave a imprint of thos, and it will remain like that for all of eternity, until any external force is applied. ISRO official page shared tha page to give a perspective of what it will look like on moon, since we dont have photographers who would take candid shots of the imprints, thus ISRO gave a reference.
Please give full information about the thing you are speaking about.
