Whats the difference other than reel size? More drag and less gearing?
You can still get them all in various gear ratio’s but yes it’s mainly the actual size of the reel from the larger spool. The 400 is a BIG REEL

I had the same problem on the dark sleeper on a small hump at Guntersville so I put a gopro on the hump and came back a little while made the same cast and the fish were just pinning the bait to the bottom with their nose. Wish I still had the video it was crazy.

I believe they are both 6th sense rods. One is for sure
The go to is rated for up to 3/4oz although I’ve pushed the limit plenty of times with my rods 😅 just at your own discretion haha
I have that issue in the winter too, LMB's short striking my lure. I'll get 20 bites and catch only 5-9 of them!

Without bias because of working with Googan, how's the feel and sensitivity of the gold googan rods, I'm thinking of buying 1. I normally get the BassX rods and like them but the gold is sic lookin doe
Honestly something in the range of 7 and a half feet and heavy rating has been the most used rods in my lineup. Just from using that 3/4oz dark sleeper I can tell ya it’s real sensitive and I was feeling every little bit of cover down there
