Constructive Criticism: splice errata into the video at the point it’s useful, it doesn’t matter how jarring it is. One might forget that there’s errata at the end of the video, and actually not unplug thoughts wires. And that’s presuming they watched it once first, I think you can put a pop up in the video via CZcams to jump to the correction part. You would be surprised how tunnel visioned someone can get doing this for the first time and following every step of yours like gospel. And ripping the wires off or something. With great power comes great responsibility.
Long time no see bruh.. loved your contents about this specific bike, as it is very rare to see content about it anywhere else... Usually short cuts... Watching love video like yours about xv is very very content. I like the aprilia xv, as it is few of the enduro bikes, or supermoto, that has twin engine...
To start off the bike was running perfect. Started great idled great and had plenty of power. I ended up washing the bike one day and that’s when everything went south.I tried going for a ride the bike started misfiring once you hit 8000rpm. There was almost no Power in midrange and top end.the bike would just misfire. I’ve checked plugs and my rear plug looks white so I’m assuming it’s getting no fuel to the rear cylinder. I also changed spark plug caps I’ve tried using another fuel pump thinking maybe not enough fuel pressure. Used air compressor to blow out all fuses and connectors. But still having same results. My next theory is to check ignition coils, injectors, crank sensors.
Not sure, you can just search for batteries to fit it on partzilla or bikebandit? I just ordered mine on fortnine (canadian). Af1 has yuasa and antigravity under the sxv tab
@@foredore Thanks! I'll grab a prt# off AF1. Or do something crazy like Google it 🤣 I've got a commercial account with Partzilla, but they won't let you search by Aprilia, just the major Japanese bikes 🤷♂️
Whenever you do anything with your bikes, pls don’t hesitate to make it an in-depth video. I just hope you enjoy teaching.
I've always enjoyed teaching!

Good video. I was at the point of actually dropping the engine out when I searched and found your video. Unfortunately that part didnt get filmed.😱
very informative vid 👍
We need more how to videos!!!
Soon as I can!
I can’t agree more. And I can’t stress how much. I spent way to long thinking of how to stress it. But this will have to do. Keep it up.
Currently having a problem with one of my sxvs was wondering if I could get your opinion on it.

Where did you get the hose kit for the coolant lines? Did you just cut it from raw hoses?
No samco makes them for the sxv. I bought them on af1
@@foredore Thankyou! I just put in an order for a bunch of bits, I'll see if I can add this.
Do you have a prt# for the lithium ion battery you use on these? Mine needs new battery and figured I'd pony up for a legit replacement.
