Totally agree with you. The scene is so smoothing and the way it has been executed, really touches our heart. One can understand this scene deeply who have gone through such experience.
In my opinion that's not true because Hogwarts will always be home to Harry Potter but I feel like the friends and the family that he has in his life have been more of a home to him then he ever did when he lived with his aunt and uncle. But in the end his aunt learn to finally make peace with him and eventually his uncle did the same but in all the years that he has lived with them even his own cousin knew he was never a waste of space. So when it came to family and friends and making peace with his relatives it makes perfect sense that Hogwarts definitely changed him into becoming a better person and he's always been a better person it's just most people had to open their eyes to see it.
I dont know what kills me more, the fact dumbledore died, the fact that fawkes just disappeared of the storyline because his master died or the fact that harry said that very line which i love so much that hogwarts is so beautiful and you so you can see that beautiful bird flying with this beautiful work of soundtrack. My favorite thing about this is that for a movie so dark and morbid with a fading sense of hope, it ends on such a quiet and beautiful moment with the trio
This is the best ending in the series, hands down. It really is such an emotionally profound, potent and masterful scene. Combined with the beautifully melancholic and nostalgic music, this ending means the world to me.
This scene and Ginny comforting Harry is such a beautiful wholesome dynamic. The four of them love each other deeply but each in a different way to each other.
Ron and Ginny are obviously siblings, but everyone sees that Harry and Hermoine share the same sibling-type of love towards each other, even though they’re not related until the end of DH2 (Harry and Hermoine become in-laws by marriage). Hermoine knows Harry has feelings for Ginny, and the fact that she tells him that Ron’s okay with Harry dating Ginny proves that Hermoine knows Ron loves Harry like a brother, but she also warns Harry to not kiss Ginny so much around Ron because Hermoine knows that Harry and Ginny’s kissing would disgust Ron. It wasn’t until Ron and Lavender kissed that Harry knew Hermoine had feelings for Ron, and he went down to comfort Hermoine. Plus, Hermoine was dropping obvious hints that she loves Ron in this movie, yet Ron didn’t understand any of those hints, instead telling Hermoine that she has a butter-beer mustache on her upper lip.
Absolutely. If I had to pick out one thing that I wish was done differently in the HP films, it's that Ron was utilized more. He's slowly tossed to the back burner in the later films.
I like how hermione always reminds harry that he doesn't have to do anything alone he's got his friends & I'm glad that ron & hermione always had Harry's back whenever it comes to something dangerous
There is a corner in each one's of our heart that gets revisited after watching this scene with bundle of feelings that we hide from the outside world..❤️
I remember seeing this when it first came out in the theater as a cynical almost-fifteen-year-old and thinking, "Great. Why does it have to end with a final shot of the lake...again?!" But now it's moving, so moving...
The song of Fanny flying away from the castle forever now that her master is dead is something that always breaks my heart. Also wonderful is the scene of the trio, which we see together in peace for the last time, with the panorama of Hogwarts, which will always be their real home ❤️
I lose it every fucking time when he says that he never just truly stopped to see how beautiful the school and everything he’d found there in light of his mentors death and the music kicks in with that view of the scenery surrounding the castle...I just can’t NOT cry. It just resonates so powerfully with me as I’m sure it does with anyone else who has experienced great loss in their life and it makes them appreciate the beauty that’s been around them all along on a whole other level.
When I saw this in the movies, I thought back to the Shawshank redemption and "Some birds aren't meant to be caged their feathers are just too bright"...
Oh, I hate this scene so much. Book Ron was right there with Harry telling him that he will not let Harry go alone and Hermione was like 'let's do this' and Harry was like 'thanks, you two😥' And the movie Ron is just sitting in the background listening to Hermione and Harry.
In the book Ron was the FIRST one to said he'd be there for Harry, saying "we'll be there Harry. At your aunt and uncles, and everywhere after" and THEN Hermione agrees, saying "we could have turned back a while ago if we wanted to". The point is that they're BOTH there for him, and Ron ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT HARRY, unlike whatever this scene is trying to do. It makes me so sad :(
When I read the books for the first time, I couldn't believe that dumbledore was dead. I thought that fawkes will save hid although he was al a few days dead....

This is the best ending in the series, hands down. It really is such an emotionally profound, potent and masterful scene. Combined with the beautifully melancholic and nostalgic music, this ending means the world to me.
*"You need us, Harry."*
*^Harry Potter in a Nutshell...*
Ofc
As it should be
90% of the time, Harry doesn't have to go into the battlefield on his own, because both Hermione & Ron are there to have his back.
Maybe it’s just me, but Fawkes’ cry at the end, as he’s flying away from Hogwarts forever, is the saddest, most mournful sound in the world.
Came here just for this comment. I just watched it at that part killed me
Not just you, it literally brings me to tears
2:43 it will always be them three forever💕
i love that last shot
The part where Fawkes fly away is killing me :(
Rikke Togeskov me to 😞
Rikke Togeskov it's fawkes
Why did he fly away
dumdum Geary Dumbledore died and I think it's a symbol of when he went, fawkes went too.
@@llamadramag5494 Fawkes was Dumbledore's friend, not the Order's mascot. Something had to leave Hogwarts for good with Dumbledore.
I only came here for this scene after I heard what happened 2:25 😢Rest In Peace Michael Gambon 🙏
rupert shouldve had at least one line in this scene
Book Ron : Yeah, curse Steve Kloves!
Absolutely. If I had to pick out one thing that I wish was done differently in the HP films, it's that Ron was utilized more. He's slowly tossed to the back burner in the later films.
@@ComedyBros5 i heard he had the swine flu so thats why he didnt
I like how hermione always reminds harry that he doesn't have to do anything alone he's got his friends & I'm glad that ron & hermione always had Harry's back whenever it comes to something dangerous
I love how JK created this concept of Dumbledore and Fawkes..
It's sad to see Fawkes leave Hogwarts bcoz his Master was no more
There is a corner in each one's of our heart that gets revisited after watching this scene with bundle of feelings that we hide from the outside world..❤️
This whole scene was sad. When Fawks flew by with his sad cry/song I lost it. 😭
easily the saddest ending
00:50 dope sneakers
Ye stop....🤦♂️
WHAT ARE THOOOOOOOOOOOSE
I remember seeing this when it first came out in the theater as a cynical almost-fifteen-year-old and thinking, "Great. Why does it have to end with a final shot of the lake...again?!" But now it's moving, so moving...
Fawkes’ cry literally gets me sobbing, the sad beauty behind it is overwhelming
The song of Fanny flying away from the castle forever now that her master is dead is something that always breaks my heart. Also wonderful is the scene of the trio, which we see together in peace for the last time, with the panorama of Hogwarts, which will always be their real home ❤️
Harry honestly thought he was gonna go on without Ron & Hermione at his side? Fat chance
I lose it every fucking time when he says that he never just truly stopped to see how beautiful the school and everything he’d found there in light of his mentors death and the music kicks in with that view of the scenery surrounding the castle...I just can’t NOT cry. It just resonates so powerfully with me as I’m sure it does with anyone else who has experienced great loss in their life and it makes them appreciate the beauty that’s been around them all along on a whole other level.
beautiful, one of my fav hp scenes and the soundtrack here and fawkes goddd
The best hp final scene
Thats a end of an person that understands potter - Rip Dumbledore
I wanna go back in time and experience harry potter all over again.. the nostalgia hits so hard
When I saw this in the movies, I thought back to the Shawshank redemption and "Some birds aren't meant to be caged their feathers are just too bright"...
in the book: 'he felt his heart lift at the thought that there was still one last golden day of peace left to enjoy with ron and hermione'.
When you meet your best friend after a long time.it's the feeling.
Oh, I hate this scene so much.
Book Ron was right there with Harry telling him that he will not let Harry go alone and Hermione was like 'let's do this' and Harry was like 'thanks, you two😥'
And the movie Ron is just sitting in the background listening to Hermione and Harry.
It makes me so sad :(
I agree about Ron but this is still such a touching ending
Them talking about Ginny makes me smile
how 🐿much🐿wood🐿would🐿a🐿woodchuck🐿chuck🐿if🐿a🐿woodchuck🐿could🐿chuck🐿wood👏👏woodchuck🐿could🐿chuck🐿wood👏👏woodchuck 🐿
Emma Watson has got such beautiful hands.
awwww :( this HAS to be the saddest ending of alllll movies.
I literally cry every single time I watch this scene..the soundtrack gives me chills 😭😭🙂gonna miss this.. probably the best movie franchise ever!!
beautiful scene and music
There goes Fawkes, never to be seen again.
Such a beautiful ending, one of my favorites and such a beautiful film to end the 2000s (2000-2009) decade with 💯🔥
2:25 oh my god that cry
One of the best ending scenes in movie history ,music ,landscape everything is perfect
When I read the books for the first time, I couldn't believe that dumbledore was dead. I thought that fawkes will save hid although he was al a few days dead....
My favourite ever scene from a movie is this one. the music and the phoenix and overlooking hogwarts with the sunset behind it.
This scene always makes me nostalgic...
Absolutely. You feel the sense that all of that sweet, home-sweet-home feeling of Hogwarts is changing and never coming back.
This is technically the Empire Strikes Back/ Revenge of The Sith of the Harry Potter series. It ends with the Death Eaters taking over the school and the heroes having to go away in order to defeat the villain at their most lowest point.
I remember seeing this in theaters and wanting to stand there with them enjoying the beautiful view
Thumbs up if you love♡ HP more than twilight :)
Amanda Eklund how can any like twilight
Shane Corn muffin I can.
Twilight is shit whereas this is well made
Twilight is so boring it makes people fall asleep at least Harry potter series has real action real emotions badass villian and heroes and actors that have great emotions Twilight needs to be erased from existence and forgotten about.
Yikes that debate ended about 5 years ago - let people enjoy what they want to enjoy
“It was always Snape” which was exactly the plan
The golden trio
The extended version of this scene adds so much more and makes it way better than the amazing scene it already is. I don’t know why they shortened it
I love this scene so much, it gives me the chills
Really a amazingly emotional part.. Can't explain..
This is a good ending. Cry every time
Best feeling when I watch this scene ...can't explain....I also want To go there n live this moment s
The saddest part of this scene that always makes me cry, is fawks flying in the sky, now that his owner is gone. And, I always cry during these bittersweet endings of Harry Potter. Truly a breathtaking huge series. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it.
