    "I never realized how beautiful this place was."
    I love that line. I think it's so beautiful that he says it when he's about to leave the place of his childhood. It's like he's realizing that you don't really realize how great something is, until it's about to be gone from you.

      In my opinion that's not true because Hogwarts will always be home to Harry Potter but I feel like the friends and the family that he has in his life have been more of a home to him then he ever did when he lived with his aunt and uncle. But in the end his aunt learn to finally make peace with him and eventually his uncle did the same but in all the years that he has lived with them even his own cousin knew he was never a waste of space. So when it came to family and friends and making peace with his relatives it makes perfect sense that Hogwarts definitely changed him into becoming a better person and he's always been a better person it's just most people had to open their eyes to see it.

      Fawkes dissappearing did made for a stronger impact on how heavy Dumbledore's death is weighted. arguably the biggest loss of the 2nd wizarding war. Phoenix's represent rebirth. so i'd like to believe that the spirit of Dumbledore somehow lives on and is reborn somewhere and THAT is where Fawkes is going to search for whoever Dumbledore had become, which could literally anyone like a spanish muggle or perhaps a brazilian wizard.. who knows?.. this is just me speculating and my own head-cannon though:)

    For so long I've been sad that they didn't play Fawkes' theme here and only now I realize that the music here actually references it! I guess it would have been too much to break the other music to play it fully, but there is actually a clear reference within the music, even ending the film without turning away from it. I'm happy now.

    • @darealconman
      @darealconman Před 11 měsíci

      Ron and Ginny are obviously siblings, but everyone sees that Harry and Hermoine share the same sibling-type of love towards each other, even though they’re not related until the end of DH2 (Harry and Hermoine become in-laws by marriage).
      Hermoine knows Harry has feelings for Ginny, and the fact that she tells him that Ron’s okay with Harry dating Ginny proves that Hermoine knows Ron loves Harry like a brother, but she also warns Harry to not kiss Ginny so much around Ron because Hermoine knows that Harry and Ginny’s kissing would disgust Ron.
      It wasn’t until Ron and Lavender kissed that Harry knew Hermoine had feelings for Ron, and he went down to comfort Hermoine. Plus, Hermoine was dropping obvious hints that she loves Ron in this movie, yet Ron didn’t understand any of those hints, instead telling Hermoine that she has a butter-beer mustache on her upper lip.
