Our riverboat was stuck in low waters so we caught a coach to Regensburg and spent a couple of hours exploring the town. We show you what the town has to offer and Lisa enjoys looking at some leather pants. Is two hours enough in this charming town? Come along with us to find out. We visited in October 2023.

Good to see the bars are coming into play more although we need to see inside them more.

I was quite jealous when you said you could go there for a weekend. It's about a 17-hour flight from here if we go non-stop. Regensburg looks really nice.

Never let being all-inclusive prevent you from taking a cake break ! We’ve been fortunate on our river cruises that water levels have been fine. It must be very frustrating to have the on shore experiences curtailed so much when they do impact. Thanks for another informative video.

Thanks Nick. It was more of the time limitation that curtailed a leisurely cake break than the all-inclusive aspect. This was the stop that affected us the most due to the river levels. Everything else was fine re the destinations. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍

Thanks for watching. We did these towns on our River Cruise but I believe you can visit via train or bus from Munich. You may have to get connections from other towns/cities though.
