Rolls Royce engines are the best
I don't quite understand what Boeing was thinking when they built this lemon... It's 10% smaller than the 767400ER & almost 30% smaller than the 777, yet is noisier than either, and cost significantly more than either of them... Add it all the glitches & safety defects, and It's no wonder they've sold so few...
Why not just do an upgraded version of the 767, with modern avionics, wing design & upgraded engines, and compete head on with the a350 ??
The only lemon around is yourself. Its by far, the best airliner to fly with, as a passenger.
I know there are always a lot of numbers thrown around so it’s easy to get misled but the main reason is actually the fuel efficiency. 787s burn upwards of 30% less fuel than any other airliner in their class or ratio-wise towards a 777. They’re large model is roughly the same size as a 777, but the smaller one you see here is perfect for Norwegian as they have a few very ‘niche’ routes. The demand isn’t crazy for these routes yet so their very good at what they do :)
