I felt the same way. I'm just a bit older than these guys and I have loved Python and Brooks for as long as I can remember. I probably saw Spaceballs first and then the rest but Brooks and Python are absolutely timeless comedy legends that are must see for every generation. My niece and nephew are still too young for it but as soon as they are old enough I will make damn sure they are as educated in classic comedy as I have educated them in classic Disney. We must all do our part to keep greatness alive in the future.

    With footwork impeccable.
We dine well here in Camelot.
We eat ham and jam and spam a lot.
We're Knights of the Round Table.
    Our shows are formidable,
But many times we're given rhymes
    That are quite unsingable.
    We're opera mad in Camelot.

In war, we're tough and able,

A lot of people get a little confused when they mention Frankenstein, they usually mean the monster not the doctor. It's kind of a common misconception. Kind of on the same subject, I've read the original book and in it Dr. Frankenstein says: "He is the first, therefore I shall call him Adam," something of which most movie adaptations tend to gloss over. The only Frankenstein movie I know refers to that is "I, Frankenstein."

It's almost has if the movie came out in a different era and it's not unfathomable to think people born decades after their release wouldn't know of them.

To be fair it's kind of dated now. The plot isn't as unique as something like a Mel Brooks movie.
