    I agree with Sara on the outro. Don't try to make it look like professional actors. Just be yourselves and how it comes out is how it is. Nice video, thanks for sharing.

    Good stuff, so glad you are sharing these nuggets for folks who may not have thought of them.
    We were sitting here nodding and saying yep yep and laughing about remembering those little steps.
    Building our Highlander was a very enjoyable experience not counting some of the paint experience.

    Love what you/crew are doing Steve thank you. There is always more that can be done to stay competitive. Baby steps are safe and necessary.....edit: but do you ever entertain any majors new ideas? Things that would make the judges, competitors and spectators gasp?

    Really good profile and fit-up between the wing trailing edge and flap and aileron leading edges. That's a sweet wing.

    I am excited to see your rematch. 3 questions: 1 how much does the sidewinder engine weigh, is it much different from the apex in weight ? what about rotating mass weight differences, 3 cylinders should be better. 2 dimensionally how different are they length width height, 3 will the same Skytrax gearbox work or is there something top secret in the works? . love your videos thanks for posting these they are informative and helpful!!

    • @SteveHenry
      @SteveHenry  Před 2 lety +2

      I think the three cylinder is about 15 pounds lighter. They use different gearboxes, Skytrax builds both of them. Complete with gearboxes installed they are very nearly the same size. The way I build motor mounts for both of them the prop flange is 1 1/4 inches farther forward on the three cylinder. The three cylinder gearbox is longer front to back than the one on the four-cylinder, and I also put the three cylinder engine slightly farther away from the firewall.

    Why haven't you used drooping ailerons when flaps are deployed, similar to Mike Patey's Draco or Scrappy?

  • @hamiam2243
    @hamiam2243 Před 2 lety

    Definitely not the same without Sara , but nice ailerons in flaps👍😎
