Technically any 12 gauge shotgun meets the NFA definition for a destructive device, because the bore diameter is larger than 1/2 inch. However, the NFA exempts shotguns used for sporting purposes from being regulated as DD, and ATF has declared that they generally consider 12 gauge shotguns to be exempt. However in 1994 they declared that they don't consider the Street Sweeper to be eligible for the exemption because it has no sporting purpose.

Background checks for everything is a good idea. I dont understand the hate people have towards gun control laws that don't actually have any impact on whether you can get a gun or not. Strong registration programs help solve crimes, and background checks on person to person sales help prevent straw purchasing for criminals because the last owner can be charged, disencentivising it.

I love my Taurus Judge. It's a lot of fun to shoot at the range. I use it as a snake gun in the woods and for protection from coyotes and hogs when loaded with .45LC. I usually keep bird shot in the first two chambers and .45LC in the remaining three chambers.

I disagree with your Taurus judge comment, we used them while horseback riding for dealing with wild dogs AND rattlesnakes. 45 for the dogs and .410 for the rattlesnakes, it was nice to have both on tap

Edy Coyote snakes can spook your horse, possibly leading to you getting tossed off or your horse getting hurt. And if a horse is bit by a rattler in the leg, the swelling can cause it to cut off circulation to the hoof. Very serious injury for a horse.
Im pretty sure he said that if you used it for pest control that was one thing. But for a home defense weapon it was kind of ridiculous,. If you are insist on a revolver for home defense why not a .357?

Before, you would need an authorization to transport (ATT). Now, the ATT is attached to your license, so you don't need to call in every time you need to transport your firearms.

James, I agree with you: not all guns have to be tacticool. BBQ guns are just fine. That said, while I DO travel in areas choc full of prairie rattlers, and thought the Judge was hot when I first saw it, a never bought in. I've had to shoot a rattlesnake practically off of my right foot! I've weighed out what a #9 or #12 from a CCI shotshell would do to my foot, and think I could live with that. With a .38 or .22mag through a rubber boot we are talking tweezers. With a .410 and a 1/2 to 3/4oz load in a tighter pattern, one could blow their foot half off!
The Judge serves it's intended purpose to perfection: It sells.

If the ghost Gunner machine can be used for things other than making 100% receivers/frames etc. (Like doing actual normal cnc stuff) I'd be all over it. Having a relatively cheap, very high quality, desktop size cnc machine would be awesome.
I bought one of the Taurus Judges when they first came out. It does exactly what I hoped it would. Which is to put smiles on my face, and the faces of everyone that's gone to the range with me. It's one of the full size long barrel ones, so it's just ridiculously long and honestly silly looking, but just a lot of fun.

I have a 19X and I love it! It's my first Glock. I love the color too! Also, I open carry generally but, when I think I need to conceal it, I wear a shirt over it!

love my 19x, but im going to be getting the G45 to get rid of that lip in front. For me its because my meathook hands don't fit the 19 so well especially the Gen5 (half moon in front under my pinkie), Gen3-4 (finger grooves don't match my fingers) lol
I was thinking I might take a Dremel to the lip in front but, probably not just to keep it original. I bought 3 more 19 rd mags that match the color plus an Olight and Safari Land holster that basically all match the color. Like I said already, I like the color! 😊 My hands fit perfectly with no changes to the back strap. W/ the G45 you'll be able to mix and match colors too!🤠
I like the color myself, and im not gonna go hacking pieces off, I just like the G45 seems to fix the one complaint I had with the 19x (well tbh I wish they would have left the manual safety on it purely for the historical context of being the glock entry into the military handgun trials. I wouldn't use it I just wish they'd have left it)
The 19X is my first Glock as well. It's sized the same as most other 9mm poly strikers on the market so I really don't understand the hate towards it. You've been able to chop a 17 grip since they first came out but you haven't been able to put a 19 slide on a 17 frame before.
I like Glock 19x. But i prefer a revolver. Like any type of 357.

The ghost gun machine actually is very very cool. The fact that you can get an 80% lower receiver, mill it out to make it a full lower receiver without ever needing a background check is unreal. Gotta love those loopholes people find in the laws and capitalize on it.

What I will say is the Lehigh defense 45 colt that's specially designed for judges/governors is a hell of a round and works great on soft targets. There's a great video showing it and I've down some tests myself

I am an actual Judge and yes I carry the Taurus judge with me daily It was given as a Christmas gift a few years ago. I love my Taurus judge and practice with it monthly, I use Winchester pdx defender and alternate .45 long colt. believe me you won't like being on the receiving end of this thing

I have the 19x and G45. Love them because I don't like the longer but I do like full size grip and magwell. I have big hands and like the extra purchase. Get over the 19x James. I dig the hybrid.
