I'm a certified Gunsmith and Licensed FFL dealer, the Vism sight pusher is very limited to what you can do with sights, I use a REAL AVID sight pusher, the Night fision is one of the best sights you can get they're the brightest i've used, I have Night fision on my personal guns. Night fision makes 3 different heights for sights small, medium,Large. I used the Large on my Sig P365 and its a perfect fit cowitnessed perfectly. I never use factory lock tight. I use Blue Vibra-Tite (blue 121). front sight torque should be 5lb-7lb
Nice slide and sight combo !! Can't wait to see this complete build finished !!
Thanks for watching brother!
Part 2 ready!!!!! It’s going to look nice with that RMR.
Hell yeah! 😎
One thing to note after changing many sights and rounding the bolt head more than once…..take a soldering iron and put on the head of the bolt for 10-15 seconds to loosen loctite. I have the same sight pusher. I too like a shorter than suppressor height sight for optics, but taller than stock height.
Thanks for that advice bro. Makes sense! I'll definitely keep that in mind for the future!
Just picked up a pair of these sights. Need to get a sight pusher now
The sight pusher makes it so much easier. Definitely pays for itself after the 1st or 2nd use!
Going to look
Good with that rmr
It's become my favorite pair up. I wish I had gone this route with the rest of my builds
👍🏻
Hey Brother any tips for the back sights when they gets stuck? I have some on my 34 that for the life of me I can not remove. I can send pictures if needed. thanks brother
I've never done it but I've heard if you put metal in the freezer it slightly shrinks. I'm not saying it will work, but it might help. Maybe strip the slide and put it in the freezer for an hour or two. Again, I have no idea if this will work. 🤷
some sights that's factory installed is a pain in the ass to push them out. I on a general rule push from right to left. You can use a vise and use a brass or plastic punch don't clamp slide to hard so you won't deform the slide and ruin it, or os a sight pusher tool, to save yourself a nightmare get a glock front sight tool if you strip that nut you will have a nightmare to deal with
Two thumbs-up.
Thanks!
I think my next set will be Night Fision.
You will love them
