great video,,This S&W will be one of my next purchases, and knowing the mods I plan on doing, your videos have been a big help...the comparisons of the different sights are huge..Thank you for the info. ......
Well I think you sold me, I would definitely like to get some of these. I really like the orange, and now I have to go look up the green too. I think you did a thorough and great job showing these sights and the comparison's too.
When I first heard about these sights I was already interested I agree with you on the orange I would probably try the yellow they seem to be a little bit brighter on that ring, however, the ring itself is not paint , it's a Teflon fill of some sort wgich they fill the entire piece with so that's why they will never fade or basically rub off like paint would.
Yes I love mine bought them like 3 years ago still glowing like new and I love the way There set up during the day it’s a blacked out rear and at low light and dark you make the 8 it’s fast and easy it’s definitely my favorite sight four other competitors We seem to share the same thoughts and comparing issues
Good comparison. I'm limited in my sight choices, cuz I have old eyes and only use the 2-dot system. I was using XS with standard dot and probably will for all my sub-compacts. But, I just installed Ameriglo #601 (green trit rear u-notch w/ high-viz yellow, green trit front) on my 2.0 compact and "Holy Mother...." These are the brightest, but with a smaller, more subtle rear, which I prefer.
I will say I am normally a Trijicon HD XR guy. The one gripe I have had about them is the sharpness of the rear sights, however up till now the best sight picture IMO there is. Having said this I have purchased a set of these for my XDS Mod2 9mm but haven't installed them yet. You are the first one that I have ran across that said that you didn't have to file these at all to get them on. I will install my own sights IF i don't have to do any filing and fitting, or at least I haven't in the past. But maybe I will this time around..
Really, really good video! Still think I'm going to go with the XS Standard Dot sights on my PCR. Also liked that you mentioned your solo chats "every whenever..." Ha! Keep up the great work.
@Rick Brisard Check out the XS Sights website now. Their new DXT2 version incorporates a glow-in-the-dark orange ring as well as a rear tritium bar for the S&W M&P series pistols.
Their sites are not painted that color goes all the way through its part of it, that's why chemicals oils or anything else does not ruin the Finish or take it off.
I guess im asking randomly but does anyone know a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost my password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.
Great review. I'm a little late to comment but wanted to say to others considering these sights that I had to grind quite a bit off the rear sight to install on a Glock. Started with a stone but had to bust out the dremel. Once installed they are good but not the best night sights. I prefer TFX Pro but the price was too good not to try. Much much better than stock Glock plastic, that's for sure. Only slightly better than factory Glock night sights so I probably won't be swapping with these.
Great to see another video from you it’s been a while since I’ve checked one out I have a lot of interest in this particular set of sites I do not want tritium on the back only on the front and I’m going for the blue front. That’s because I’m a Capricorn born in December and blue is my birth color so I’m going for that I think they will look especially unique and they do look great I think they are worth the price and they’re just different speaking of different I put the dead ringer snake eyes night sights on a Glock with the orange front and green rear with the ghost ring and a laser max guide rod because of the guide rod the pistol is already set for 25 yards And ironically the sights are set for the same so that pistol I have found in my practice has been absolutely flawless at 25 yards once I found my site picture it was excellent with the laser it is total cheating most people do not like the dead ringer I love that particular set
I had contacted dead ringer to see if I could get some for a review but I never heard from them i wound up buying the night vision and they're a good set for the price
I'm like you 1776 , I love my ameriglo sights very much ! They just shipped my set from night fision for my GLock 19 , and I orderd the green front sight and the same u notch rear that you have on the rear of your shield . You make some great points and they at least seem on par with the AMERIGLO and TRIJICON sights . You really can't go wrong with the AMERIGLO at there price point , and I just wanted to try these new NIGHT FISION brand sights just to see how they are ! Your video helped me very much , you at least gave me some confidence that the sights are at least on par with the other two brands discussed and at least I won't be disappointed with them ! Are they worth the price difference from the ameriglo maybe , or maybe not ! But if there at least equal and you said the fit n finish is really nice , the Orange front outline is good , tritium is good , then I'll be happy ! Thank you 1776 , I am so happy , that I came across your channel , and then, because of you , I found the three guys gun chat ! I love all three of your channels ! I appreciate your work , time , energy and resources , and am truly thankful for the information and your opinions in the gun community . Enjoy the rest of your day , be safe , and hopefully I'll see you and hear you tonight if the chat is on this evening . Take care 1776 , and enjoy your new sights ......
Great video!!! Have your heard anything good or bad on lakeline llc night sights? I'm looking for sights for my Taurus G2S and my Taurus G3. Thx William
I got em on eBay for $75 free shipping for a 43....I went with white front and rear....I not only have that early 40's vision, but a few more problems as well...love em though
They now have a red ring as well as orange and I think it pops out better. I like mine. I got the single Tritium dot in the center of the back instead of the 3 dots.
I think the reason the rear sights look brighter is because the ring around the tritium is black where in the front some of the light from the tritium is bleeding into the colored ring making it look fuzzy or dimmer. I'm going with the white rings on the rear sight because I like the 3 dot in the day light . I'm also going Orange on the front for me it looks brightest.
I'm NO expert...but I AM a very young 69 years old and shoot at ranges 3-4 times a week. Some outdoor daytime and some indoor under lighting. And.....what I have learned.....and experienced....is there is NO substitute.....for a large, hi viz type YELLOW or WHITE specifically front sight. The other colors....including orange....in many instances.....just don't show up as well. Glock's white sights are actually pretty damn good. I had a HI VIZ yellow sight on my Glock 17 and took it off because I liked the stock white better. But the hi visibility YELLOW.....is my favorite .
I've always prefer the orange highlighted sights. But after trying a friends. I'll be picking up the yellow or yellowish -green sights from Night Fision for the Canik. In low light the yellow seems to remain more visible. At least to my eyes. Anyways good video 76!
Agreed on the yellow or yellowish-green being a little higher visibility in low light. I read that on another review somewhere, but I forgot which sights they were reviewing.
What are your thoughts on the glow front sights option wherein the phosphorescent glowing ring, will glow after an outside light charges the outer ring but you still have the inner tritium inner portion?
I've researched on Trijicon sights, and initially thought that they were the best night sights on the market, even though they look a bit higher than some others. Night Fision sights seem to have the same height as stock sights for pistols such as the Smith and Wesson M&P, the Glock 19, the Sig Sauer P320, or the CZ-P10C, to name a few in order to have the same holster fit them.
Called NF a couple of weeks ago and they said they're working on CZ next. No timeline communicated tho but I'm excited cause I have alot of CZs and these sights look excellent

Night fision sights only last about six months before they stopped glowing and look frosted over. I've had two sets of glow domes so far that stopped working within six months. They sent me a replacement, that too stopped glowing within a couple months and look frosted over. I guess I'm going back to Ameriglo or Hi-Viz.
These sights are GREAT! I have them on my P30sk, P07 and a Glock 19. The front sight really stands out in daytime shooting. Has a huge ring on them. Good stuff.
Great Review. Current in 2020 what sights are your go to? I got the I dot pro for my G19 but it's not as bright as I'd like for my eyes. So I just ordered the XS Big Dots as I hear they are a bit similar to the figure 8 style of the I dots.. Curious is you think this was a good choice. Cheers and thanks for the content I've learned a lot
Cammenga owns Night Fision. They're a DOD supplier from wayback. Their compasses got me from Point "A" to Point "B" a few times with waypoints thrown in to make it interesting. I'm sure their sights are worth the asking price. I never saw a Cammenga compass lose it's minty green glow.
Great review, I have to admit that I am somewhat cost conscious as well and lets be honest that most gun stuff is usually ridiculously expensive. I hope these are pretty decent because I decided to give them a try and ordered at set for 75 bucks off eBay for my G19.
@@michaelkuhle9866 oh, to be honest i personally dont use them a whole lot. Are they probably ok, i guess so but they have a fairly large dot which apparently I just don’t gravitate towards. I also have a Glock 19x with the stock sights on it and I definitely just use that gun much more.
@@theunchartedtrucker1113 I can get a set of truglo's for 55$ whereas I can only get the front post from night fison for about 50$.. I don't mind the large front dot. After 5 years though, does it still have decent glow left?
@@michaelkuhle9866 well I just checked for you on how well the glow is still on the sights, because I had no idea to be honest. Ya the glow is still really pretty good, better than I would have thought, I dont really remember much difference in glow from when they were new. If you have the money available, I would pry just wait for a sale on the night fison.
You should have gotten the glowdome model. The front lens is shaped like a dome and glows super bright. And the orange and yellow will glow if light is shined in them. I love mines
Hey 17! Nice job on the review! Good observations, along with decent audio and clear camera shots of the sights. The best night sights I own IMHO are the Meprolights. They were touted to be the brightest tritium sights on the market at the time, which was about 2-2½ years ago. They are very bright and have a nice sight picture during the day as well. My TFX Pros are great during daylight with the nice bright fiber optics, but the tritium night sights are not as bright as I would like them, as I mentioned to you in one of your other videos. As you know, the TFX Pros utilize a unique concept with combining both fiber optics and tritium. Overall, they're nice sights and I would recommend them. I also would recommend the Meprolights. If you're on a tight budget they can be found at a really reasonable price, and are a great value. They perform well under most lighting conditions. Not as fancy (bells and whistles) or high tech cutting edge design, but they get the job done. I'm interested in knowing how these Night Fision sights compare in brightness to others, being they claim they are the brightest with the most tritium gas. From what you can distinguish by your eye, are these brighter than your TFX Pros? Your Ameriglo's? The Trijicon HD's? I'm looking at the two latter ones right now, along with the Night Fisions. BTW, what sights did you install on your Shield? Thanks again!
Honestly I think they are marketing plan is actually very effective do I think they're the brightest sites I think they have the potential to be but the front window on the front sight is just too small so you can't really pick it up as a bright front sight I think they could be brighter than the tf-x pros I think they could be brighter than the ameriglo I don't necessarily think they may be brighter than the Trijicon however like I said I feel their vile is just too small which gives you potentially a false image that it is not as bright on my shield I put the new XS sights I like those but again I wish they would have painted the front sight brighter at the end of the day money-wise and quality wise I would stick with ameriglo
I really don't plan on shooting in the dark so night sights in general are of no use to me. The ability to run the slide with the rear sight is a must have. However I do like bright front sights and prefer black rear, no 3 dots. And my eyes are many years older than your eyes. I think that overall Ameriglo sights are the best bang for the buck. Last fall I shot a friends pistol with black rear and a fiber optic front that was bright and quick to pick up .
The question is is the paint on the orange front sight luminous because I just got some ameriglo Spartan operators in the orange paint is not luminous only the green and I'm a little upset but they were only 65 bucks so this why I got them
Yeah in regards to the red same as ameriglo only the greens will glow with light with these sites they do not glow in the dark either on the orange portion
They claim the orange or yellow is not actually painted but a “dyed” plastic. Almost like a fiber optic rod imbedded in the steel post, if that makes sense. I also heard from other reviewers that the yellow front is brighter then the orange. As far as the rear tritium being brighter, you can take a black sharpie and color over them. You will still be able to see them plenty but dim them down to make the front pop more. The sharpie will rub off in about a week, if you carry the gun everyday. I have contemplated trying some type of paint marker or something more permanent.
I think the window is too small on the night fision my p10 front which is also night fision is larger which looks brighter than the m&,p. I'll be doing another vid at some point
The rear sight is nice. Bright tritium. But the front sight is a disaster. With the first one - tritium capsule must have got damaged while installed and it got dark (no “light” in the dark. The second one - after few hundreds shots, the orange ring fell off, and later, after next 50-100 shots (next visit at the range) tritium capsule fell out somewhere into the grass. Moreover during deinstallation of front sight (to resend it to seller for complaint purpose), it just broke of from its base. Now it seems, I just lost my chance for complaint/refound.. I can’t recommend these sight.. It's not just my experience.. The reviews at Night Fision site, opitcsplanet etc. are similar.. :(
The sights are not painted. They are one solid piece of polymer. That’s why they are more superior then other sights cause you don’t ever have to worry about paint fading or scratching off.
No too much USD. No iron fixed sight worth more then 20.00usd. Its a simple job, no mechanical operation. No reason to cost that much. I bought a tiny bottle night Flo paint 5.00usd 20 years ago. Beats any night sight I have seen or used. Just my thoughts.
Colin Mantooth mine got deformed and I had to push it back in when I had to use a heat gun to remove front sight I loctited. I sent them back. I do like my ameriglo pro I dots though
The sight I got - front sight for a p320 - was garbage and what's worse they won't stand behind their garbage. I also self installed with a brass punch and the blade broke off the base when it was almost home. When I emailed them, they said installation wasn't covered but feel free to purchase another one anytime. As if! And the claim that they are the brightest? Pure bullshit. The stock nite sites that came on my suppressor ready CZ p07 are much, much brighter.
The quality has went down. My orange sight you can barley see it. Yours is bright orange and alot thicker ams better. Mine does not look like that at all.
They don't make em for CZ... Boooo They actually look like decent sights. I like the rear U shape also and don't like a big gap in my rear sight. I like the front sight to fit in the rear notch with just a sliver of light showing on either side of it.
Its a colored polymer ring not paint..night fisions parent company is called comenga..they make tritium compasses for the military for the last twenty years..they arent hurting for money..no need to advertise with free samples
I do love your subdued lead in music. YEAH, I'M AWAKE NOW! LISTENING!

That M&P 2.0 is looking pretty sexy with the sights and trigger upgrade! Nice video!
the compact does everything right
Great video 1776! I like "U" notch sights as well, but usually adapt pretty well to just about anything quickly. (Can you say Steyr trapezoidal?) :-)
Just the video I was looking for!! Saw the daily shooters quick view and wanted to see sight picture!! Great vid!!!
Thanks hope it helps
Good comparison. I'm limited in my sight choices, cuz I have old eyes and only use the 2-dot system. I was using XS with standard dot and probably will for all my sub-compacts. But, I just installed Ameriglo #601 (green trit rear u-notch w/ high-viz yellow, green trit front) on my 2.0 compact and "Holy Mother...." Really, really good video! Still think I'm going to go with the XS Standard Dot sights on my PCR. Also liked that you mentioned your solo chats "every whenever..." Ha! Keep up the great work.
Matthew Davis you can't lose with all choices
Nice Review, and they look pretty nice! Carry on
I ordered the Accur8 sights from Night Fision for my P10S, love em.
Thanks for the review good job.👍
I completely agree with you. If XS made their big dots in a super bright orange they would be the best quick acquisition sights on the market.
@Rick Brisard Check out the XS Sights website now. Their new DXT2 version incorporates a glow-in-the-dark orange ring as well as a rear tritium bar for the S&W M&P series pistols.
Great sight very informative review thanks

Kevin Roberts and that's why I think they're worth buying
1776 or Bust do you have to file them to fit on a Glock 27
I was going to say this until I saw your post.. glad I looked before speaking(typing) lol
@@1776orbust Night Fision is doing sights for the P10-C now, you should pick one up to replace that sad orange ring you have on yours there.

I in stall XS tritium W/orange ⭕ they look the same. I like them alot
Does the front dot “sit” in the rear U?
Bought a front one for my P-10C and just like you said, they went on easily and the glow is excellent.
These sights are GREAT! I have them on my P30sk, P07 and a Glock 19. The front sight really stands out in daytime shooting. Has a huge ring on them. Good stuff.
What color do you have?
Like always, great review! Can you do a review on the Xs F8’s?
I did ...lol on my shield
1776 or Bust do you like the f8s better than the xs Big Dots? Man it would be awesome if the xs Big dot was orange!
i was very interested in them until i found out the front sight is a 2 piece. pinned and glued.
Hi
Great vid .
What trigger is this on the gun , the band and model please ?
Wish I had seen this vid before buying the Ameriglow I dot Pro
I dot pro's are excellent and cheaper. Also the trigger is the Apex Flat face trigger for the 2.0
Thanks
Great Review. Current in 2020 what sights are your go to? I got the I dot pro for my G19 but it's not as bright as I'd like for my eyes. So I just ordered the XS Big Dots as I hear they are a bit similar to the figure 8 style of the I dots.. Curious is you think this was a good choice.
Cheers and thanks for the content I've learned a lot
On my g19 I'm running dxt 2's
@@1776orbust nice! Happy I went the same direction, from what I've seen they are great for all around not just defensive as so any people have proven.
That trigger is dope. I need one
Shooter Industries a must imo
Do they make this for the new Beretta 92x
Cammenga owns Night Fision. They're a DOD supplier from wayback. Their compasses got me from Point "A" to Point "B" a few times with waypoints thrown in to make it interesting. I'm sure their sights are worth the asking price. I never saw a Cammenga compass lose it's minty green glow.
Great review, I have to admit that I am somewhat cost conscious as well and lets be honest that most gun stuff is usually ridiculously expensive. I hope these are pretty decent because I decided to give them a try and ordered at set for 75 bucks off eBay for my G19.
The Uncharted Trucker I think you're going to like them
Do you/did you end up liking them ?
Very cool vid!!
You should have gotten the glowdome model. The front lens is shaped like a dome and glows super bright. And the orange and yellow will glow if light is shined in them. I love mines
They weren't available when this video was made
Not heard of these. Interesting at a good price
TheHumbleMarksman they definitely do the job
Bets sights are Sig X Ray 3’s that come on the legion
how much was that nice trigger?
Neither do I but Murphy's aw
Would you recomend this or stock sig night site? Sig p229 40.
I like the xray
People never mention that the rear sight arms are machines at angles. They don’t dig into you when carrying. Will only use these for carry
The red sight from fision is brighter from what I've seen.
funny I did a vid on just that
Probably made for smithwesson and Glock. Wish there were more selections for cz
Keith Gemmill very interesting
I used a 🔨 to install just like the instruction said to. Best in the west
Wait, the night sights on the P10...were those Night Fision P10 nights sights or just CZ sights?
cz and they're terrible on the p10....too small
What sights are on the p10c?
cz custom
no set screw on the rear sight?
it's not paint it's injection molded polymer. it cant rub off
What kind of trigger is that could you provide a link to it
www.apextactical.com/
@@1776orbust thanks bud
Best sights I have are trijicon hd and night fision. worst sights are the Meprolight
Made in the USA i am sold!
Exactlt
Dude.... the fision front post is DEFINITELY brighter then the amerigo 😂😂😂 clearlllyyyy
BTW, when you get to 100k viewers, and you will, Night Fision will be calling _you._

Appreciate the support but I'm doubting that...lol
The sights are not painted. They are one solid piece of polymer. That’s why they are more superior then other sights cause you don’t ever have to worry about paint fading or scratching off.
Yes I know at the time of this video that information was not known
How cool! 177 thumbs ups, and 6 thumbs downs=1776. I want to thumbs up the video; but I don't want to screw that up.
Trae UCity lol go for it man
No too much USD.
No iron fixed sight worth more then 20.00usd.
Its a simple job, no mechanical operation.
No reason to cost that much.
I bought a tiny bottle night Flo paint 5.00usd 20 years ago.
Beats any night sight I have seen or used.
Just my thoughts.
Ameriglo Agency Sights
RAZORJB great choice
Colin Mantooth I have numerous sets as well as trijicon for many years and never had an issue except one time with trijicon the tritium vial fell out
Colin Mantooth Could be who knows, those are only two companies I buy from and mainly all black sights now so no worries
They're definitely not the brightest and I only have one set...I wouldn't buy another
Short answer 5 years later- Yes.
The quality has went down. My orange sight you can barley see it. Yours is bright orange and alot thicker ams better. Mine does not look like that at all.
They don't make em for CZ... Boooo
They actually look like decent sights. I like the rear U shape also and don't like a big gap in my rear sight. I like the front sight to fit in the rear notch with just a sliver of light showing on either side of it.
Shawn Bowen not yet but they are needed
Shawn Bowen They have said they will start making them for CZ. Just a matter of when.
Shawn Bowen You can pre-order them for the P10C + P07/PO9. They say CZ75 will be available in 2019.
YES THEY DO! CHECK OUT THE WEBSITE
Its a colored polymer ring not paint..night fisions parent company is called comenga..they make tritium compasses for the military for the last twenty years..they arent hurting for money..no need to advertise with free samples
oh well doesn't hurt to ask ....
Night Fision doesn't use paint, their color goes all the way through.
Picky picky picky. Review the Sig X-ray sights
Channel Cat Chaser send me a set😁
They're not as bright as Sig night sights, but brighter than the last sets of Trijicons I bought...
its not paint
jennifer baker yes thank you
1776 or Bust 😁😁
but nice review... subbed
