@@macsiebert8503yes, I agree, we also need more respectful men as well. For example, if a man approached me, I would respectfully have the conversation and politely tell him that I am not interested in a relationship and that I am currently married (because I am married). As I don't want to lead him on or waste his time, so I will tell him early on that there is no use of a conversation with intentions of flirting, so he can decide whether or not he wants to continue the conversation knowing this. But it seems that most of the time if I'm approached by men (especially younger men), they do not respect my decision and say "oh your husband will never know" or they are offended and keep flirting regardless. I then ask them to leave if they are not going to be respectful.
@@GDUniverse I’m not saying that It’s an act of extreme respect to let someone down gently, I’m saying that I have great respect for people with that skill. I should have made it clearer.
As a young man, I was often rejected by women that I approached. Later in life that changed and also, women started approaching me and I had to reject them. But while women could be rude and arrogant towards my younger self, I have never been rude or arrogant to them when it’s been the other way around.
I have never rejected anyone in a rude way. And I make sure I compliment their good manners so that they get encouraged. No one should be rude to anyone. Except married guys, I'm really rude to them, I make it clear that it's because they are married and I hope they get the message and DON'T EVER approach other women while they are married. I think we get a pass to be rude to married people when they want to cheat.
@@hamlet557good on you…people who are married really need to remember what a promise is, makes me sick even if I am single to see people not understanding the weight of that promise.
Women are supposed to be kind and nurturing, but so many are so cruel. Thank you for being nice to that man and being classy. You left him feeling good about himself even though you turned out to have a boyfriend already. Way more men would approach women if things went this way.
The toxic feminist idea is that women don’t care about the average male who isn’t super confident by nature. That’s 99% of the male population. They only care about the ones with such superb genetics that they can’t remember ever not being confident-the ones’ who are very confident by nature and probably had the right upbringing, too, to further instil confidence.
The vast majority of women will allow men to approach them. I think too many young guys especially think that most women will shun them or call them creepy if they approach them. This is nonsense. If you approach a woman sensibly and you have decent social skills - the worst that will happen is she rejects you
I appreciate that. I find that most women are like this. It isn't as bad as the reels make it look. You can just walk up to someone, saw hi and start a conversation. Sometimes they have a boyfriend and they'll let you know, sometimes they don't. If they have a boyfriend, don't keep hitting on her. If you're the type of guy to hit on someone with a boyfriend, you're causing the behavior this woman is shaming.
This /\ women don’t have a “duty” to jerks, if a woman senses that the guy is actually pretty nervous, this is a good way to let him down gently, but if he’s “that guy” be as harsh as you please
"Treat others the way you want to be treated." It's a phrase that seems forgotten in modern times. Thanks for being a woman all good intentioned men want.

Very well said. As a guy that has never approached a random girl with romantic intent it is VERY nerve wracking. I’ve wrestled in front of 20k+ people but somehow talking to a girl you like is more pressure than that xD. Rip my confidence
@@noonookinz4560 That's because unlike wrestling where your skill, practice, and experience has weight on the outcome of your engagement, attempting to approach a woman with romantic interest is the complete opposite. You can have great experience and a host of successful relationships and that has absolute 0 weight in the outcome of that engagement. The woman holds all the power to turn that engagement into a nightmare no matter how positive your previous relationships were or how sincere your interest was.
I've been turned down by women and the ones who let me down, similar to your method, always left me feeling better even though it didn't go the way I wanted.
Just thinking basic psychology: I wonder if this may be because you were able to even speak to a woman without "negative reinforcement" and instead were rewarded with a pleasant interaction, not the one hoped for obv, but still a positive one, so doing so again in the future would be easier. 🤔
@empireofthewolvesI think her whole point is that it's okay to talk to other men even if you're in a relationship. If he makes his intentions clear that's where you respectfully turn him down. Assumptions are usually toxic. It's okay to talk. If you feel like your time is wasted on a conversation then sorry but you're probably not worth spending any time with 😅
Nevertheless, I think the more we back off, the more they are forced to do it. It is good for them to feel what it is like walking in a man's shoes. Also, do not forget all the crap that can happen: false sexual assault allegations, walking out on a date halfway through the date, expecting you to do everything while she just has to show up. Now, if you get passed all that then you may have to deal with her: lying about being on the pill, using a false pregnancy test and lying about it being your baby, emotional abuse, physical abuse. Of course it you get married then: You have to buy the ring, you have to propose, you also pay for the dinner or event that you use to propose to her, then you are married: Then you may have to deal with then the minute she is pregnant with your child she is locked into your income for 20 years whether she stays with you or not, or she can lie about domestic violence. Then you may have to deal with divorce:
What a self aware and responsible person you are. I wish more people had this mindset of being an actual part of society that is thus responsible for how it behaves. We need more people so graceful and full of class
About 3 years ago now, I had a short, fun conversation with a manager at a stationery shop. I thought about her a lot afterwards. So the next day, I went back in and passed her a short, light-hearted note with my phone number. She very kindly said she'd recently started a new relationship. But she was so warm and genuine - as I wished her all the best and left, she thanked me for having "just made her day". No laughter, no mockery - just the warmest, most genuine smile I had seen in months. She was a real woman. And so is this lady. I didn't just walk away from that with my dignity and reputation intact. I was inspired.
That's awesome man. 😎 Seriously, keep it up! Being able to have conversation skills and the confidence to talk to anyone goes a LONG way. You can do it 🙂
I had a similar experience last summer. A very nice interaction, I returned the next day to ask her out, and learned she was in a relationship. She was kind, thanking me for making her day and encouraging me to keep doing what I was doing. I thanked her and wished her and her partner the best.
Thank you for that. When I was single, it took a lot for me to hype myself up to go up to a girl and get rejected. It was tough but much worse when the girl is rude
@@TheArsenalMan125 which girl is it?. And how did you approach?. I tend to agree by looking at the current environment, but in my heyday at 90's, women were not like today. I went through a similar situation, except the woman was staring at me and smiling at me, every day. I asked her out, and she said, "I have a boyfriend, sorry." While blushing. I am a lot older so remember when social interaction was normal and not considered creepy. I stopped dating in the US in the mid 1990s because the hostility was starting 30 years. In the first week I moved to another country where males and females actually like each other. Every day I meet really interesting, highly cultured attractive women, and the response is always pleasant interaction. It is great fun and often leads long term friendship. Why would I want female friends? Because a socially adept woman of any age is a joy to interact with. I do date a lot but not seeking marriage but a dinner date, hiking in the wood, attended opera or ballet or just sitting in a pub in conversation is a great way to spend my time. The reason is simply that a feminine articulate happy attractive woman is a great addition to my life. I do have a couple regulars who are interested in physical intimacy, sort of friends with benefits so I am not hitting women with that goal. Men and women in the US do not really like the opposite sex, but they want someone. It was not like that in their mothers prime social age. The fear, distrust and anger between the sexes in the US is very destructive to the people and society in general. I have dated in most of the 92 countries I have spent time in and very few societies are as suspicious of the opposite sex as the US.

@@jaegrant6441It’s difficult. I think both men and women can do their part to make the already anxiety inducing situation of approaching someone and initiating that contact easier for everyone. Men need to understand that if a woman politely says no and makes it clear she isn’t interested, THAT MEANS NO and it should be the end of it - you approached, you were rejected, it sucks but it’s part of life and you need to move on. On the flip side I think some women need to understand that rejection is already bad-feeling enough but to then be immediately labelled as a creep after only innocently exchanging literally a few words can be extremely damaging. If a guy approaches you and you say no and he accepts that without any drama and respectfully backs off there’s no need to be rude and call him a creep for no reason - if he continues pestering you and won’t take no for an answer then yes, he is absolutely a creep. At the end of our conversation I thanked her for the way she declined and left my dignity in tact and walked away actually more confidently and proud that I had done it. She giggled and said of course like it was her duty to respectfully decline all guys. I walked away with more respect and attraction for her knowing I had just asked out a real woman. The manager came over laughing and told me she'd demanded he throw me out. I'm disabled, and the operations director of the bar group was behind the bar too. He went over to this girl and told her to leave, when shecasked why he said "he's a good customer, and he's very very very rich" he came back over and said "you should have seen her face, guess she didn't clock the 500k vintage patek eh?". If I talk to you I'm not hitting on you! 😂😂😂
@@AV5oh neither, he ever complained about the rejection, but the way she rejected him rudely and the fact she went to the manager to throw him out despite him not having done anything wrong
As a girl I think we all start out like this then you run into the guy that accuses you of leading him or wasting his time etc and it just becomes easier to make it clear right away that you aren’t interested. There’s no reason to be rude, but prolonging the conversation isn’t always the right thing to do either, and first priority should be being faithful to my boyfriend, not making some stranger who approaches feel good about himself.
@@jaybee4288 probably the smartest comment I’ve seen today. There’s quite a few women that will lead guys on for free drinks or meals. And a dude shouldn’t be entitled for a smooth let down either. Sometimes the game isn’t always on easy mode
I think you handled that very well and i think we need more of that compassion in this world. I feel like it should be mentioned that it is not solely womens responsibility here, but also as men ,when we see other men abuse this common courtesy, to step in even if they are our friends. Because if women do not feel save giving this common courtesy then that is also a problem.
@@NiaEmiliaI get it but, you're fooling yourself into misery if you forget to put the numbers into perspective! Consult your country's official "statistics website" and look up the "murders per 100000 citizens per year" statistics of the last, say, 30 years or something like that. Specifically for your region if possible. And if available look at the number of male va female victims and male vs female murderers. And also how many % knew each other vs strangers. If people were able to date and have normal sane interactions with strangers in public in the past decades despite the existence of murderers, then we could still do it too today. After all, your boogeyman is still one in a million. Have you ever used an airplane? If yes: why? Some of them crash every year and kill everyone on board! 😮 That's not exactly 100% safe! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!1!! Did you ever trust a doctor about a medicine or a surgery? Shocking truth: you took a huge risk! Worldwide 10000s of people DIE every year, because a doctor f'ed up. So never visit a doctor or hospital again! It's not 100% safe! What I'm trying to say here is that avoiding every human interaction like the plague is neither helpful nor necessary. It only hurts yourself. Or do you really think you will find "the right one" on f'ing tinder? And if yes: that you never have to meet in person, not even for sex? Just "to be safe"? Because that seemingly awesome handsome tinder dude, that you fell for, that you texted with for months, and that didn't murder you yet, because he still doesn't know your address, could murder you on your first face to face date. 🤷♂️ So, the internet is not any safer than the good guy at costco that you call a creep because he "harassed" you because he dared to say "Hi, I'm Daniel!" So what's the solution, if every man is a potential threat? 100% home office, social media strangers as your circle of friends, and masturbation till death by old age? Learning to tell OBVIOUS assholes and OBVIOUS kind guys apart, would help a lot better. Because on average, women totally suck at that for some unknown reason. You fear the obvious good ones, and instantly fall for O B V I O U S psychopaths. It's the exact opposite of a rocket science. Learning this skill would enable women to not get a panic attack when some normie flirts, while not naively and happily getting into the car of an obvious serial killer. Plus, learning just some very basic self defense and body language reading skills would help too. Combine that with carrying one or two of the usual self defense tools like pepper spray, and you are in a good position. After reading all this, please realize that all of this applies to us men too! We need to learn to judge strangers. We need to learn to read body language. We need to learn self defense, and use tools if necessary. We aren't safe from other men. We aren't all physically much stronger or bigger then women. Most people these days have office jobs and are too burnt out for exercise. We aren't murdered for rejecting a flirt, but for hundreds of other reasons where women get a free pass. And yet, men need to interact with men they don't know every day without getting panic attacks. And it works. Because it is possible. It's a mindset thing. Sorry for writing this book 😅
this is what a emotially healthy high self esteem, woman who grews up with both parents looks like, however they are very rare lol, it's good on her part tho
This is psychologically the exact reason why many men won’t even bother anymore, but women like you give people hope. You’re right, even the toughest, most secure dudes have a rough time with approaching girls out of fear of mass embarrassment, public shaming, or accusations, assumptions, etc. and 9/10 times dudes feel like it isn’t even worth the trouble. I appreciate your mention of that, it would make the dating work a lot better if people were simply open to conversations. Everyone needs people to talk to every so often, and if more people understood that, the modern dating world wouldn’t be so messed up.
I do the same when a woman approaches me. The small talk always leads to me talking about my wife and kid. Letting the other person know I'm not available
as a dude with severe social anxiety based on having a physical disability i want to cry rn bcuz i gave up on romance early on due to being alienated. thank you for giving me a voice that those women are more likely to listen to than my own.
Bro... don't cry again, but... There are women who _prefer_ disabled men for one reason or another. And yes, one of those reasons could be genuine love. There are also disabled women too who need someone with similar activity levels to themselves so they can reasonably be able to keep up with them, we aren't all uggos either lol 😆 The bar is on the floor for most women anyway in spite of all the red pill nonsense about 6 pack abs and 401ks, you really just need to not be a shitty person at this point to pass as a 10/10. You very well might be someone's knight in shining armor! Don't give up just yet! ❤
If you have a physical disability, I hate to say it but it’s going to be difficult to attract women. Are you at least attractive facially wise? Do you dress well? Are you well groomed? What exactly is your physical disability that makes you feel you can’t attract anybody?
@@5und43If a woman “prefers” a disabled man, that could be a red flag as she’s looking for someone to control and abuse. If that’s true, why are more men becoming single and why is the number of incels growing?
I always appreciate women who says “thank you” when she politely turns me down. The crazy part is that I usually this from women who are 8+ in the looks department. Never be afraid to approach the gorgeous ones. Contrary to popular belief they’re usually nicer
Exactly. And thank you for keeping that in mind. I stopped approaching a LOOOOONG time ago, and I will never approach again. I got tired of the way in which ladies reject. As disappointing as it is to be rejected, the real bothersome part about it is the way in which ladies reject. We know we'll get rejected. We understand that you're not obligated to like us. We just want respect during rejection. So again, thank you for reminding everyone about that.

@@macsiebert8503yes, I agree, we also need more respectful men as well.

But it seems that most of the time if I'm approached by men (especially younger men), they do not respect my decision and say "oh your husband will never know" or they are offended and keep flirting regardless. I then ask them to leave if they are not going to be respectful.

Exactly, if women want more confident men, they need to let our young men practice like this. We don't get there magically.

Men and women in the
US do not really like the opposite sex, but they want someone. It was not like that in their mothers prime social age. The fear, distrust and anger between the sexes in the US is very destructive to the people and society in general. A few weeks ago a took a woman's order at the restaurant I work at. We made small talk, and chit chatted, and seemed to have a real nice vibe. I think that is how most women start out. Then they get sick of, after indicating they're not interested keep getting pressure put on them.
Even to the point where they pressure her to cheat or otherwise compromise their morals.
It is a two way street.
@@jaegrant6441It’s difficult. I can definitely understand why some women can be so closed off if a guy approaches them especially if they’ve had bad experiences with guys who won’t take no for an answer before.
She doesn’t owe you anything and she certainly doesn’t owe you an explanation as to why she isn’t interested. 99% of men understand this and will back off if a woman makes it clear she isn’t interested but unfortunately you do get psychos who don’t take no for an answer that make the rest of us look bad.
I absolutely hate the fact that when ever people bring up or talk about how women should treat men a human being, and be respectful, the Most common response is for them to bring up how "its a woman safety thing".
As much as people don't want to admit it. If its coming up that much, either at least a quarter of woman are getting attacked by random strangers or they are using it to ignore and dismiss a very well known issue.
Unfortunately not all men think like you do. The fast majority don't.

I've been a regular at a local restaurant. After a while, a woman who worked there began sitting across from me and starting conversations. I knew a little about her and what dating her could cause if I fell for her. I'm old enough that I just want peace in my life. After several short, pleasant conversations, I came right out and said that, if she was hoping I would ask her out, I would if I was looking for a serious relationship but that she's not the kind of woman I would use for what I might want a woman for.
I have been repeatedly put down by ladies, both the rude and the polite way. And I cannot decide which one of the two is more heartbreaking. But this one explains and makes me understand how a kind, gentle and compassionate woman is thinking. By the way, all of these are virtues our parents and grandparents have taught us and which, for some reason, we have started rejecting at some point, considering them as outdated. So, first of all, thank you for that. And secondly, a huge bravo to your parents because they have done something vary right with the way they brought you up.

This actually happened to me. It was the most respectful thing that I've ever seen a girl do. She spoke to me like I was a person and established that she had a boyfriend while continuing to speak to me and treat me like a person. At the end of our conversation I thanked her for the way she declined and left my dignity in tact and walked away actually more confidently and proud that I had done it.

So what's the solution, if every man is a potential threat?
