I started a 16:8 after visiting my doc who recommended it.
Until my doc suggested it, I thought I.F. was a fad that was like so many others.
At first it was a bit daunting but after a few days it felt routine and not dificult at all. My mental clarity has increased and have even felt euphoric at times.
I noticed yesterday that I was using a new belt hole and my clothes seem more loose.
Ive lost 11 pounds in 2 and a half weeks.
This is an eating style I can stick with.
    One recommendation:
Commit to this for at least a couple of months. It will reinforce a great habit within you.
For me this diet feels revolutionary.

I went from 265 to 180 in 8 months by eating olive oil, spinach, rice, steak, and chicken every night while drinking water and protein bars during the day. I just didn’t think about food. I had dying dog and a lot of other things to deal with other than staying a fatty. I know it’s harsh but it’s the truth. My family would constantly tell me I looked sick and to regain weight. Years later, I understand now they just were not used to me being at that weight. Don’t let anybody discourage you. It hurts too don’t aim to be skinny. Once you get to your desired weight according to your height then please eat accordingly and try to put on muscle. Best of luck my friends.

I have been doing intermittent fasting about 16/8. I have also given up coffee as i found caffeine an appetite stimulant.
Green Tea on the other hand tends to dampen hunger pangs.
I have lost weight and the reason i post this comment, is not to brag, but to say that i was a total slave to a diet high in sugar and never imagined that i could have the strength to curtail my appetite, eat healthier and loose weight.
It really is not as difficult as it seems and you will feel so much better.

Had the privilege of time and decided to absolutely devote to building a healthier lifestyle. Went from 40% BPF to around 28% in 3 months through Intermittent Fasting - But also including doing progressive overload hypertrophy training, HIIT circuits, and taking supplements like creatine, omega-3, probiotics, etc.
The one thing I thought was a bit off is that while brown rice does have more vitamins and fiber over white rice, most white rice nowadays have vitamins enriched back into them. It’s certainly better to choose brown, but to say avoid white rice seems unnecessary.

It works in many good ways! You feel more stronger and happier . I feel satisfied and at peace with this practice. My religion always promoted this but never took it seriously. It really help clear out the whole system along with loosening weight . I lost 7 lbs in 1.5 month.. i also did low impact exercise 4 days a weeeks, mostly my lower body as i had central obesity.. I am really happy most of the time.. less allergic incidents. Good GI system, intially it was little unexpected and uncomfortable but now its so organized. I highly advocate for this unless contraindicated by your doctor based on your health situation. 🎉🎉 BTW it makes you look younger and hydrated.

@@ashantic6171 Hey, I never fasted. I ate 5-6 meals a day. You could fast without exercise, but I would recommend you do strength training to prevent muscle atrophy during your fast. It is also important to drink a lot of water during fasting.
In general, I would not recommend intermittent fasting in the first place because there are better and more enjoyable ways to lose weight and still get the same benefits.
Intermittent fasting in my opinion has more disadvantages than benefits, especially if you’re alternating between bulking and cutting.

However this is how I've naturally ate since as long as I can remember..3 years old and up. The times in my life where I worked longer days so ate over a longer period and fasted shorter, was the ONLY time my weight began to climb. It was a temporary work assignment. Once it was over and I reverted back, it was gone in about a month or so. I just sleep 8-9 hrs solid every night and don't have an appetite until afternoon.
