We have a 2022. I like the gray lower part. We had never had camper before….learned by mistakes.😅. We have visited state parks in Mississippi.
Hello Ann, You can always paint your lower bottom and make it look like mine. Took us a while to learn, but now we love it.

It needs to be made clear that the red light on the water heater panel does not stay illuminated when it's operating normally, it's only on during start ups and errors such as not lighting and in the "lockout" mode. That's why so many people don't realize the water heater is on while they are towing.
The switch "on" position is also opposite from almost every rocker switch in the modern world
It was also hard to hear the amount of torque on the lugnuts but it sounds like he's saying 1 pound instead of the normal 90-120 pounds recommended by Dexter Axles.

Just found your channel. Congratulations on your new Casita ! 🎉 I went and picked mine up in 2020 . It was before the mad covid rush . First thing I removed was that 12 volt disconnect. Bought a much better one and put it inside cabinet. I have more tips if you’re interested? . I live in north Marion county, Fl .Thanks for sharing!😁🇺🇸🇺🇸

Anyway, I discovered the one wheel bearing ,Dexter , wasn’t greased very well at all ! Then when I cut an access port hole in my fresh water tank . I use when boon docking. On top of tank to dry it out . Was bits of plastic in tank that was restricting my pump flow . I did buy and add a hitch on back of Casita for bicycle rack. Bought it from Doug Krebs in Texas . Bolts straight to the frame . I’m still using the original battery. I keep my unit plugged in to 30 amp 24/7 in my yard . I put two little dehumidifier’s in it ! Makes a world of difference in this humidity in FL . Also , I did build a cover for it ! Lots of oaks in my yard. Well, hope this helps ya ! Going to watch some of your playlist! 👍👍🇺🇸😁
Oh, forgot one thing ! If you use the impact driver on the scissor jacks . They will fall apart! I didn’t use impact driver and they still broke . Just a heads up !😁👍

Yeah , no weight distribution hitch for me with my Casita . My F150 is plenty huge enough! I do use a sway bar on it though! Helps a little on interstate driving! 😁

Congratulation on your Casita! I’ll pick up my Liberty Deluxe June 17. Too much information on the orientation. Glad you were able to record for future reference. I’ll get the Andersen WDH as well. It doesn’t look too difficult to set up. Happy travels :)
Congratulations, yes the videos are more for future reference because I know once I walked out I was not going to remember any of what was said 😂. The Anderson hitch is an easy setup and I love how it works.

When we picked up our casita from the factory (in the most pro gun state in America), every entrance had a large sign stating that no firearms are allowed on the property.
Made me wonder how many unhappy customers they have had in the past.

Most customers must be happy! They never advertise and sell like hot cakes ! Lol
We considered a wrap to make our casita look like it was made of granite blocks like the Flintstones cartoon home.
Or a travel trailer made of bricks.

All be damned Ocala, Florida only about 30 miles north of me.
See if there is paperwork for the appliances to be completed as they're not built by Casita and might have their own manufacturers warranty and a time limit might exist for the warranty unless you have a warranty with Casita that covers them (fridge, a/c,stove, fans..)
What is the tongue weight?, I have a 2022 chevy colorado, 7000 lbs tow rating, I'd like to not go above 350 lbs on the tongue
Tongue weight is 400 pounds.

Tongue weight should be no more than 10 to 20 % of the max towing weight of the vehicle.
How long was your wait time?
@@g0liath552 from order to pickup was 4 weeks but I asked to extend to 6 weeks and they were ok with it.
