I’m gonna put it out there, I think RVP might be the cleanest striker of a football I’ve ever seen. Sure there are others that have more power (R. Carlos etc) but for pure ball striking technique I think he’s the best. You can notice that although a lot of his strikes fly at great speed he doesn’t over do it with trying to hit the ball he concentrates solely on the connection, the timing and the accuracy. Unreal player

Those last 3 goals are insane, especially number 1. To get yourself in the air like that and bend your body sideways to hit the ball in that position is something we will probably never see again.
Anyone who has ever played football knows how almost impossible that is, it doesnt look that hard until you try to do it yourself.

i’m sorry but for me number one is miles better... the technique required for the second could be pulled off by a premier league striker 1 or 2 times in ten, the first one could only be pulled off by a world class striker

@@mileskenyon i agree it’s more legendary but the actual quality of the goal is not changed in my opinion. Also United were always a going to win that season, so the fact they did it earlier doesn’t change anything for me

That goal vs everton is the most insane, unforgettable goal I've ever seen. The inch perfect assist from Rooney from way outside the midfield line and then the most perfect volley you'll ever see. Receiving the ball from behind, an almost impossible angle. Almost. And he smashes it with mathematical precision. Pythagoras himself would have been speechless. A work of art. They should preserve this in a museum somewhere and make it the 8th wonder of the world.

I learnt how to hit a clean volley from him....all it need is for you to tilt your stance and hit it.....I had a 85% success rate in secondary school with volley(directly through ball from the air not a bounced ball)
