Is not a shame the way he left the club, I say this as an Arsenal fan, when Van persie left the club it was painful for me but I understood his decision and why he took the decision I blame the board of the club at that time they didn’t show ambition to challenge for trophies, they didn’t sign quality players that’s why many great players the likeness of Henry, Fabregas, Nasri, Van Persie and so on left the club , at the end of the day, great players need to win things and if you don’t show ambition they will leave.

Nuno Martins I’ve rewatched the majority of our games from 2011/12 season and he was better than what people think. He lacked end product but created so many chances from the left flank cause he was so good 1v1. The balance in our attack was so good with Gervinho on the left able to go inside and out with pace and dribbling quality, van persie up front with excellent movement and finishing, and Walcott on the right who was able to go in behind and create space for our midfielders. Underrated team
