Unless your kid directly comes to you and say "Mr. X was acting weird today in classroom" you have 0 clue of what they are being shown. And I know that because all my parents know about my time at school is what I told them, in other words a sanitized version of history in which I deliberatelly left out all the Ls and presented only the Ws.
They have no clue for example that my Chemistry teacher spent more time talking with us about Metal Gear and Naruto than actually teaching chemistry. Or that time my Physical Education waged a not so secret prank war with the most undisciplined of the students, one that only ended when we all got fed up with both of them, captured the two and tied them to a post for an entire afternoon.
If your kids don't break the silence, you will never know what's going on in school. The classroom is usually like Vegas - whatever happens there STAYS THERE. All you can do is to teach your kids that is OK to comment on anything out of the usual and pray that they are hiding only what is harmful to their reputation like I did. But in the end It's entirely their choice to speak to you.

My wife became a teacher in order to see what is going on within the school district. In the high school, kids can barely read. She has one student in her second year of HS and will need to repeat AGAIN. Can't talk to the parents because the student is 18+.
My kids are in the preschool to 1st grade range. They are having a hard time getting through books (the 1 inch thick Scholastic grade/age based workbooks you can buy from Walmart) from the previous year. My 1st grader is having a hard time getting through the kindergartener book. I think they are shying away from actually educating our kids. So I am working with my kids to boost them above and beyond their peers. I am planning that by summer's end, they will be doing the next year's book, if not finished with it.

I can't promise it will stay that way but I have told my kids some adults don't have your best interest heart and if anyone makes you uncomfortable no matter who it is a friend, family, or any adult. I'd like to add that a substitute male teacher made her uncomfortable and he ended up getting fired for inappropriate contact with another student because I called the school and reported that the teacher made my child uncomfortable. They did an investigation and another young girl about 11 was being put in a situation she didn't want. There definitely are issues with the sexual pandemic as I call it because I see it at my kids school. It doesn't affect my family personally but that doesn't mean it's not happening.

This man is more than just smug, as several other comments have pointed out, he completely gives up the reason he will not listen to the other two on this safety concern: He does not care. He agrees with gender-transition ideology and would have no problem with it if one of his kids claimed to be 'trans.' It is not that he is unconcerned about teachers creeping on kids, it is that he does not think that transgender grooming is a bad thing.

Also it could be happening in many classrooms, just not your kids teachers. In my high school there were several teachers who were clearly bad actors, one had married a student the second she graduated, another had countless accusations of bad behavior. Both ended up fired for bad shit along with several others over the last 15 years.

Child services are to strained to do much good. Schools do not save kids from abuse at home because it is ignored most (not all) of the time.

The problem with the can't have it both ways is that it is an absolutist argument. The state (and society) very much has an interest in preventing unnecessary physical harm to people (castration, elective surgeries on minors). At the same time, it can also be very much restricted in how much it interferes with the ideology, religion, or values that a parent decides they want to teach their kid. If parents were teaching their kids to strap bombs to themselves and suicide bomb government buildings, I am pretty sure no one in the US would object to a school teacher calling CPS on them. But is a parent refusing to go along with what a school councilor says about their kid's behavior absolutely always a problem? No, that one needs to be handled on a case by case basis. I posit, that in the specific case of a parent chemically castrating a minor, preventing that warrants state intervention. Whereas a parent making their kid wear dresses or not doesn't elevate to the same level given what we do and do not know about what that does to a kid.
