I have a VERY optimistic feeling about Slot.
He's down-to-earth, with big heart energy - like Kloppo and like Liverpool.
He's somewhat of a "dark horse", so expectations won't be overwhelming, which will protect the players from unnecessary pressure.
By all accounts, he's a tactically sound manager, with proven success. His 4-2-3-1 system would suit our current crop of players PERFECTLY.
It's sad to farewell Klopp, but the club is in good hands. An injection of novelty, a fresh approach, new energy, players competing to impress the new boss. Exciting times ahead!

Feyenoord was the best team in their group in the CL Watch the match Atletico Feyenoord then you understand what i mean with learning a team what football is. Arne Slot is an excellent trainer for any top club, including Liverpool. Barcelona, Bayern Munich & Real Madrid would also be nice. Then he can go for the Champions League win. The only thing I don't like about Slot is the idiotic zone coverage of the defense on free kicks & corner kicks, instead of man coverage. As a result, his teams regularly concede goals. A zone can't score a goal, but a man can. Why then cover a zone & not a man? It's that simple. Hopefully Slot will do something with this & change it ❤

@@cowboy8968 As a Feyenoord and Liverpool fan i fully agree with ronald. Slot a great man manager and tactiician. He improved the team immensely when he came in and has preformed very good in de CL (just losing out to Roma and Atletico) with a very limited budget.

I've not really considered Slot as an option for LFC mainly because I didn't know him that well (apart from the Champions League) but he seems to have the right mix of technical prowess, man management ability and charisma. Another Klopp. Amiron didn't convince me. Alonso is who I wanted but if this is who we get, someone who has had success in all his clubs managed so far, then that's a great sign

I trust “the process”…the way Liverpool always research potential candidates on and off the pitch pitch and I have complete confidence that Slot will be the beneficiary of that process together with more than little excitement that Liverpool’s Achilles heel of defensive frailty could also be addressed by the exiting prospect of the new system mentioned by some to be Slot’s style of play.

A reporter reports on events, levels of responsibility & ability remain basically the same though out their careers. Not sure that in a reporters case years of experience would make you senior to any other reporter.

So basically in the case of sport they get far more information from clubs than regular reporters are able or allowed to. This is clearly a Micheal Edwards appointment if it happens. Amorin always felt awkward, he only has played 343, which means us buying all the midfielders last year would had been a waste of money, and with VVD possibly needing replacing, it would mean buying 2 top center backs, we know our american overlords don't like money going to waste.
