  • This Maserati Gran Tursimo was a little quiet from the factory, so we repalaced the rear silencers with straight through pipe to increase the sound and make the car sound more sporty

    The Maserati Granturismo is a 4700 lb LUXURY sports coupe. IMHO if you want loud, get a muscle car or a proper sports car. Noisy isn't refined. Refined luxury isn't the fastest. And I'm OK with that. My Maserati Granturismo convertible 4.7 is my slow sexy car. No burnouts in the parking lot. No drag racing. I have a WS6 for that and did that stuff when I was 22. No rushing to a meeting. My minions will wait for me. As a 43 yo CEO, I chair it now. That's the attitude you should take when you have a Maserati.

      Lol I got 505hp in my Maserati gt with a rear seat Delete, with deleted mufflers, and resonator delete. It also has a tune, better spark plugs, and coil packs... It’s loud and fast. Just because it’s a Maserati doesn’t mean u have to keep it slow and stock mr posh “CEO” 😂 also my car is 3,955lbs after the diet. Lol so get over yourself dude

      @OMGWTFuSUCKimROFLMAO Před 5 lety +2

      @@Bob-Jones69 My 2002 Trans Am WS6 weighed less than 3600 lbs stock - I didn't have to remove anything and at only 335 hp 350 torque stock was louder and faster than my Granturismo for a fraction of the price. For another grand or so worth of suspension upgrades, it handles better than any other car I've driven although somewhat rigid in ride quality. If you're deleting everything you're pretty much destroying the car IMO - there are cheaper and better cars out there to mod with a better aftermarket. To each his own though. I'll keep the Maserati mostly stock and plush and let my WS6 be my loud, rough riding growler. Enjoy it bud.

      I totally agree, a Grand Touring Car is more than just noise. Just purchased a 2008 Maserati GT with 4.2 Liter Engine. Prior owner deleted Center Resonator and Rear Silencers. He installed after market X-Pipe and after market exhaust tips. Car is too loud for driver, passengers, and neighbors. 120 decibels will cause hearing damage.
      Keeping after market X-pipe and installing OEM Axle Back Exhaust System. Aiming for something in between Factory Original and Modified.

    As someone who owns a 2016 Gran Turismo, please leave the factory exhaust alone. It already sounds nice as it is. Sport mode is the button to press when you want to hear the engine/exhaust. Normal mode is what the car should be driven in when in residential areas or areas that are heavily populated with pedestrians.
    Sometimes I use ICE on the highway or in residential areas to keep the RPMS low as to not disturb the peasantry.

    • @MrCaterhamr500
      @MrCaterhamr500 Před měsícem

      The sport button doesn’t change the exhaust in the 4.2, only the 4.7.

    So you want to make this car loud like a Lamborghini? For what purpose? Everyone knows that it has a small engine. Bentley and Rolls Rolls Royce have more powerful engines but are not loud. If a small dog barks louder, it won’t impress, it will just annoy

    I has 2011 4.7 litter Granturismo
    But sound and look , 90 percent it’s neck breakers .
    It happened at traffic light , cheap Honda Civic sup up . And ask me do i want race ? And i said just got my license today . One more time it’s slow as fook
