My widebody Liberty Walk Maserati has had a huge amounts of modifications. But there is one modification i have always thought about doing and that is a straight pipe. The Maseratis's are known for the Ferrari sound they leave behind them and i was hoping to make this known by installing a straight pipe exhaust system. It sounded amazing but that was for about 1 day before it was involved in an accident!

I'm unfamilliar with UK rules. What happens if they don't? Does he have to take them to court if they won't pay the repairs?
@@Jeren6924 If they don't pay for damages directly, Matt can claim on his own insurance, since it wasn't his fault the insurance company might try to take the owner of the car wash to court. Usually these type of car wash are run by Eastern Europeans and can be money laundering fronts so no suprises if the car wash dissapears. If the insurance company cannot recover the cost of repair then Matt may have to pay insurance excess.

He could contact the motor insurers bureau and claim compensation through them. Matt doesn't necessarily need to go through his insurance.

The Maserati is a blast, whether 4.2 or 4.7 ... it is the epitome of a culture with the most beautiful V8 sound that we will never have in the future! That sounded so good with no exhaust lol and as always it makes life a little easier with Liam lending a arm,3 hands gotta be better than two.plus that car just gets better looking each time it's featured so does the colour. 👍

I own one of these Maserati's, in a cobalt blue, carbon fibre rims, and kept the body stock with only addition being skirts, diffusers, and modifications to improve engine output and performance drivability...love the natural sound and exhaust tones!

To keep from breaking exhaust bolts and O2 sensors you have to make sure they are as cold as possible. You can spray them with brake cleaner and compressed air to cool them off (though I wouldn't use that method on sensors unless you plan on replacing them)
I like the title. Makes it sound like he's gone and binned it round a tree. When actually it gets bumped into by a van rolling back at the petrol station 😂! Very convenient

Happy New year Mat, o and Hannah, January 4 was not a good day to start the new year for me, some one decided to be in the wrong lane and braked me.... bumper and bonnet gone to the great scrapyard in the sky..... so the pair of us got new years luck, still no one was hurt and they can be repaired.

Mate had a quattroporte with a 4.2 V8 straight piped. Sounded insane. Unfortunately too loud though to fire up in a quiet residential estate at 5am for work every day though
Gutted to see the Maserati damaged. Good job its not too bad.
The GRP damage is fixable without a doubt but make sure its done properly so there are no stress cracks later.
