      Steve could build a manifold, but he wanted to use parts with a proven record and development to get the best out of his engine setup. Aside from that it would likely be better to outsource this work whilst they focused on their more day to day work which their workshop is setup for.

    Sounds like A high revving bike as f**k N/A inline 4! insane! Need this on my 2jz swap E90. I'm also working on a ZF 8 hp gearbox and ford 8.8 rear end conversion. All while maintaining an electric 12V air-con system, and keeping a lot of the interiors and sound-proofing.

    Incredible craftsmanship and exhaust design, I’ve read about this car before but it’s the first time actually seeing how it’s all put together and always wondered how one would respond to an updated turbo system. Now if only we can see the rest of the project wherever it may be, assuming another workshop is doing that.

    bit late but did you ever get to work out how to get it to build boost statically? also i notice now turbosmart makes an eletronic version of the antilag valve, any experience with it yet?

    Would you say it’s physically the same size as the Garrett g30-770? It looks pretty huge! 😮

      Its similar in size, the 770 has a smaller compressor outlet that make its a little more compact.

      @@WaltonMotorsportThere aren’t any graphs on these new Turbosmart turbos so would you say what the hp rating is on this? I would also want to know how the power/torque curve is. Is this more like the Garrett g30-900 or more like the g30-770? So this has a 3” compressor outlet not a 2.5” outlet the g30-770 has?

    Same exact model I bought today. I’ve been waiting for the ts2 6262 vband .82 a/r and Turbosmart USA just literally received two today and they hadn’t even put it their website. I purchased it immediately so I can secure it for my 2018 Honda Civic Type R (assembled in Swindon UK 🇬🇧) FK8 build. What platform is this going on?

      Probably a K20/K24 engine, we just got it from a product design point of view initially. One of my colleagues is fitting the TS2 version to his EJ20 Impreza very soon.

      @@WaltonMotorsport 😎 I once dropped a shaft with the wheel on it and bent a couple of fins. That’s why I get anxious every time I see a potential drop. LoL. Iv just edited this to say, sods law is......now Iv mentioned a drop, plz don’t drop it whilst doing the install. BE EXTRA CARFUL. 😂

      This one is rated to 800hp, but this of course depends on the rest of the setup as to what its likely to acheive. Drop use a message with some specs etc so see what would suit you well.

    So you want to make this car loud like a Lamborghini? For what purpose? Everyone knows that it has a small engine. Bentley and Rolls Rolls Royce have more powerful engines but are not loud. If a small dog barks louder, it won’t impress, it will just annoy

    Someone told me that a 8-4-2-1 exhaust header collector would produce a very similar sound. Without some of the packaging issues. Is there any truth to this?

    As someone who owns a 2016 Gran Turismo, please leave the factory exhaust alone. It already sounds nice as it is. Sport mode is the button to press when you want to hear the engine/exhaust. Normal mode is what the car should be driven in when in residential areas or areas that are heavily populated with pedestrians. Sometimes I use ICE on the highway or in residential areas to keep the RPMS low as to not disturb the peasantry.

      The sport button doesn’t change the exhaust in the 4.2, only the 4.7.

    Not to manipulate the hard and nice work put into the car. But wouldn't it be better to remove the wastegate? If planning to put a anti lag valve on the exhaust manifold? The goal is to keep the turbo spinning, waste gates just dump the pressure out and bypass the turbo to spin it down.

      I understand what your thinking is, but you still need to control the turbo in the same way as a non anti lag setup because the anti-lag is only active off throttle.

    using this system you go to throw air directly into the exhaust, then the ecu must manage the fuel. but it must be remembered that once air is let into the exhaust manifold, the AFR will be leaner even if the engine is running with a correct AFR. how do you deal with this kind of problem? because if you analyze that the combustion and therefore the air \fuel ratio in the combustion chamber is correct, the lambda takes into account the exhaust gases in the downpipe, not knowing that there is a connected Als which bypasses the air in the exhaust manifold ducts, consequently yes it will have a leaner afr, and you cannot inject more fuel, because this air does not participate in the combustion...

    What has to happen with the o2 sensors? There would be no way to look at o2’s from each bank because they don’t merge. Just put a sensor in one primary from each bank and hope the other 3 injectors don’t go bad?

      Either monitor the engine as a whole with 1 sensor, or run 1 sensor per primary pipe to measure each cylinder.

      It will not be as good as single round pipe due to the Y pieces, and more wall surface area. That car made good power though.

    Hey, i guess im a bit late but these are the best videos of fresh air antilag ive found.... so question what ignition angle are you using and how much more additional fuel? I have a antilag project in process and sofar im just getting one loud pop and then its not spooling the turbo and my guess my ignition and fuel enrichment perentage or off.

      We only make the hardware and leave the tuning to professionals so Im not able to answer those questions I am afraid.

      @@maikelniessen6621 if you need to ask it's not wise you do it yourself. Anti lag usually requires aggressive ignition timing and if not careful you can damage your engine.
