I feel, all things considered, both people behaved relatively reasonably. Her questionable behavior was based around doing what he told her to do combined with the fact he didn't want kids. His behavior is reasonable because he had trauma. If there was an update saying that he was putting in the work so his trauma didn't impact him so severely, then i would really stand by my view. If he doesn't get help, then his behavior isn't reasonable anymore.

The guy is a massive piece of shit. He lied to her, when breaking up. Used her as a piece of meat after second break up and then ran back to the other woman again and proposed to her. And after that massive knife in his ex's back had audacity to want to be part of her life.
Tbf, he did say he didn’t want children. And also told her to not contact him unless she was dying about a week after they last hooked up. To her, it probably seemed like he not only didn’t want to talk to her anymore, but probably especially now that he had kids. Especially since that was the reason he broke it off with her in the first place. If anything, she didn’t say anything to help him.
Also, she probably had no intention to lie to him if he asked. But probably had no intention to share that information for no reason. She also never asked for any money and was going to let the baby know about his father, and to tell them he wasn’t a deadbeat (which was his fear)… Idk. I don’t think she did anything wrong by not telling him since she would know him better than we do.
While I feel it would have been best to tell him, she also did what she thought was best. And was probably worried that he’d be mad she he explicitly told her not to call him, and she was having a kid, which he didn’t want so much that he broke up with her because she eventually wanted them…

Was he in the wrong telling her to not contact him only if she's dying? Of course, yes. Was she in the wrong not telling the guy that he will be a fater? Of course yes again. Imagine if the cousin didn't find out. Imagine the pain finding out 20-30 years later. Let's try to be objective with these type of things, no matter the consequences. These things should never be hidden.

She didn't want to hold him back, often times a man that doesn't want the woman isn't going to want the child and if the man does want the child the man's new woman isn't going to want the child.
