Been waiting for a video of this process. Thanks bro.
What are the screws called underneath the wheel called please? Your car is perfect
I've noticed that on some headlights like the oem ones with the eyelids (black cover inside lens) is covering the top part of the outer ring lol, looked wierd to me when i saw the reflection today when i was parked infront of a glass door, i had to look up videos it wasnt just my car lol
Nice Car Bro!
Nice car homie
Where’d u connect the yellow and black wire from the drivers. Confused on my set
Hi. Where can I buy them in South Africa
Neat, thanks.
Awesome video 🇧🇷🇧🇷👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks!
hey! i have the same front splitters on my e90 but i was wondering where you got the front lip, the splitter and lip combo looks sick !
It was from a seller on ebay but they don't sell them anymore and i cant find an alternative. Mine has gotten pretty beat up over the last few years with it lol. I think I found a carbon fiber one with the same design that I might try out
Great looking e90. Please link to your front bumper lower lip? Looking beautiful!
Thanks! Unfortunately though, that lip is unavailable and I can’t find it anywhere else👎 I am looking for a new one though cause I damaged it too much lol
What kind of glue do you need for the angel eyes? I’m going to do mine myself
the guy who did mine just used double sided tape. That way you could easily remove them if you wanted to in the future.
Hi,
Do you know the size of the led rings
Great video.
@HallenBMW I'm thinking of replacing just the lenses on my Pre Lci e90 with OEM Xenons. Do you think this would be a straight forward fairly simple replacement for a first timer or do you recommend someone that's in the San Diego area or you possibly? I can pay you for your time and for materials or is it something best left to professionals. I won't be painting or retrofitting anything maybe smoke the boomerang shaped amber with vinyl but that's it.
The only hard part is getting the lens off since it has the factory glue. Once you get pass that it’s easy, you could just follow what I do in the video. I think you could it yourself if you’re good with tools. Id be willing to do it for you but Just know I haven’t had to remove a lens with factory glue still. It would be my first time but I am willing to try though. If you’re not comfortable doing it yourself, I would see if you could find someone who’s more experienced than me since I wouldn’t consider myself a professional.
Where did you get the rings? I have seen that there are a lot of different ones. Wich ones are those exactly?
Theyre from Bavgruppe Designs, I have them linked in the description "Custom Angel Eye Rings"
I can’t really tell in the video when you were disassembling the lights, but do you have an eyebrow delete in them? Or is the eyebrow part of that shroud that is screwed on to the lense?
I have the eyebrow. Its screwed into the lens. It was also painted satin black to match the rest of the housing
What is outer angle eye ring mounted to exactly? The existing rings?
It’s mounted to the stock angel eye ring. But the stock ring is painted over in stain black to match with the rest of the housing.
Hello, curious why not put in oven to soften sealant faster?
Ive heard it can damage the internal components. Heat gun would be better to prevent that issue
Who did the them originally and where can I get the info I didn’t see it in your description
@EvilHeadlights on Instagram. He’s in Riverside, CA
i think you should try to do a light ting on your rear tailights to see how it contrasts with the paint. i think because the paint is a dark colour it will look good
Taillight tint?
@@InlineSixAuto oh yeah. that’s what i meant
@@saihaan2831 I honestly never really liked tinted taillights. But maybe I'll try out a light tint on them
How you paint black over the leds corner? How you do it?
I couldn't tell you. I had a professional do it
Do you know if I can buy the black piece that covers the wires? I’d rather buy a replacement than paint mine
I don't think so. I haven't seen that piece available by itself before.
Any link to the person who did the custom retrofit build for the headlights?
He’s @evilheadlights on Instagram.
Are those black led corners from bav too?
Which ones?
Where did you order the headlight lens

Do the lenses come as a pair from bab gruppes or as single ?
as a pair
what color is this e90? repainted or stock? code?
Barbera Red Metallic and yes its the factory color. Color code is A39
How has the seal held up almost a year later?
Thanks in advance!
Its still doing great. There have a been a couple times where condensation formed inside when I would wash my car but that's it. Its only happened 2 times since I did this work.
@@InlineSixAuto so i’m experiencing the exact same issue, what did you do to get rid of the condensation inside?
@@diesel.bimmer I still get condensation inside sometimes. I havent been able to find a solution for it. I would think the only thing to do would be to reseal it but I don't want to go this whole process again lol
@@InlineSixAuto yeah same here. i built my headlights and they look amazing but it snowed the other day and my pass headlight had condensation inside and damaged my headlight turn signal too. Whenever it warms up, it goes away but whenever it gets cold outside and wet, itll fog up.
Looks quite easy is it though?
No. If you prying the lenses off for the very first time with the factory seal.
Took 3 hrs to change 1.....
It’s condensation ur lights arnt sealed correctly
I wasn't condensation. I would get condensation and it evaporate eventually. But this remained for months. And when I finally got the lenses off, it wouldn't come off when I tried to wipe it off. It was caked/dried onto the inside of the lens.
I need cover (lenses)
This method doesn’t work on OEM lights
The only difference is it’s harder to break the factory seal if you do it for the first time.
@@InlineSixAutoNo not true You have to use a dremel to cut plastic around the headlight And THEN use your method
