They lingered on him afterwards, and you clearly hear a life-support beep coming from the module on his chest. Not only that too, but his species has multiple hearts, something you can look up on Star Wars fandom and wiki's. I'd be willing to bet he's coming back.

I was expecting him to die, just not so soon. They just introduced him in the show & it's his 1st live action appearance. I was like, sheesh let him stick around a bit 1st, then kill him.
All the Live Action only SW fans barely got a taste of him.
Though I guess he was suppose to die way earlier anyway, so I guess it's a Han Solo situation again.
For those who don't know, Han was originally suppose to die in Empire. Ford certainly felt that way. After living longer than planned, they immediately kill him off in TFA. So, I see the similarities here.

Yeah, like I was looking forward to him potentially becoming a recurring character in future seasons of the book of boba fett (if there is gonna be any) and he could maybe come back, looking for revenge on boba, but this isn’t the first time we’ve seen a prequels villain reappear and then immediately die (cough cough, darth maul)
As someone who only watched the Book of Boba Fett through recaps this feels like forced fan service and horrible executed stuff and idk if I actually want to watch it

Not true. He's a great villain, but he's not like Negan from Walking Dead for example where you hope he never dies. Cad is one of those villains that you admire because of how evil he is, but personally I looked forward to the day he finally dies, and that day arrived. I think it was a well-timed death because of how much of him we got in TCW-Bad Batch, doesn't matter if this was his first live-action depiction, it was a long-time coming for him. Personally I would've preferred it if Ahsoka and/or Luke killed him had they've had a reason to be there.

There is plenty of space b/w Bad Batch and A New Hope for him to appear as his younger self. He has a history with Obi-wan, so fair bet he appears in the Kenobi show.

Bane is 100%not dead. The camera focused on his beeping chest rig twice during the episode, and Robert is smart, he wouldn’t do that for no reason if it wasn’t important.
The beeping only began after his apparent death. Not saying anything’s guaranteed, but the beeping could easily be explained as his chest rig recognizing that something is wrong.

I actually like the idea that a lot of characters from the Star Wars universe end up dying in short skirmishes that could happen everyday, but it just so happens that they were on the receiving end that one unlucky time. It makes the huge risk of death seem all the more real (which we could use after the whole cloning Palpatine shit), and it also gets away from this mentality I hate where every character a fanbase loves, should they die, has to have a mega blow-up sacrifice like Russel in Independence Day. I actually loved the fact that Han and Luke had endings in VII and VIII because throughout the first two it keeps me on the edge knowing anything could happen to anybody in those movies no matter how much I remembered them from before. Then IX fucks everything up.
i guess for me its kinda disapointing because, i watched the clone wars, i of course, know who cad bane is, my parents on the otherhand, do not and dont know who he is, i dont object to seeing him die, i just wish we had more time with him
@@r3ktl3ss20 I think those stories have already been told, we just haven't seen them yet. Like in the original EU, there were many character deaths that would seem underwhelming and "meh" to some if you didn't ready the prior books. Granted I do think individual stories should be able to stand on their own, and even as a person who follows a bunch of stuff I do think that's the better thing to do, BUT isolated alone, Cad serves his purpose in being a thematic conclusion to Boba in Season 1. The foil to Boba is defeated by Fett, and through his alliances and new friendships, he saves his town from a colonizing crime syndicate.
I agree, it was a bit sad to see him go because of how powerful he was to the audience watching The Clone Wars. For me, he is my favorite bounty hunter in all of Star Wars. But you're right the whole cloning in Rise of Skywalker undoes much of what happened in all of Star Wars so Bane dying in this series I'm not opposed to. I think we should have gotten that story in the 7th season of The Clone Wars with Cad and Bobba, it would have made his death more powerful but who knows he may be alive (though for me I don't think that's true.) I am pretty sure that we will see him again somewhere in the Star Wars timeline, whether his own series or somewhere else down the line before Bobba Fett's finale.
I really liked the show, it probably should have been longer and put more on Bobba Fett's morals and why he wants to be ruler of Mos Espa but I enjoyed every minute of it. When you have a huge universe of movies and series created by different people you are going to have some things that arent as good as the others but I think that makes Star Wars better.
I got into Star Wars when I was 3 years old watching The Clone Wars and it was a gateway to some of the coolest creations in media. I don't really see the hate for the show but for some people they just have to take the good with the bad.

So far boba, fennec and cobb vanth Have all been supposedly dead only to have them come back from the dead, also cobb vanth's death would have made cad banes introduction way more badass and intimidating but no instead of hinting on cad bane still being alive we get another generic human with a crappy design
Anyone who watched clone wars knows he's not dead. Cad is the kind of character who always finds his way out of any situation. I'd be surprised to learn he wont come back in a later series.
From what i remember he once escaped a seperatist ship by wearing the armour of a clone he killed (who in the early seasons was practically rexes second in command), escaped with the elite squad that tried to kill him in a cramped starship - which also had captain rex, ashoka and anikan skywalker who didnt know better.
Then ashoka only recognised cad when they got onboared a republican cruiser, cad made a run for it to the nearest starfighter, started it up and hyperjumped out of there.
To say he is a bit slippery is an understatement.
Gotta love Star Wars, killing all the coolest characters as soon as they get introduced. (Maul, General Grivous, moff tarkin, etc) and if you want see more of them, The Clone Wars show is the show for you!
Dooku didn't die right when he appeared he died an episode later
Maul goes thru clone wars and dies in rebels, two shows that show and complete his story.
He dies knowing that his revenge will take place not by him, but the chosen one.

I think they should have maybe made the show a few episodes longer and have introduced Cad Bane earlier, having him be a recurring rival and antagonistic force to Boba.
Imagine if he was there, taunting him about how he's gotten soft and up-ending his plans at every turn while also trying to convince him to join him; a dark reflection of what Boba could become if he had continued going down the path of a ruthless bounty hunter whose only allegiance is to the client with the deepest pockets. It would have really made their final confrontation much more dramatic and would have made his death much more thematically purposeful, and satisfying.

I wouldn't be as upset over his death, if they just introduced him a little early and gave us more build up. Why introduce him at the end of episode 6 and kill him off half way through episode 7? That's stupid. If you have to kill him in the end, at least introduce Cad Bane in episode 4.

I was upset at first, but this is honestly a fitting end to Cad Bane and a good time too since he's of an era long since passed and it's his time. And I can't imagine anyone better than Boba Fett to finish off his predecessor.

Just horrible and then you got Rey. "Ight, I'm a Skywalker". Yeah no proper explanation and plus no training at all, oh also having Palpatine return was just a thing to try and get people to watch the film. Dude comes back after so long and then dies, honestly that was just a kick to the balls for Darth Vader/Anakin. He killed Palpatine for nothing and died for nothing and it was just pointless for the return as well.
Ight now I demand a return for Anakin, if Disney clearly doesn't care for the older films and can whip out random dead characters from their ass, with no proper explanation then they can bring back Anakin with no questions asked.

Star Wars has a history of bringing in really cool characters then killing them off right away, or at least trying to. (jango fett, boba fett, general grievous, darth maul) I would still be kinda surprised if cad bane shows up again but not that surprised either

Here’s what I’m gonna say. He’s probably not dead, since his things were beeping and his species have multiple hearts. Also, so what if he died? The last time we saw him was bad batch and we thought he was dead before that. We can still see what he’s done since the bad batch and up past the original trilogy all the way to book of boba.

If he isn’t dead it will be kinda funny. That will be twice where Boba has ‘killed’ Cad Bane only for him to come back because he always has some sort of countermeasure.
If anything they could have showed CAD Bane killing the Tuskens

Cad Bane should have been the villain from the start. Having him show up earlier on and him responsible for killing the tuskans. If you didn't already know the character, him showing up would have been so underwhelming. They made him look super important only to kill him in the next episode. So the new fans would have just thought, "whos this guy, never mind hes dead already, can't have been important"
Well, it’s Star Wars…. Anything short of a mortal kombat death on screen doesn’t mean they are actually dead for good.
It was a poetic death and I was expecting it. However, I wish we could’ve seen more of Cad Bane

@@noahhorinek doesn't matter. If they were going to have Boba kill him, Bane should have been the primary antagonist of the show. Or at least he should have had more screentime then 10 minutes.
