Thanks so much for this! You remind me of my mom teaching me her moms recipes
You are welcome! I learned a lot from my mom in the kitchen as well! Thanks for stopping by my channel. đ©·
I love pickled beets and to save money I buy a can of regular unflavored sliced beets, then empty into a jar and add some apple cider vinegar and put in the fridge. Overnight I have fantastic tasting beets cheaper than buying them in the store.
Great idea! Thanks for stopping by my channel.
Thanks for sharing your quick beet recipe.
My bigmama used to do this with store bought beets. She would use the juice in the jar and add vinegar and sugar to taste. She would heat the juice to dissolve the sugar, let it cool then pour it back in the jar with the beets and put it in the refrigerator.... So good đ.
That sounds delicious! Thanks for stopping by the channel.
Love pickled beats!! Those look good, thanks for sharing the recipe!
Thanks Jeff! Happy gardening.
Hi Tracey đ I didn't know we could pickle beets that way. Will have to try it. I didn't even know there were different colored beets. I learned some good stuff here!
Thanks Roland. Sadly - after a day in the fridge the detroit reds dominated and all the beets turned pink. They were still delicious!
Looks good. Think I'm going to try your recipe.
