Been debating getting a plunger for a while....which I don't NEED because I have the launch button, but I think you have convinced me.
I bought this one just the past month from virtuapin and it has its flaws , mine constantly loses connection and you have to unplug and plug the usb for it to reconnect. I am just warning you
@@mrbigdaddykool7648 great....it has already been shipped. Returning it if that's the case
not having a plunger on a pinball machine dont feel like a pinball machine to me plunger is a must to have
@@mrbigdaddykool7648 turns out that is because of the USB cable. Saw a post where a USB cable that shields it solves that problem
It's called a USB with ferrite choke
Hey Major great video as always. Just bought this - followed directions nut now it looks like I have to remap all my buttons. Anyone else have this problem?
eg: right flipper is now coin, no start button. So it looks like this board screwed up my settings.
Yes, same issue. I had to check override default layout in the vp9 keys to get to back to normal. The nudge works but the plunger don't. I know I have something right because it works in future pinball fine.
I just set mine up and it works great for future pinball but I can't get it to work in VP9. The nudge works in VP9 but not the plunger. I tried multiple tables. I'm pretty sure I set it up correctly as it work in future pinball. Am I missing something with the key set up in VP9?
Is there a way to set this up using windows 10? I was reading through the forums and from what I gathered you have to use the configuration tool strictly in windows 7 both to update the firmware and setup the plunger. Is there a work around that you know of?
No, most people nowadays have windows 10. Works flawlessly
@@MajorFrenchy I must be doing something wrong then. When I load the configuration tool it comes up just fine and I can navigate around but I am unable to click any buttons like save config. I tried changing settings and saving but when I reload the programs they are all at default. Also when I check the firmware update it tells me to update from the bottom up but there are no buttons that allow me to download or install the new firmware. Thanks for the super fast reply by the way .
Which software are you trying to configure?

Hi major Frenchy , question does it matter which way the kl25z board is facing ??
Look at rhe guide section" Positioning the KL25Z
mjrnet.org/pinscape/BuildGuideV2/BuildGuide.php?sid=nudge
VP 9 and 10 do not recognize the plunger but it does the buttons no matter what setting I used. :(
did you enable the plunger in the vpx settings?mjrnet.org/pinscape/BuildGuideV2/BuildGuide.php?sid=plungerSetup
So I assume you don't need separate nudge buttons with this kit?
that's correct. there is an accelerometer built in and you can just push the table to nudge
Really want to know how do we set it up so if we nudge the table too hard i
the game will tilt like a real one , really want this feature - is this possible?
yes you can, you set the intensity in the Visual pinball settings.
@@MajorFrenchy no probs cheers whats the best figure so it acts like a real pinball or is each table different ?
Where can i het a plunger????????????

I've heard the virtuapin digital plunger kit works fine only 20% of the time. That you constantly need to recalibrate? Is that true? I've also heard that the zebsboards kit works better
It is difficult to put a % bit it has it's issues. When it works it is awesome, but when it starts acting up, it's a real pain . Sometimes the reset button won't even work, you have to unplug and re-connect. We will swap it for a home made one using an Arduino or a pinscape board .
@@MajorFrenchy Awesome! Thanks for your fast response. Please upload a video when you change it so we can follow the results!
@@MajorFrenchy I heard nailbuster figured out a cheap way to do it with a mouse. I haven't tried it yet. www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=38064
