I would have never known who he was had he been on SNL I wouldn't have ever watched the show. But because he got fired and it became a thing, he had something interesting attached to him. Blew him up.

It’s truly beautiful how things work out. Shane is literally my favorite comedian at the moment because he’s just genuinely funny from standup to pretty much every podcast. I feel like SNL would have made him conform to that type of comedy and they would have taken away what really makes him funny for most people.
