I’ll be calling a winner in my next video. If you’ve been replied to in the comments already don’t respond! Bots and scammers are down in the comments.
I've been using super clean on engine bays for over 13 years. It's such a great product to get the grime off, and has never messed up any electrical components. Great work!
I'm nervous to use it on Painted surfaces I've done some calipers and they rusted afterwards
@@jeffreyshepherd8488
If you look at the gallon jugs, they have the dilution ratios for different surfaces.
Engine cleaning is full concentration, but paint is thinner from what I remember.
Looks great man! Engine bay cleaning is like scratching a good itch
1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z. Full teardown and a rebuild with new paint, a 6.0LS, and a T-56. Using all the goodies from a 2002 Z-28 as well! Another great video, Matt!!! Thanks for the content!!
Looks amazing 2012 escalade & 1989 Camaro
Thank you
Working on my new 2005 GMC Yukon XL denali. Has 250,000 miles and going strong. Love your channel.
Working on a Magnum F conversion in my 85 IROC and making the 05 Escalade EXT less filthy and road worthy. I love this truck. Im here in the Kansas City area. Your videos over the last few years really have been a helpful inspiration... got my IROC project moving after sitting on jack stands for 10 years.
No shake the disease on your dm playlist??? Or the forest even though its the cure…….although you got some pretty good hits on there…….gen X ….the best generation ever
Yeah I didn't really build my Playlist on here very well.
@trentdawg2832 just saw DM live back in October.. was amazing.
Been working on a few cars, but i bought my nephew his first car, 08 Chevy Cobalt LS, and it needs some serious help. But figured it was a good start for a young man who wanted a manual, and whose parents couldn't help him at all. He's a good kid with some spectrum tendencies, but he is an apprenticeship to be a mechanic.
This is a great project I can help him fix, between blow by from the 200k motor, a warn clutch system, and some major cleaning needed as it sat for 4 months under a tree, it has been a great project to help him with, and help guide him to think out of the box when things don't go as planned. (Like an snapped bolt while replacing the passanger control arm.)
Love me the junk yard trips and hopefully getting him to learn to love them too.
Working on my 03 Tahoe and it needs Super Clean!!!
I'm currently fixing up a 2001 GMC Sierra that I picked up to be a utility beater.
It promptly took on a life of it's own, as it's such a grimy filthy mess.
Amusingly, I just bought a couple bottles of Super Clean on Thursday, as I've used it in the past but misplaced the jug when I moved.
Love this channel, love super clean!!! Looking forward to more 3rd gen firebird stuff. My grandson and I are just now starting an 4.8 ls 4l60e swap s10.
Working on a Cobalt and a Mercury Mariner, Super Clean would be awesome to use on them lol
Working on a quad cab long bed "The Boat" as it were with the 8.1 2500HD dont see many of them around anymore!
Love the content, keep 'em coming whatever you got to do to keep from burning out on the other cars
Working on 2007 tahoe my wife has 2005 tahoe this college vehicle wife love her tahoe thank you for your channel keep it going many blessings to you and your family
Het Matt, thanks for the video. It has inspired me to get out and clean up my 2006 Silverado. I've owned it since 2010 and have slowly been fixing up issues recently. I got it back on the road last winter after replacing all the brake lines, which sucked by the way. It had been out of service since 2019 when I lost those brakes. I have still have some front end suspension parts I will be fixing soon, so a clean work area is much more enjoyable when doing those things. I always look forward to your videos. Keep up the good work!
Im working on my 04 z71 Tahoe. Got mine a little after Tahiti. The efans swap and brake upgrade have been so nice. Ive kept it all factory and thats a first for me. Such an enjoyable vehicle to keep factory
I’ll have to try that on my 02 Z28’s undercarriage. Oil and grime all over that thing.
I’m in need of more degreaser! Going to be cleaning and coating my whole frame soon on my 03 silverado
good work for sure, did car washing for 8 years! engine abys are the tricky bits, working on 2011 silverado mid travel prerunner tank build.
I'm actually working on my IROC, which I'm doing an LS swap in. I started it close to 15 years ago, but life got in the way. I'm back onto it now, and your thirdgen videos have been a big inspiration! Keep it up!
Working on a 2011 GMC Sierra 4.8 that has been oil protected and is filthy in the engine bay!
I've been working on a 2002 Chevy silverado first truck and your content of the tahoe gave me tones of confidence in working on my truck. I even did the 2007 and newer tahoe brakes on it too thanks to your videos
I like your Escalade content! Keep em coming👌🏼
Super clean looks like it works great! I got a janky 02 sierra im currently fixing up slowly.
Working on the 79TA project...seems like forever!
Working on my 2004 GMC Yukon XL. Just finished the oil pan gasket and going to do the valve cover gaskets next. Gave it a quick clean before I started working on it and plan on doing an engine bay detail when I’m done.
2013 Tahoe LTZ. Super Clean is strong but works so well. Never had any issues with it.
Working on my 85 z28 and a few others here and there. My 2017 Silverado really needs some attention in this area.. Thanks for the inspiration!
I am doing a 2010 Cadillac ESV, Just did all the same repairs and fixes as you. but I just got hit with the collapsed lifter. Oooof. It cost me a chunk. but I did a Texas speed cam swap for stage 2 truck cam and new lifters and dod delete. I am down to super clean and paint correction as well. I am excited to see how this comes out. thanks Matt!!
Ironically... working on a GMT900 Suburban. Just replaced the transmission lines, and bypassed the oil cooler. Power steering pump and lines are next on the list.
I’m currently working on my new to me 79 Malibu and it’s filthy! Under hood isn’t too bad but with no AC, the seats are stained with decades of sweaty ass marks and I could definitely use some help! Enjoying the content Matt, even if it’s not F body related as much as it used to be.
Working on a 1992 Four Winns Candia deck boat with a period correct 5.0 Ford engine. The engine could use a good detail job. 30+ years old and she still purrs like a kitten. Towed around by my 2005 Silverado with 235k miles on it.
Love your channel. I'm working on my 88 Iroc. Slowly but surely getting it how I want it.
Can't wait for the interior cleaning still! That is how i found your channel, when you did tahiti!
Always working on our family hauler, 2008 Escalade that scoots the wife and four kiddos around like a tank. Going to be doing the water pump, door handles inside and out, and power lock actuators to make sure the wife continues to have a problem free ride.
Working on a 2003 tahoe z71 with 90k miles and 2001 silverado z71 with 53k miles currently doing minor restorations to keep them fresh and clean.
I buy super clean by the gallon. The last project I did was I bought some used GMT 800 floor mats off of craigslist for my 2003 Tahoe that were in bad shape and soaked them in super clean and power washed them. They look amazing! It’s good stuff!
I'm old enough when it used to be called Castrol Super Clean. Haven't used it in years but I recall as a kid using it on all kinds of things me and my dad and my brother were working on. Great memories. Only thing I'm working on is the daily driver, 2010 Chevy Equinox LTZ. The cars I used to use it on included a '66 Corvette before it was restored, my '66 GTO as we put it back on the road, my '88 Formula 350. I remember using it on the TPI engine before we had to replace a head gasket.
Love it man! Always can't wait for the videos from you!
@IsXmatt Appreciate that!!! But I don't need anything other than more vids from you my dood! I am sure there are more people out there better deserving of the giveaway.
I got a 2012 Yukon Denali with 188k miles, drives like a champ. I like to ceramic coat the black pieces in the engine bay
The results speak for themselves. Nice outcome.
@IsXmatt So I won some Super Clean products?
Working on an 87 trans am. LS1 swap with a 4l80e.
Got a 2002 corvette but working on getting my 05 4Runner cleaned up and up to my standard!
Working on my 2000 Chevy blazer. Super clean is the best!
I'm working on an 88 Firebird Formula 350 and funny enough, cleaning and detailing the engine bay....
@IsXmatt That is so awesome! Thank you so much! I don't have an Instagram account. Is there another way I can send you my deets privately? I don't mind posting my gmail here if that works?
I’m working on a 2012 Z71 Suburban - adding Fox Coil overs and 33” tires. Also, working on a 6.0 swap for my 2004 GMS Sierra 4WD - 5.3 is past its prime.
Hey Matt, love the vids. I’m working on a black 91 Z28 with my daughter…it’ll be her first car when she turns 16….we love going for drives in that car
Working on a 94 c1500, blew up the old tbi and I'm throwing together a lq4 to get her up and running again. Hopefully before the year ends
Working on my escalade always finding little things to make it better 2nd gen have so many cool mods!
Iv never tried Super Clean. I'm working on a 2010 Canyon with a factory 5.3 LS. Hook a guy up and I'll make a video thanking you and them as well!
Love your content keep it rocking Matt
I use Super Clean all the time. I get the gallon jugs and mix it for whatever I need it for. I use in on the tires (diluted) and wheels. The wife uses it for household cleaning too. Bathroom, kitchen etc. Great stuff
Currently working on my 03 Avalanche for an upcoming road trip to Chicago. Did a water pump recently just to be safe
Working on my 04 Tahoe z71, never detailed the engine looking to do it, great video
2005 Chevy Corvette - Built LS3, Full LS9 swap with a Kong 2650 blower - and about to tear it apart for a Haltech ECU.
Good job. I've got an 05 YukonXL owned since new, kept pretty clean with just a pressure washer rinse. It looks like that could be diluted. I'll give it a try. You probably shouldn't be breathing it in though.
I’m in the process of swapping my 96 sierra with 6.0 and I’m definitely using super came out great
My 240k mile Silverado could really use a date with Super Clean. I've heard great things!
Finally upgrading my brakes on my 05 Tahoe to the gmt 900 brakes.
Working on a 2003 4x4 gmc sierra 2500hd 8.1… got the new leather for it waiting on the carpet before doing the seats..
Only got as far as cleaning wheels this weekend. Hopefully the GM fleet will get a good cleaning next weekend.
2012 sierra denali I like the foam the best. keep the bottle and you can refill it and save some money
Will admit, look forward to Trans Am content but, its all gotta get done. As I mentioned in your AC repair video, I am currently working on a 5.3 drive-line removal from 200K 2000 Yukon (rusty) with my son for him to start his Hot Rod goals, he is still working on what chassis it will go in.
I'm working on a 87 Cadillac Brougham right now along with an 82 Trans Am as well. 😂 80's kid.
i'm working on my 1989 Camaro RS with the 5.0, been slowly building it back up to the point where i can reliably drive it daily
Looking to fix up a 2001 Silverado as a work truck for a new job. Got some high miles at 230K but I think I can fix it up and make it look decent your videos have helped a lot.
Working on a 2004 Silverado 1500 5.3 and a 1998 dodge ram 1500 5.9. Both are pretty disquating needing the engine bay clean and this will motivate me to do it
Perfect timing. Just purchased a L9H for my 85 IROC LS swap. Both the “new” engine as well as the IROC’s old engine and bay are in desperate need of a good cleaning…or should we say a super cleaning. I’m going for the triple rainbow to know it’s really working…
Working on a 1988 Camaro Iroz Z LT swap, 2015 Ram 1500 brake upgrade, and a 2021 Chrysler 300 Touring-L supercharger install.
Working on an '01 Yukon XL Denali just put 2024 Yukon brakes on it next week I'm doing the electric fan
1985 trans am super clean was used on this barn find with 50.000 miles now shes a clean bean love this stuff !!!!!
I got a notification saying I won and to check contact info above but there is none ?
@rickkimble8634 think it was a hack or scam I got one too
@@rickkimble8634
Just scammers trying to get you to respond to them and steal your account or other mischief.
One of the more common nuisances in YT comment sections anymore.
@@heyallenify how do you know whats real and not?
@@rickkimble8634
Any message saying to contact them at some other location, and definitely one that's not from the same account as the channel host, generally a scammer anymore.
Some of the most obvious ones are the ones with a series of images spelling out a social networking contact in their user names, but those seem to be disappearing now...
I’ve got my wife’s ‘14 Grand Cherokee that I’m chasing some electrical gremlins on and my ‘02 Silverado K1500 that I’m getting the courage up to tear out the dash to replace the evaporator core so I can get my AC back. It’s actually why I subscribed to you, the brake upgrade on Tahiti was the first video I ever saw and have used a lot of the content you created since it was so applicable to my truck.
@IsXmatt awesome, what do you need from me?
My 07 classic duramax leaked out of the hydroboost recently. Replaced it and gearing up to clean the oil off the frame rail
Hi Matt I'm working on my 1990 Corvette that I have owned since 2004 and have not driven since 2004 till this year. Super Clean does work well when you don't inhale it. LOL
I’m working on a 99 jeep wrangler tj 2.5 doing like you all mechanical stuff then onto cosmetic gotta pull my 5 speed do a new pilot bearing and while I am in there new clutch. Just had to fix a leak on the timing cover so did a timing chain while I was there why not also valve cover gasket and oil pan gasket. Then found my rear trailing arm became wireless so have to weld that up did a new exhaust with cat that was fun. But all in all it’s a jeep so it’s a black hole for the wallet.
I’ve been super clean for years.
I am currently working on my 1975 Chevy nova.
Toilet bowl brush works good.
I'd love some of that stuff. I got a 1999 expedition and a 2006 Buick Lucerne
Got a 2004 Chevy suburban lt I’m currently detailing bit by bit. It’s clean already but not to my liking soon will be buffed and covered in ceramic
My 08 h2 could really use some super clean. It has so much mud in the engine bay and I’m finishing up fixing some more oil leaks on the l92. So it would be nice to see what this stuff could do.
Working on my 66 corvair that I picked up and those air cooled engines leaked so much oil out of the pushrod tubes that the whole engine and bay is just CAKED
Love the channel btw
Edit Spelling
I have a 2007 Cadillac Escalade 6.2 I been having a issue with this code po111 I did change the vvt bolt and cam sensor and nothing still comes on and turns on service traction control truck has 240 thousand miles my question to is do I rip the motor out and do new cam bearings crank bearing the hole work your thoughts let me no motor sounds good but lack of power I also did a tune up but still feels like it’s not strong like I said that po111 code keeps popping up that’s the only code that pops up
What cam should I go with to delete that vvt system any recommendations I want a daily cam upgrade any suggestions
Working on a 94 camaro, 3.4 5 speed. Redoing the whole front suspension could use some super clean to clean it up!
@IsXmatt wait for real???!
My gmt800 could use some of this stuff. I'm trying to keep the older vehicles as nice as possible for as long as possible: car payments suck lol. Awesome work as usual.
Working on a 1991 GMC Syclone, it's my daily driver so it always needs a good cleaning.
I actually just picked up a ton of Super Clean for some stuff around the house and my projects (06 Yukon Denali, 07 Classic Silverado Duramax) so I'm looking forward to seeing similar results.
Also, for your hood, maybe a slightly more simple fix is a magnet? At least in the short term, it would hold the thing up and not leave a permanent hole. Love your content!
That could work too, maybe just glue the magnet to the liner
Working on a 92 Lincoln Mark VII LSC, but this stuff would be great under the hood of my '14 Armada. Living out in the country with gravel roads does a number on vehicles 🙃
just finished sound system 3.0 on my 85. Super Clean rules!
Only thing to worry on these motors is getting water in the knock sensors unless you already changed them and put the recommended bead of rtv over them.
Would spraying directly around the intake cause water to get into the knock sensors? I washed my 5.3 engine with just the water hose and spray nozzle and then had my knock sensor failed. I sense that was my fault.
It’s possible on the gen 3’s. This is a gen 4 motor so the knock sensors are bolted to the outside of the block.
Working on an ls/t56 swap on an 84 Camaro with my 14 year old son. It’s going to be his first car. Hoping to have it ready by the time he gets his license.
I’m bringing an 06 jeep liberty back from the dead. I bought it cheap and ended up needing WAY more than I was hoping.
Working on a 2005 GMC Yukalanche...almost done but the engine bay sure could use a detail
I been working on a 04 tahoe trying to make it a little bit cleaner than when i got it
2000 civic 4 door trying to make it into a track car motor is coming out and interior trying to clean everything to paint. Trying to make videos on it too
Super Clean is good gear. My buggies are an '01 Tahoe and a '90 Dakota. The Escalade's lookin' "gobs more gooder".
Another thing I make sure I use gloves.
First time it turned my hands leathery😂
This would be nice cleaning glacier silt off my 98 xj and ole sierra. That stuff clings to everything and eats bearings 😅
You have to turn the foam can upside down for it to come out.
I’m working on my 99 trans am ws6. It’s a 6.0 with hci with a big stall and 12 bolt.
