It’s my last real day in Iceland. My main job for today is to get back to a small town near the airport but along the way, I’m going for a swim in Iceland’s oldest pool, hidden under the fearsome Eyjafjallajökull, and making a flying visit to the Lava Centre at Hvolsvöllur before heading home at 5.30am.
