FOR THE SPONGE
* 300g Butter
* 240g Caster Sugar
* 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
* 4 Large Eggs
* 300g Self-raising Flour
* 3g Baking Powder
* 90ml Milk
* 105g Dark Chocolate Chips
FOR THE COOKIE BUTTERCREAM
* 1 x Italian Meringue Buttercream (Recipe: • How to make Italian Me... )
* 85g Chocolate Chip Cookies
* Dark Chocolate Chips
FOR THE CHOCOLATE GANACHE
* 225ml Heavy Cream
* 188g Dark Chocolate
* 19g Butter
FOR THE TOPPING
* Chocolate Chip Cookies
Three 7 inches (18cm) baking pans.

Hey 👋🏻. I’m really new to baking and have been looking for something like this for a bit. This looks amazing thank you for sharing! I have one question though you say to use 7 inch baking pans but don’t specify how deep the pan should be. Is a standard baking pan 2 inches deep? Thank you for the recipe and for your time!

Hey I’m back with another question 😰. I can’t find 7inch baking pans anywhere. I’m going to be looking at Target and Walmart today. I have found 8inch and 9inch ones though. If I used 8inch pans what would I need to change about the recipe and cook time?
