I mean, the mages in Flipside were aware of the full prophecy, the citizens of Yold Town were sorta aware of it, but past that, everyone was in the dark about it.
They probably mentally prepared for the worst. I doubt they had much hope of success when their heroes consisted of a fat turtle, two plumbers, and a delicate flower, going up against a super-powered magic user with a wmd, another super-powered magic user that was capable of creating alternate dimensions and mind control, a bodybuilder, and a shapeshifting spider monster.

My theory on one of the reasons why Dimentio lost is that he kind of turned Luigi into Mr L. Pretty much flipping his personality upside down. So if the ideal host is someone who is like Luigi, than the least ideal would be someone like mr L.

Dimentio is the single greatest villain in all of the Paper Mario games, period. He starts as a minion to Count Bleck, but is still enjoyable because of his dimensional powers and devilish charisma. Overtime, he starts to slowly reveal that he has his own personal agenda, until he finally betrays Count Bleck and reveals himself as the true villain. I know this kind of thing has been done before, but when it's done well, it's done REALLY well. He reveals his plan to destroy all of the worlds and create new ones where he rules over everything. Then, in a bizarre twist of fate, he almost wins. More people need to be made aware of how brilliant Dimentio is

That laugh is so chilling. Love it when a villain goes down with one last big laugh.
You know, this song is surprising meta when you examine the lyrics. "Destinations you'll never know" refers to parts of the game you'll never actually go to because they aren't on the map. "Rewrite the norm" refers to how this game is different the both the previous mario rpg games and mario games in general while "Sing a Song of Nothing" and "from the void the circus horns" refer to video game music that seemingly comes from nowhere with no actual lyrics or meaning behind them beyond being background music. The first line even fits since "up and down on this merry go round" could easily reference the fact this game is a platformer with some odd roundabout mechanics.

Okay I’ve seen a comment of a Super Paper Mario the Musical. And I’m kind of onboard with the idea, but I just want to state a few things, to not have people pressure or harass the crew.
Firstly remember, Man on The Internet are busy people, and they have projects to work on that can keep us entertained and loving of what they create. For example ChronoTrigger the Musical is still in the process of completing. And yes, it’s having a break for a while, but once they come back to it, all tracks are done and dusted, the full musical will be uploaded. What I’m saying is you need to give them time and have patience, and time is what all artist need in completing a project (believe me, I should know, because I’m an artist myself) once that’s l, they can work on the next project.
Another thing I should point out, that Super Paper Mario is indeed a good game and could be great idea to make a musical of. It’s kind of sad that some people dislike the game, because it’s different, but it has gotten good reviews, and it’s really deep for a Mario game (with the end of the world, sadness and lack of hope). It has many great characters and likeable villains that you can really sympathise with (Count Bleck), and it as the story goes on, it gets deeper. For those who are fans of ’Chuggaaconroy’ he’s done a let’s play of this game and, from what I’ve seen he has positive thought about it, and he says that it does get deeper and good as the story progresses further.
The soundtrack is really nice and it is kind of underrated, but I think from the talents of Man on the Internet that they can sort of remix it and add very nice catchy lyrics to it.
Super Paper Mario could be a great game for them to make a musical about. Super Paper Mario could be worth having a look at, instead of Bendy and the Ink Machine. I love Bendy, but it’s a horror game, and it lacks music, because it’s all eery and spooky, I don’t know how you can a song with just a eery soundtrack. And yes there is some jingles and jazzy tunes in it, but they only play for a short time.
However Super Paper Mario the Musical, could possibly happen, only time will tell. But please don’t pressure them. I mean it

@@Mmmmm-dn1vz Yeah, I played through Thousand Year Door like 5 times, the first one 3 times, and Super Paper Mario twice. Since, I did not have many games growing up, due to financial reasons, I replayed games a lot, so that may be why I remember it. I really hope the Paper Mario series isn't dead, because the first 3 were some of my favorite games. I was not really a big fan of Sticker Star or Color Splash. It's good that some people like them, but overall they both flopped pretty badly. I really miss the original style and Super Paper Mario style, they were a lot of fun.

I finished this game for the first time earlier today and I would not hesitate to say this is my favourite paper mario game, perhaps even mario game (though super mario galaxy is tough competition) and is one of my favourite games of all time. The ending was beautiful but the fight with this music that came before was epic. (I even changed my profile pic to dimension as you can see:) it's a shame people were turned off by the changes they made to the paper mario format in this one, leaving it in the dust. The story, characters and dialogue more than make up for this. And I'm not just talking about the over arking story. Every character you meet on your adventure has a story and they were all interesting and funny in my opinion. Not to mention the music and even the gameplay itself while different from the traditional paper mario games was great. The flip mechanic was fun and made sense in the narrative. And then there the pixls. While admittidly they lacked major character arcs like the partners in previous games their designs and functions were excellent. But seriously this games story was amazing and it had actual plot twists that were genuinely surprising and interesting. A shining example of course being that the main villain was dimentio, not count bleck but the whole count bleck/tippi twist was amazing and probably my favourite thing about this games story. Basically what I'm trying to say is that this game is criminally underrated and a true gem not just in the Mario franchise, but if you ask me the video game industry as a whole.
