- Sports games are unpopular for the next 6 months. Boot Manager is a sports game. Might as well make another sports game as well. This is in no way a bad idea.
Side note : Today has been all book writing all the time, only just now did I think "is today's video prepped to go live?" The answer was no. However I've recified that now.

As a longtime fan I'm very excited to see the legendary Boot Manager is coming back. I would love to see a Cowboys & Colonisation revival as well, perhaps even a Cowboys & Corporations crossover with Conquest Corporation?

Guys, please stop asking. Yes, I HAVE seen the demo of Boot Manager 2000. As far as the game goes, yeah, it's got better graphics, but like most enthusiasts, I really can't stand the lazy approach to sounds. You're telling me they have all those crazy Minotaur sounds in their other game, but they can't be bothered to record all the different kinds of turf and grass and gravel that a boot runs across??? Total immersion-killer for me. After playing the game all these years, I know the sounds of different kinds of dirt and these are not them!
But yeah, let's be fair, it's just a demo. They have plenty of time to take our feedback into account and send the devs back to fix the game before release.
If you need a copy, check out that magazine that has the CD-ROM in it every month. I tried to burn one and I couldn't get it to work. So stop asking me.

We are just confused why the Boys are running TV campaigns for Gun Bunny Afterlife (which we've all bought or nicked already) and not the new stuff. Now excuse me, I need to hack the copy protection on Plutonium Squad with that special utility I got off some geezer down the Barras.
Booty isn't a sports game, it's a puzzle adventure about cleaning and fashion or something reasonable like that. :)
I thought it featured stuffed animals as well.

It's kinda hilarious how this game makes you develop games at a loss to boost the sales of your hyper profitable consoles that keep the company afloat.
That's how it works in reality. The only upside is that if you're an early mover on a new gen console and it sells at warp speed you can be a must-buy for early adopters.
Realistically however, every console manufacturer loss leads with software to drive the platform adoption rate.

awe man... Wing Captain popped up... I really enjoyed Wing Commander back during that time period. Woot! what I wouldn't give for a good post-apocalyptical team simulator at that time... ala Road Warrior. Ultima, meh. Will just have to wait for fallout. Starting to come into some good hardware soon as well as cre8tive sound and game innovations... got to love it!

You should have a team for porting old games to the new console. Easily boost the game line up and generate sales for little money outlay
Ports don't work that way in this game. You can port between platform types but not within the same genus. So, console to arcade yes. Console to new console no.
It would be a remaster in this game.

Boot Manager is an Adventure/Skill Game not a Sports game
