- This video shows you how I installed 26s on my new Chevy Silverado. It took a few tries and I show you the ups and downs. this video will show you what to look for and what parts to order. Wheels were bought form @audiocity. @Giovannawheels 26" Dramuno 6 silver
The truck was lowered on a @BelltechSuspension 4/6 drop. You will need a 10mm hub-centric spacer custom built they have them at the audio city. I even talk about the lug nuts and does and don't.
Thanks for watching please follow me on all my social networks I will get better at this video stuff.

Nice truck! Sits perfect with the drop and 26s Looks super clean, Great choice on the wheels too. I’ve been running the Lexani LX-Thirty in 305/30/26 for around 3 years of daily driving with who knows how many miles and just barely replaced them they’ve held up really good! quality tire for the money definitely!!
D Money thanks man
...DAAAAAAMN!!!!!! Yes sir 26’s are the 1’s, thanks for the info bud.
Tracy James thanks man
Dude thanks!! That helped a ton. I have a 2019 Chevy with 22x10s that rub a little. Gonna have to take that bracket out. Had no idea that was in there. Thanks
Glad I could help man
Truck looks absolutely Amazing. Gorgeous fit couldn’t get better ❤
Mannn that truck is BEAUTIFUL love the look with them 6’s.👌🏼

Great looking truck. I don't even have a 2020 and still enjoyed watching your video. I have a 2015 and it will be lifted and I want to do 26's.
Thanks so much
That thing sittin just right 👍
thanks
Gorgeous truck, perfect size wheels
Big thanks i love it
Had been subscribed to you for a while & Im glad you made an informative video for us lowered 2019-2020 silverado guys especially about the brake calipers and rims ! Support from down here in hawaii🤙🏽
Thanks for the sub! thanks man
Perfect size wheels. Looks nice!🔥
Thanks! 👍
Great video explaining some of the things people should expect and no about to make a better decision doing something similar to what you are doing to their trucks I have always liked the look 26” gives them and for the most part it’s worth the feeling of more road bumps hub centric rings are a must to keep vibration at different speeds out of it so you don’t think tires are out of balance and the 24” wheels with just a 35 series tire do ride like factory with just that little bit of extra sidewall for those people wondering
Do the 24s it's way better I just switched
@@wfosteve7049 curious why did you switch to 24”s ? Was about to purchase these an was already looking at the same setup 2/4 drop with belltech suspension on my 15 Silverado but! The 24”s cost more than the 26s on audio city site . Didn’t know witch one to go with so it would be great if u could give me some info on why u changed. Cool channel 🤙🏼
@@Roman________ rides so much better and a tow boats so it way better this way
Thanks for making this vid! I've got a new to me 2019 Sierra Denali and this has saved the day while installing the 26" wheels! Exactly the info I needed!🙂
BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL TRUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!STEVEO!!!
Wow thanks so much
Truck looks excellent!
I think so too! thanks
Thank you for the info 💪
Great vid the truck looks good on the 26’s
Thanks 👍

Just got some 24x14 rims for my 2019 ram 1500 and I found ur video helpful🤙🏻
Glad I could help man
Thanks for the detailed video bro.
Sure
cool video man thanks for sharing
Thanks for the visit
Thanks for the video Steve.. you did awesome by the way! I have a 2019 GMC Sierra and thanks to you I know the size to get.. I just hope I don’t have that same issue with the brake caliper. But if my truck turns out like yours, it’s worth it either way. Thanks again
Wow thanks for the kind words bud
You will need a 1/4 " spacer on the front of the GMC.
114 is the correct rating though...these wheels look really good. I'm considering, which is what lead me to this video. Thank you
Sure they have the correct offset now to fit chevy with no spacers
Looks awesome
thanks man
My buddy has a 2020 high country with a 3/5 drop and 24s and he put spacers on but the wheel still rubbed that hump on the caliper, so they just ground it off smooth and re painted the brake so the bare metal didn’t rust it out.
Love the Silverado my friend
Thanks
26s look really good
thanks
Perfect 👌 it should have come from the factory like that
oh yea
Set up is beautiful!
Thank you! so much
Lifetime Chevy fan & hated the newest body style of them but your truck is clean as hell💪🔥
Thanks brother
Looks fantastic
thanks
Man this truck is a beauty, I wish chevy cut that finder some more so we could add a bigger 26 inch tire on there but im sure any custom shop can do some cutting on the finders and you can have the look and the plush feel of a 26 with a bigger tire
Thanks man it works out fine
Good job
Thanks
Awesome info. I just recently got some 26” replicas and they ride real good except when I get up over 60 mph I get a little vibration. I’ve had them balanced twice so maybe a hub would help. I don’t know. I agree with you, 26 inch rims look perfect on those trucks. I have a 2018 Silverado crew cab myself. I love how it looks. I have them set up with sunny tires 305/30r26 tires. I’ve been told those tires aren’t the best but I’m new to this and didn’t do much research. Up to 55-60 mph it rides real good though. Love your truck!
on an 18 you should not have a problem thanks for the comment
Man ! it looks like it was worth all bull.... you went through.
I'm in Pa and have 20 Trail Boss, can't have my truck that low.
But, it's sweet looking dude..👍
And i bet who ever designed the caliper doesn't have a clue about
that stupid bump.
MRLUGNUTS thanks so much man
I have 22s and yes they do look like doughnuts. The 26s look fire but seem like a lot of work and risk. Guess Ill have to upgrade to 24s. Great video!
Thanks bud
Great video keep it
Hey man I’m newly subscribed to your channel, and I just went from 24s to 26 s on my 2018 Nissan titan and you are educating me a whole lot about the load rating. Man thank you because I had questions as well about could I still drive long distance and or tow my two my car Back and forth to car shows. thank you for the information
Thanks for the sub! glad i could help
Nice! Good to see something different! All i see is lifted trucks in my area! Gets so old! 👍
Yes me to man me to
That’s Dope 🔥🔥🔥👑
Yes they look dam good
thanks
Thanks for the vid and ur details are great
Thanks
Truck looks amazing man
Thanks
Never torque any wheel by lifting up on a torque wrench ... always start in the 2 or 3 o'clock position and push toward the ground ! Sweet lookin' Whip there Steve !
Alan Lapp thanks
Unless this is some weird advice rooted in slipping and punching yourself in the face or something, I fail to see why anyone would warn about wrench orientation.
Looks great .... my boy just put 28s on his 2020.
Wow crazy
I had that same problem on a 98 Malibu get extended studs and you can use the regular lug
thanks
Looks good
Noah from KTBTV sent me 🔥 Awesome truck man , I got a 16 Silverado 2door short bed I’m workin on rn . SUBSCRIBED 💯

Nice truck man 👍
Thanks 👍
Look good
Hope you have smooth roads there.
yes
Dam those look bad ass on your truck. I’m getting a itch to slap wheels on my 21 Sierra and was curious about what size to go with. You answered it all!
Thanks man
@@wfosteve7049 your truck was factory height in this video correct?
@@Blueberry_B05 no it’s dropped
@@wfosteve7049 ah so with factory settings I’ll be able to get a thicker tire
@@wfosteve7049 mounting up my 26s right now at the tire shop. Can’t wait to see it. Got them cause of your video man. Thanks!
I ended up marking where the bracket was and installing it in front of the fender liner which in turn secures your wheel wells
1920 Silverado nice
1 inch lift will get the tire off the upper fender skirt, because if you pull it up from under th hood will probably not go anywhere, because it's already that factory screw up there in the upper part over the wheel well skirt where it rubs and that screw is probably drawing all the way up which means Defenders cart will not move any further.... I also heard that some of the Chevys can be adjusted to raise the truck. ?
Thanks for this video... Sure helped me with my 2022 Silverado on 26" Snowflakes, same issues you experienced. Any update on matching front and rear ET lugs?
Great news glad to help nothing on lug nuts yet but I do have another video coming about the wheels
26s look killer. I do think a 35 or 40 series would have looked better than 30s though. But that just my opinion. Great video lots of good info.
Unfortunately 30 series are thw only available tore for 26s
Hey to be honest you did a great job recording and explaining and your truck looks amazing so keep up the great work my guy
Thanks so much
🔥🔥🔥 this right here is a mamalona
what?
Gotta fill that fender that the only way ✍🏾🤧🍾🍾
Hey man That’s a Mighty Fine Son of a Gun 🔥💪🏽 And Thanks for the tips I’m actually Installing 26’s on my Chevy a week from now. So I was wondering on the tire size that tire looks Good enough for me man 💪🏽 Thanks and God Bless
Thank you I will get you the tire size
look good
thanks
Love the video my guy your film skills are great a lot of information and feedback is always good. I want to put some 26” rims on my 2008 Chevy trailblazer ss and I would like to know if I’d run into any of the problems you did. Please advise if you could.
Appreciate it! no problems so far been 12k miles i say go for it
Freaking nice ass truck 👍👍👍❤️
thanks
Truck looks fantastic. Curious what offset you got? I have a 2022 refresh RST…lowered 3/5. Currently using 22x9 Strada Buca’s with 295/45/22 and 26 offset. I just bought a set of Ferrada FT3’s in 24x10 and 30 offset with 305/35/24s. I test fit a side before removing wheels and tires, and no clearance issues
I have a Denali try 295/30 r26 tires no issues no mods
Sweet 😁
Thanks 😁
@@wfosteve7049 Your welcome
Omg i will be contacting you for advice, i want the same wheels and i have the same truck....awesome awesome aw&awesome 👌
Sure man thanks
Beautiful truck thank you for responding to my comment maybe we could do a collab with us and Noah?
JPK Fishing one day
Where did you get your spacers? I like your custom made spacers vs them cheap ones they give you at the rim shop. Truck looks good and glad you did this video as I want to add 26’s to my truck. What about grinding that lip down flush then painting the calipers? Thoughts on doing so. I want my truck to look good and not rigged like most vehicles you see. Thanks for the response in advance
I saw u at the petit lemans this weekend
nice should have said hi
Did the new spacer being machines perfect for that hub and wheel help with vibration at high speeds? I still have some vibration after two wheel balancings. What gets me is it’s almost non existent some times and other times I feel it. I don’t know if maybe they move in the studs sometimes or what. Where did you get those babies made? I’m considering the thinnest one possible so it doesn’t really stick the wheel out anymore but just enough to get the benefit of a well centered wheel. Awesome video. You bring up stuff no one else has. Keep them coming!
i dont have any shake at all
Food job
I would try use a grinder and grind those humps down on the break caliper some what
Truck is lookin good Steve... Any thought on grinding that hump down on the brake caliper?
me to scared me
This is a little bit separate issue but there's a video out there that covers the brake caliper issue so I'm going to mention it there's a video out there by ready lifts on how to properly level out the Trail Boss / AT4 versions of the Silverado and Sierra and they cover the break caliber issue that rubs on the wheels andt how to alleviate that issue without grinding it down so if you can find that video, you might want to check it out
It definitely looks better
@@chrismarbrey9678 share al ink
Put a washer on the bolt on the fender weld so it won’t get through the black fender very easy
I put 24 on my 2019 new body style with spacers no Rubbing
Nice
Super clean 💪🏽 I was wondering if you lowered the truck at all?
Yes 4/6
Shits tight I’m looking for 24s machined honeycombs for my lowered 2005 GMC Sierra
do it
Hello love this build, quick question..
Any rubbing on your carpet liners up front ?
Not at all watch how i fixed it
Great looking truck man. What drop kit did you go with?
Nice look'n truck. It would be better if the USA sold single cab
That is true
heres a thought steve can you grind down the hump on the brake calliper without losing any strength then you may not have to have spacers.
Was scared to do that
Hey man great video! Quick question could you tell me where did you buy the spacers and the lug nuts? I got the same size rims and same problem.
