I actually fought black blade kindred before this fight, so their move set was something I’m familiar with, made the fight a lot easier.

Honestly I fought them twice once in ng+ and once in ng++. They go down much easier with fire compared to say a bleed build. It just depends on your build and strength sucks for these guys seems as how they move around so much. But that’s just my perspective on it everyone’s different
He was nerfed but he's back to how he was now in patch 1.04
Radahn took multiple tries for me and these guys were first try. Just don't do gargoyles when you're underleveled.
i know he's already beat the game at this point but it's funny to see him complain about the hitboxes of the bosses being off when he could be jump attacking to make up for the distance + break the enemy's poise

Yeah jump attacks carried me through literally every fight in the game.
No. No. No. NO. You can jump over some of their moves but it is so inconsistent and your recovery with a large weapon jump attack is so slow you’re nearly guaranteed to take dmg. This fight is obscenely bullshit and no amount of jump attacks are going to help. I know from experience. Its also hard to get consistent jumping attacks considering their stupid collision messing up their hit box, making all attacks you do a 50/50 if they’re going to hit or not, and them constantly input reading and jumping away, making aggressiveness and staggering them bound to just make the fight you tanking them and boasting high stats or dying.

XQC complaining about why he's getting 2 hits while he didn't even invest in vigor that much and he's level 55, early game make sure you invest in vigor until you hit 40 vig or higher it'll make your life easier at this game.

All you need is enough vigor not to 1 shot probably 700 hp he must've put all his points into strength

People are just angry that he exposes that the game doesn’t account for slow weapons. This guy just kinda voices what every player is saying in their head, but people don’t like that because having emotions are frowned upon these days.

Prelate’s Charge on a colossal hammer is easily one of the easiest ways to kill Malenia. You can also block very well with them and guard counter for a stagger on almost every late game boss.
This xQc guy isn’t very ‘good,’ but he keeps trying until he overcomes, and that’s always been the spirit of these games. People who hate because he struggles are chodes. He always sticks through and gets it in the end.

Yeah I’m not talking about ash of wars I’m talking about the weapon. The weapons on their own are bad, especially compared to the rest of the weapons in this game. Not saying they aren’t viable but they’re literally the worst weapon to use with the highest skill ceiling because they’re slow and unforgiving.
But to your last point I agree. You don’t have to be good to play this game correctly. You just have to have an unbeatable will. And people who hate on this dude all probably use katanas and bleed builds.

He panic rolls a lot. I know this boss is freaking annoying but watching him play was pretty painful, it seems like he never learns the boss mechanics.
fr he’s easily the worst panic roller ive seen in terms of streamers. it seems like he doesn’t really pay much attention to the specific moves and finding the best way to dodge them.

I think it would be cool if they used each other to do combo attacks. Like imagine one gargoyle picking the other up, while the other one swings its blade or Axe then is thrown into some sort of tornado combo. Or if you beat one it breaks apart, and once the other one is at half health a second phase starts where the gargoyle takes the parts from the dead one, adds it to itself and becomes crazy.
If the godskin duo did combos with each other that would've been dope as well.
That would make ganks more enjoyable great idea 💡
Where the hell are these 2 Gargoyles located??
You can find it at Siofra Aqueduct. Go to the area where there's a lot of jellyfish, then go down and you'll find grace. There's a buliding after the grace, go down to the building and you'll find 2 crucible knight in that area. You'll definitely find valiant gargoyle duo if you're in the right place.
The poison mist should only build up and not damage, it's so bs especially once the other one spawns you can't do shit cause he will keep spamming that bs and there's no safe way to hit the one with half hp, absolute trash imo, remove the damage aspect of the poison mist and just make it build up poison and this boss would not be as badly designed especially for melee

oleg the mvp for me, you get a bunch of ghost glovewarts in nokron right before these guys so oleg was actually tanky enough to tank them until I killed one of them, after that the 1v1 isn't too bad

xqc blaming the Radahn swords is insane. Those swords carried me through the second half of the game. I even beat malenia solo in journey 2 with them just by spamming the weapon art that he was hating on so much. Skill issue i guess
Ngl this was my most frustrating boss of all of them, Huge boss with big hitboxes check, a gank boss check. Fucking hell I was more frustrated fighting these gargoyles than Malenia and Consort Radahn put together. Even tho Consort Radahns second phase is a total horseshit boss design imo, but at least it's onevone

Honestly the thing that makes mid and late game unbearable is the obscene numbers on the damage enemies can do.
I know souls games are meant to be hard and challenging.. but that isn't hard or challenging when I dump so much into my health to try and be able to take some hits to learn the fight just to get fucking slaughtered in 1 and 2 hits against damn near everything mid to late game. And god forbid you put on ANYTHING that "increases damage taken" cause then you are basically super fucked after that.
Bloodbornes balance of difficulty and damage was much better overall then elden rings for sure. You still had to get good, you had some leeway with the amount of heals you could carry but the game was still quite difficult. They should use that game more as a base for balance then souls games in my opinion.
Yeah you right. Some of this guys complaints are pretty valid too. I’m full vitality and still get 2 shotted lol. The game is designed for you to die at least a few times to learn the patterns (which is ok). It’s also noteworthy to add that this guy is using an F tier build. UGS is trash in this game (coming from a person who beat the whole game with Zweihander). This game revolves around fast weapons and magic completely, people are just too proud to admit that.
I disagree. My vitality was at like 35 at the end of the game and I never really noticed until I started watching other people play that my health was super low compared to everyone else, but even then I still had enough health to not die in one hit. To be fair, the whole theme of a boss fight is "you hit him, don't let him hit you".

That's hilarious. In this vid he's complaining about the Radahn swords with a strength build being dogshit. Then later when he's facing Godfrey he's complaining about a river of blood arcane build being dogshit and that he's going back to his gigachad build... the Radahn sword strength build!
And these Gargoyles are weak to both Magic and Standard damage types, so his build had nothing to do with it and rather being like 20-30 levels underleveled and being bad.

I kind of agree the gargoyles are a cheap boss set. You can’t exactly dodge two attacks and a huge aoe poison at the same time.
Honestly I didn't have an issue with this boss. I'm not saying it's not hard but I think because I was pretty high level 125 in ng+ as well as having fought plenty of duo bosses throughout the games the dev has made, I just find these guys pretty average, I mean I might just be getting lucky with enemy AI too so I can respect people who like this boss

this duo boss is nothing compared to some of the late game boss, or even regular boss like lesser red wolf of radagon that found on some of the map. that wolf is some real BS design.
Valiant Gargoyles are unironically harder than radagon.
