“I’m not panic rolling.” *proceeds to panic roll in next attempt and dies* “Ok, I’m panic rolling like crazy.”
XD
was gonna say that. He panic rolls like crazy.
Morgott actually isn't a bad boss, after having beaten all of the main bosses, he honestly felt like the most fair and fun to fight.
Him and Radagon are the best fights
I feel like it's more RNG because sometimes he literally doesn't stop attacking
I think Goldfrey was my favorite, (Malenia would be my favorite but the waterfowl dance is crazy) but I think it's because I was running dex. I can't imagine fighting them on strength or magic.
@@snipesi1261 Ew dex build, Guts strength build for life, dex builds are for weenies (jk)
For me Godfrey -> Morgot -> Malenia
I love him confidently saying "oh its the final boss" on the midpoint boss.
My dude is rocking +4 flasks for a late game boss. Gotta explore that world man!
Doesn't matter how many flasks you have tho. Getting hit in souls games has no excuse.
This isnt late game
@@user-hp5to4vi1y Mid/Late?
@@user-hp5to4vi1y It's late mid game.
+4 seems about right for a mid ish game fight. Most players aren’t scouring every inch of the map
Rule nr1 in a fromsoft game, dont get cocky. He got cocky, he called the boss easy.
And the boss replied with a devilish grinning.
Miyazaki designs it this way to allow players a false sense of comfort, and then humble them.
Does anyone watch these videos after beating bosses to feel good about themselves, like ah finally it is behind me
No because I no hit this guy in 30 seconds on my first playthrough
@@gotworc of course you did.
@@gotworc30 secs? Sure.
@@gotworcDon’t think you’re good if you used unseathe 😂
My man's going on a rant because a literal demigod has the stamina of a demigod XD
Still bad boss design
@@elitedonut1089 oh I'm not saying it's not, I hate Elden Ring's bosses. I think they're overall the worst of all of From Soft's games' bosses so far. Which is saying something because I'm including all of DS2's bosses in that comparison when in my opinion there were only three great fights in that game (though those three have become all time favorites of mine)
They all look cool but they're simply not fun to fight. Bosses used to be the highlight for me through the Dark Souls trilogy but in Elden Ring...they were just a chore.
However I do find it just a bit comical complaining about the stamina of a mythical being even if it is a little BS. Since yeah it's bad and blatantly unfun design but c'mon. It's a demigod. You expect it to have comparable stamina to a human?
Honestly I loved Morgott (and Margit by extension), he felt like the first true souls boss to me, he's definitely up there in my top 5 list of the whole souls franchise alongside soul of cinder and the boss I liked fighting the most.
Maliketh was pretty good too.
@@amimm7776 I disagree with everything you've said but I respect your opinion.
@@mum-your Well you'd be wrong in that assumption since the Dark Souls trilogy, Demon's Souls, and Bloodborne are all in my top 10 favorite games of all time and you clearly have a very skewed understanding of what boss design is if you think any of the main bosses in Elden Ring approach even "acceptable" by From Soft standards.
The tracking on their attacks is often blatantly BS and forces them to turn unnaturally to hit you (even worse than Dark Souls 2 in a lot of instances), some of them have blatantly unfair moves that quite literally can't be avoided (Rykard's first stage and it's eruption attack which can't be rolled, strafed, nor jumped over), excessive use of input reading (Godskin enemies being especially atrocious offenders), stupidly long combos that almost every boss can either extend or repeat at will (Godskin Noble's incessant poking attack, Malenia's waterfowl dance, Morgott's second phase wombo-combo, etc), Fire Giant being so comically over-large that you can't see 90% of his attacks coming because you're up on him, excessive amounts of repeat bosses (oh fun another tree sentinel, erdtree avatar, putrid tree spirit, burial watchdog, astel, crucible knight, etc). Dark Souls 2 unironically had better boss design. Boss design bring how the boss functions overall in the game.
Elden Ring's bosses are disappointing to say the least. Not in the "they're too hard" way, but in the "I expected better" way. Any boss in any From Soft game can be beaten easily enough with a proper build for said boss, the point is if it's fun to do so. There's a reason why I stopped playing after the third time I finished the game. Like I said before, the bosses in the Dark Souls trilogy were my favorite things about all three games. In Elden Ring they're a chore.
I also find it humorous that the first thing you assume when someone doesn't like the bosses in Elden Ring is that they think they're too hard. Even when said person explicitly stated that the Dark Souls trilogy is their favorite trilogy in gaming before you even showed up. You either have reading comprehension issues or are completely blind XD
" where is HIS stamina bar?!"
The most relatable shit
This boss teaches not to panic roll like this fool does.
And teaches to not wasting rune arc XD
@@vwasta Yeah usually I use them only when I'm sure I learned the boss' moveset.
It almost feels like his character is unable to walk, and can only roll around
@@TheSadLittlePanda Exactly lmao
you were supposed to learn that in the first encounter not near game end lmao
When I saw Morgott for the first time, I shouted, “YOU WANNA GO FOR ROUND TWO?! LET’S GO!!!’
Put these foolish ambitions to rest. Put these foolish ambitions to rest. Put these foolish ambitions to rest.
😵😵
i thought it was my last time hearing that till i got to this fight bro😂
I can't imagine going up to Leyndell and only having +4 flask and having that much health sheesh.
After watching this video I feel like I have no fucking ambitions at all.
all you have to do is put these foolish ambitions to rest...
I was annoyed with the fact that this boss only took me 3 tries, he was actually fun to play against. His combos are easy to memories and it just feels so satisfying to dodge his combos.
fr took me 2
I was overleveled so I played a prince of Persia build with bloodhound step and took many tries but was very exciting
it Took me 100
i was so underleveled so it took me like 2 days until i bought the zweihander and looked up the lion's claw location, after that it was only 7 tries
gg
Ikr, I really hope i can get the full morgott experience next run :(
I like how he seemed to be having fun in the back of his mind despite dying. He smiles at some points and is not upset to the point of being miserable even when not fighting.
"His blade is soooo loooonguh 😩"
Emboldened by the flame of ambition
Someone must extinguish thy flame. Let it be Margit, the Fell
xqc is actually pretty lucky to not encounter morgott's super 28-hit combo in phase 2. i got wrecked by that wayyyy too many times
why lucky? he only has a chance to trigger it while you're really close to him and you're kind of supposed to keep a liittle distance from him if you want to no damage him because some attacks are very difficult to counter if you are in his face all the time.
This is my first traditional FromSoft game (only other I played was Sekiro) so I don't have a good grasp on builds and shit, but Morgott has been the hardest boss I've gone against in my playthrough. Took me about 2 hours to beat. Lvl 80, bloodhound fang +7, like 40 vigor, 40 strength, 20 dexterity. Pretty sure my armor is terrible. That stone head of the guys in the academy, random NPC robe and shit. Either I'm bad or under leveled. But I did beat every Sekiro boss hitless so idk
im not quite sure but bloodhound fang is not str weapon...str build usually use greatsword, sword & shield
CMIIW
and wear the best stats armor you have but make sure you are not heavy loaded...
@@omelett7579 as someone playing as a strength build, with most points put in strength, vitality, endurance, and some in dexterity, it’s actually weird how bloodhound fang is better then some strength weapons. I have it +9 with 22 dex and I believe 48 strength? It does better then godrick axe on damage, despite being a dex weapon. Most likely because it scales better with Dex since it’s B rank while godrick axe is C rank with both strength and dexterity. I’ll double check everything since it could be confirmation bias but I feel like bloodhound fang is just a legit better weapon then my other strength based weapons.
I use bloodhounds fang +10 it scales with dex so for me its easier to mimic summon and when he deaggros spam the ash and hes dead in 6 hits
@@cbgvkd9206 yeah I realized that a big reason people used the weapon was because of the ash of war, which I never used
If you play monster hunter and souls series its actually very useful with the dodge skill
The dodge in those games is completely different though... souls you get tons of i frames so you can roll through most attacks. Also the i frames are in the middle of the roll.
In MH the i frames are tiny and at the very very start of your roll. Most player cannot use roll i frames in mh so it is about positional rolling etc
@@joesheridan9451 In Souls the s begin at the start of the roll.
@@hexthehardcorecasual but they last throughout. In mh it's only at the start

Just a little reminder that xqc needet 7 hrs for the abyss watchers never forget that Highlight
What 7 hours. I get they can be a wall on the first run but cmon they don't have health, how do you need 7 hours
@@danielfraiz74 its xqc
It's quite funny to me because my first experience with a soulsborne game was when my cousin let me fight the abyss watchers, I beat them after my 6th attempt and I'm honestly not good at soulsborne games either
@@danielfraiz74 Bro you're overestimating xQc
Honestly you need and incantation for your weapon that will definitely help and also level up your strength
I had a fun time fighting him. Beat Morgott on my 4th try and I was stoned. Level 93
7:39
I thought Morgott would jump and fall out of the arena for sec lol
I first tried Morgott, and then I was like "Is that it?". Although to be fair the only reason I first tried him was probably because of all the trauma and abuse I received from Margit.
Or maybe cause you were overleveled, summoned Melina and mimic to help.
And then "YEAH, FIRST TRY BABY!!!".
:)
But he is way harder than Margit, way faster and unpredictable
@@ReRubis Haha cry
@@thisisthemansworld8704 but the gimmick is holding his attacks, if you get that down with margit, morgott isnt that much harder
Thats a funny way to say you were overleveled, skill issue
i love how he said that morgot is easy because he doesnt do delayed attacks, really massive attack chains and big sword hitbox unlike margit when the video started, then proceeded to complain about morgot's long combos, delayed attacks and the sword's massive hitbox
I love watching people mald like me. It’s so funny because I do the same thing where I downplay how hard a boss is trying to act like I’m good. Meanwhile it’s my 10th attempt and I’m starting to regress 😭😭
Edit:
“Where is HIS stamina bar?! Where is it?” LMAOO took me outt
Bro
I have been fighting him for 2 days you got any tips?
@@Twizzlerss-my2ok roll timing and only hit after big combos like the one when he jumps in the air and lunges his weapons into the ground
10th attempt? You got bump those numbers up man I spent several hours fighting Malenia for the first time and challenged myself to do it with no summons or ability spam and beat her after 118 Deaths.
Eh nothing to be ashamed about. You probably are good but alot of Elden Ring bosses require less skill and more memorization of the timing of patterns unless you’re over leveled.
"I can t believe I beat this guy blindfolded with a broken hand first try"!!
“Put these foolish ambitions to rest.”
The way he explains Morgot's attack pattern pacing is hilarious and very accurate :D
Too bad every single boss is undertuned for first playthrough but Morgott's move set is so fucking cool. I wish we could get his incantations. Honestly reminded me of Pontiff Sulyvahn from DS3.
I don't know much about elden ring.
Do you mean the bosses are weaker on a first playthrough? Because that kind sucks
@@panmanteca5923 eh n not really i mwan they are if you explore everything you can before the boss but that is expected with an open world game
I'm concerned that i fully understand his papega hand signs and sounds
For me he was acting like a bot my first attempt then after like 3 more he was going crazy until I beat him 😭
I made like 3 attempts before summoning 2 helpers. It was a stressful day
Sometimes this type of games became much harder when you're not in a good condition
Morgott is one of my favorite bosses even though I got him in 3 attempts.
I really took the time to learn what I can from the 1st attempt and not panic roll and honestly dodging his flurries felt like a dance
@@sirliamgalvez5276 especially when he starts to spin with both blades and then smashes the ground with his hammer
@@allanqueme4608 I especially love when he does that running slash because what I do is run along with him going sideways and roll the direction he slashes so I can retaliate and it feels and looks so cool
He always says its a boring boss when he cant beat it the first 3 times lmao
He got a point in his delayed attacks lmao
No he doesn't lmao
HNGGGHHHHH AH HNGHHHHHHHHHH AHH
I hate when people complain about the boss holding onto their attacks. That's the skill gap for this fight, is learning the attacks so you can dodge perfectly, and punishes panic rolling
That's not skill that's memorizing the attacks
I was very over leveled when I got to him killed him on the first try in like 40 seconds
Mind me asking what lvl u were?
I'm no pro this is my first souls experience, but I don't understand why he kept rolling into him while Margott was attacking or about to attack 🤣
Because as long as the attack doesn't put a hitbox where you land, then your immunity frames will dodge it, some attacks on specific enemies you have to dodge into them, the fireball attack on draconic tree sentinels has an aoe when they land so you have to dodge foreword for example
Because it's a throw off. A lot of enemies are fast, and I can from Bloodborne. Where the enemies and bosses are fast, but the enemies are fast in Elden ring and the bosses punish the moment you react to them raising their weapon
Oh okay dope, I didn't even know that
@@TimothyGod wait what?
I love how he pretends to know what he is talking about.
I thought I was bad until I watched this
Fighting him with melina was fun
man i love elden ring meltdowns
Bro only panic rolls lol
He's rolling forward
Got a tiny question......why this Morgott cutscene has fire when his sword cracking??
"Put this foolish excuses to rest"
“Is this final boss?” Ahahahahahaaaa if only
he actually played well
It’s jarring seeing how differently these battles go when people just dodge roll…
Cause when I fight Morgott. I mostly parry him instead of dodge rolling
Margit has taught all of you well
I'm from Quebec too and half the time I have no idea what he's saying.
Whys he not using the summon help lol she draws his attention and makes it so much easier
You get more chad points for soloing
Summons are an easy mode.
Some people don't like soloing
All he does it panic roll.
xQc: Struggling with Morgott
Margit's Shackle: 😐
cs deagle analogy was on point
i beated this boss first try without summon. idk how i did it but i did. it all went so fast and got some lucky dodges. maybe bc i was 10 lvls overlevelled. but this will always be a memorable fight for me. i could not believe it.
I'm on morgott life is hard at level 60 on a new build
did he not know about the melina summon or did he just refuse to use it?
He probably didnt want it. He also fought Margit without rogier and godrick without nepheli
Something doesnt seem right to me. You do very little damage compared to what i was doing with my starscourge. Maybe you need to upgrade it more, or invest more in strength (in other words you were underleveled). I did him 1st try with the starscourge. With mega bonk (double greathammers) it took me about 4-5 tries because i cant get his delays perfectly dodged consistently.
The weapon is too slow though like u land one hit but it’s so slow that u eat multiple hits from boss
He doesn’t use the ash of war once😢
Does he enjoy the game? I've been enjoying watching people's reactions to bosses since I finished it. xQc just seems like he's playing for content rather than actually wanting to play.
xQc have some complaints with the game, but he did say the game is good. He also says that he play Elden Ring off stream by himself, so I guess he enjoy playing it. I think he didn't want to stuck streaming one game for a long time since he wants more variety to his streams.
did xQc upgrade his flasks a single time? they heal him so little each time he drinks one
They are +4 flasks
And he Never touch this game after completing
lmao he got me good when he said case hardend 🤣
hhh second stage not activated
You should put how many time he dies
Did this guy just ate a piece of toast and wipe his fingers on his hair? Wtf? Idc if he wiped it on the napkin before, that's nasty
Bro really had +4 flasks at morgott and says he didn’t rush the game
Omegalul
Hardest boss I’ve faced so far in my lvl 1 run.
A lot more mixups than any other boss when it comes to the attack timings, and each one is immediate death.
Even Malenia is more predictable than this guy, so he’s definitely quite the challenge unless you overlevel
Where is hiihss stamina bar?
I beat him 2nd try by sheer luck
Killed him first try, was quite over-leveled at that point in the game though.
Wait did Xqc just eat a Pizza and wipe the grease to his hair? Lol
WAIT WHAT... WAIT WHAT... WAIT WHAT...
Proud def this boss for 3 attempts
Imagine xqc trying to beat Mohg 😅
It take me 1 time to take him down with my low bar health. 😂
Bro plus 4 flask?
Top left what?
chat: oh no no no pepeLaugh
Does this man not level strength or intelligence why his damage so low?
7:21 lol
I don’t understand why he can’t just go on CZcams and just watch a guide. There is nothing wrong with seeking help on the internet that’s just one out of many uses of it. He also needs to upgrade his sauce and have plus 10, 6, or 7 flask but his flask should be close to level 10.
I beat him on my 5th attempt cause I learned when to dodge on certain moves he does
For me it was like 3 hours, his hammer was literal pain
No, you beat him because you were over-leveled and probably used summons.
@@TheBussyAnnihilator is that how u beat him?
@@TheBussyAnnihilator good to know
@@Akumu12354 Lol, and now you’re projecting. Truth hurts doesn’t it?
PagMan Morgott
Gotta use Margit shackle
I cant believe that I beat him in just 6 tries at level 60 xD cause I'm such a bad player
I've always wondered: Why do streamers refuse to summon furled fingers?
because **they** want to beat the boss
and the viewers want to see the *streamer* beat it
Cause chat would just bitch about it constantly. Besides it’s more entertaining watching someone beat the boss solo
Bigger problem is panic/spam rolling
Surprisingly isn't true. If the host doesn't know what to do and gets screwed your gonna lose. Also health I believe is adjusted for multiplayer.
Why do people summon fingers? Why have someone play the game for you? Its almost like people don't have fun playing the game and just want achievements or something.
6:47 math teachers be like
+4 flasks lmfao
Margit was more of a challenge
This is my first Fromsoftware game and I found Margit soooo difficult. Maybe because he was my first majorish boss and I didn’t explore very much but my god it took me over 50 tries with him. Morgott was like 3.
For some reasons I First tried Margit, then he had Revenge
I like how because he sucks and is having a hard time it’s “broken.” No. You just need to stop panicking
XQC said Morgott was spamming
All he did was swing his curved blade a couple times and hit you
*What spam?*
Honestly, it feels like that when you first see it something sometimes. When I saw the fire move from godrick. I couldn't escape, I saved the fight and rewatched it. I just went the wrong way
Bro I beat morgott in my first try
Im so mad, I beat most of the main bosses in 1 or 2 tries. I beat Margit and Morgott in 2 tries each then died to Spiritcaller Snail 4 times ; __ ;
Lmao for me bosses are sometimes easier than some normal creatures in the world like sometimes i think to my self this guy should be a demigod instead of the one that i killed 😂😂😂😂
