Hi Diana! 👋🕯In memory of your beautiful daughter, Naomi 🌈 You're getting a lot of lessons learned from sewing the polka dot dress! It looks like it's coming along nicely, and I love the classic polka dot print! I remember using a static cling spray when I wore dresses or skirts that had that clinging and riding up issue. I'm looking forward to seeing your new hair style too! Have a nice weekend!
Hi Diane, what a difference it made , just taking it in a little at the waist, WOW. I love the polka dot fabric 👏🏼. I am happy to hear that you passed the day feeling good, the sadness will be transformed into only great memories of your beloved beautiful daughter. I know you must be tired of hearing this, but my heart goes out to you, hoping that your broken heart can one day be healed. 💕💕🥰🥰
Your dress is looking great! I think I remember watching a video from Inside the Hem about measuring and she said that the waist measurement should always be your natural waist and that’s what pattern companies base the sizing off of. It’s glad to hear that you did okay on the anniversary of your daughter’s tragic death.
Hi Diana! I do remember seeing someone attach the lining to the seam allowance near the bottom hem by crocheting a short chain of thread and attaching the thread to both pieces so it can only ride up as long as that little chain is. I don't know if I'm being clear but worth a try?
Thank you for another great video Diana. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers always.
You are so welcome

Thank you for your kind words. I am frustrated with how much I have to take the dress in around the waist, but we live and learn!
I love the dress. Fabric is beautiful. ❤
Thank you! 😊

You’re right. I thought it was my natural waist! I made a mistake apparently. 😂

That's a great idea!
