This is one of many childhood love stories I love so dearly and how much trials, tribulations and sacrifice they had to go through to keep their love and support for their children life ..... This is one story I remember my mom , and all my siblings and friends will all gather in my house in side mom's bed room and watching movies in Haiti ..... Thanks

If it was released in 1969 in the UK: - Where is the original without the Elton John track on it? - Films took a long time to put together and edit in the 60s and 70s. Why would a complete film be re-released with a completely new soundtrack? - What else changed about the film?

I saw this movie at West End Theatre Pune, India- 9 pm show. It was censored i.e. sexy shots were omitted. I liked this movie. It has beautiful landscapes. I did not understand the song but performance of both d actor n actress was superb. It has a tragic end and it made such an impact that I didn’t realize how I walked 5 miles and reached home. I wish to see this hero if I get a Chance. Most natural acting. This is the Director’s movie....best direction. I saw unsensored version 2 yearsback. Awesome. I have also seen Paul and Mitchel ...but Friends is very close to my heart.

There was a time when Elton John was on a roll. He was releasing singles and they 'charted' well. This was one of them.
My absolute FAVORITE at the time❣️ It came out during my Senior year in HS.

it was a work of art, and in 71 (in Germany) I used to fall asleep to this album every night. Loved it.
