✧ Polyester waxed thread 1mm thick (you can use any other thread).
✧ Board with clamp (you can use a cork and some needles or also a flat surface and tape).
✧ Ruler or tape measure.
✧ Scissors

✧ Small beads / beads of approx. 3 mm (optional)
✧ Adhesive/sealing tape or adhesive tape (optional).

✦ WHAT IS MACRAME? ✦
It is the technique of creating weavings using decorative knots, "the art of knot tying".
Macrame is a word of French origin meaning "knot", which in turn derives from the Turkish word makrama, which in turn derives from the Persian word mikrama.... As you can see it is a very ancient art, in which only the hands are used to perform it.
People like the Persians and the Assyrians, more than 4000 years ago, had great mastery and used Macramé to decorate the edges of rugs with knotted threads. Later, the Arabs brought it to Europe and then the Europeans brought it to America. The typical Caribbean knotted hammocks were made with this technique.
Macramé has three basic knots: the half knot, the flat knot (or square), the cote knot (festoon, cavandoli or cord).... From these knots you can make more than 50 different variations!
🦋 A little bit about me and the channel 🦋
My name is Raquel, I'm from Barcelona, Spain. Since I was a little girl I always liked making crafts with thread: creating bracelets, necklaces, etc. intuitively, using the macramé technique without having knowledge about it yet. Some time ago I took up that passion again and started a craft project completely from scratch, in a self-taught and autonomous way, making macramé pieces and sharing them with everyone.
In my social networks I have always shared videos about how I make my pieces and many people have encouraged me to create this CZcams channel to share all my work so that you can encourage you to start this wonderful art and I will be here to accompany you.
The idea is that in this channel you can find all kinds of DIY tutorials to make bracelets, friendship bracelets, with waxed thread, Chinese thread, embroidery thread (cotton thread), etc.. You can also find necklaces, pendants, earrings, earrings, chockers, etc.
At the moment I will be uploading little by little and I will learn how to make the videos so that they look and sound good because I do not have many tools ....

Te hago una consulta, hice una pulcera con cerrado simple no le hice nada a los hilos e hice el nudo plano para cerrarla, la cosa es que con el movimiento de la mano como que se me va abriendo la pulsera, puede ser que me falto ajustar mejor el nudo plano del cierre?

Sí se puede, de hecho en el vídeo explico las posiciones iniciales para ahorrar hilo. Al final sobra un poco pero yo siempre guardo los hilos sobrantes para utilizarlos en otras joyas ✨

15,5cm 😅 In any case, it is advisable to make a weave smaller than the total diameter of the wrist to be able to adjust the bracelet, otherwise it will be too big.
