These are very very good guitars for their price point! I should have ordered and Excellente! And I’m NOT a Gibson guy at all, but….. I’m a tone snob now, in my retirement, and I have a little dough, so I’ve got a Bozeman built Frontier coming, in natural finish. By the time it’s converted to Canadian $’s and taxed, it’ll be as much as my best Martin! I played one and it blew my mind! AWSOME neck carve too - chunky! Peace
I've been loving Epiphone guitars for years and did my best to get through some stubborn label-vision cork sniffers who simply couldn't get past the stinking name on the headstock!! There's just 40 Epiphone Excellentes coming into Canada, and because I 'axed' my local small town family owned and operated music shop, "Connors" if they could find me an Excellente at the right time, when unknown to anyone, Epiphone were ready to start taking orders for these awesome Master Built series of guitars, and so they were lucky to have enquired while there were still some available and I'm getting a freaking Excellente!! WOOO HOOO!! I'm not a wealthy, extremely handsome dude, in fact my health took a serious unwelcome nose dive a few years back and I'm now chained to a peach of a disability pension...sigh... but I had to have one!! Being a man of action, I bit the freaking bullet and sacrificed my beloved Casino and my Seagull Maritime, my Epiphone AJ 100 and a Yamaha Strat copy, because I simply didn't have the cash, and now all that sacrifice, all that temporary agony has paid off because my very own Excellente will be in any day now!!! 1 of 40!!! and I got one?? and people say God doesn't exist...hmmmph! OK, so it looks like they still have the full sized EJ-200. Man, I wish they knew how to create a website, because for the past month, I thought the 200 was gone & they do not communicate or respond well at all.
I think it's discontinued for real. Damn, imagine if they made an all solid EJ guitar under 1000$... that puppy would have slayed Gibson and many other counterparts. Nobody makes all-solid jumbos cheaper than 2000$, AFAIK. Even Alvarez, Eastman, Cort, Ibanez, Sigma. No one.
@@LegsON not discontinued. Epi is just super slow with their website. My dad got the 200 just a few months ago. It is crazy good, just doesn't make sense how amazing a $500 guitar can sound. I was surprised at just how awesome it was out of the box. Just touched the truss rod and it was ready to go. Awesome frets, leveled...Crazy

These guitars are not easy to purchase. Especially the Excellente, what's the point of advertising them if they are not available. I want to buy one but no one has them in stock!
