    The step through design It's easy to get Off and on That's what I hate about my ebike that I built so hard to get on and off This bike you reviewed looks like it's easy on and off

      Yes it sure is! I had a full size Himiway that was NOT easy to get on or off. I had 4 accidents in one week because I could not get off the bike fast enough when coming to a stop. I sold the Himiway and bought the Kommoda as a replacement. so happy I did.

    At the bottom of the battery where the controller is, you can disconnect one wire which will take away the speed restriction. The motor is in fact a 750 watt which explains the 900 watts power you can see on the display. The 250 watts printed on the motor is helpful when pulled over by the e-bike police..

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Před 11 měsíci +2

      Thanks for the info. Yes it has plenty of power and many brands now just print it's 250W when really it's 900W. I like to keep to 25km/h around town and in my videos as I have people that would report me...

    That bike seems so similar to Lankeleisi Kommoda, I guess it came from the same factory. Regarding the folding pedal. Most likely the bike was designed with Asia in mind. Where space is limited so to avoid the pedal hitting your shin (and gets your pants dirty) when you push it into your teeny tiny house, you can fold it, and fit it better in the rack bike. I'm not saying it justify it, but it seems to be the reasoning

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Před 11 měsíci +2

      Very similar bikes yes could be the same ODM. As for the pedals yeah I get it but normally theae pedals are reserved for foldables. And since they are weaker I'm not really a fan of them after my foldable pedal accident.

      @@Techtablets Couldn't agree more about the pedal. I ripped god knows how many plastic pedal back in the day because of my weight. Ended up buying fully metal, that one can stand my abuse

    European version doesn't seem to be legal in the UK regardless of Brexit since UK simply retained EU law on e-bikes. "it was likely that neither bike met the requirements for classification as a compliant EAPC, and both were motor vehicles." was the ASA's statement on an advert from Cyrusher on a couple of models with similar motors. Beware 15 penalty points on your car license if you ride one in UK.

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Před 10 měsíci

      That's harsh and overkill. It can't be unlocked and it rides at 25kmph max, on a normal bike I can ride around 32 kmph on the flat and 50+ downhill will that also be 15 points less? Time to ban normal bike's then, can't be far off.

      Not true the bike is restricted to 15.5mph and is legal in the uk. You must be one of the “e-bike police”

      @@ciaranh5907 It's truly what the ASA stated, whether their interpretation was correct I cannot say. Google the text in quotes for a couple of articles using that quote from ASA. They exceed the motor power requirements even though capable of being speed restricted.
