It's understandable; that was at the end of the previous episode, and it seems there was a break before recording this one. The mission log didn't record that bit of info, so he had no way of knowing other than remembering (and it's easy to forget for people like us with scatterbrains) or watching the end of his own video.

Thank you! I hoped someone commented on it bc it's so funny. I love how Mark has little moments like these in all the games. The stare off is my third favorite. First is booping the nose in 1 for good luck. Second is playing with the prizes in Help Wanted. Not quite as good as those, but as much as I love exotic butters, this is better.

Amusingly enough, the Roxy elevator is one of the very few times they clearly state "only this one is effective". There's a green light only above Roxy's door. Vanessa goes into her door. Freddy says to go into her door too.

Tbf, I do believe the lil note you find that speaks on that clearly states that she can only see her animatronic friends thru walls.... So yes, she'd be able to see freddy open up, but I don't think shes able to see gregory climb into him. I could be wrong tho 🤷🏽♀🤷🏽♀🤷🏽♀🤷🏽♀🤷🏽♀
Or when she lost track of Mark/Gregory when he hopped into a baby carriage right in front of her?
Edit: It's not even a matter of the tech/mechanics behind how her eyes work. The AI in these machines is far beyond what we saw in the earlier games and these animatronics are able to deduce situations. If one of these guys is chasing you and you "disappear" behind/in an object, their computer brains should come to the conclusion that you are inside the empty object.
Edit: Also, go back a few episodes and Mark/Gregory desperately hopped into a locker when Chica was in the same room and she immediately found him.
