Saw a Reddit post saying how brutal this is for Chica. As we know Chica was given the voice to make her sing better, Roxanne was given better eyes to make her race better, monty was given claws to play the bass better.
But these additions gave them insecurities
Chica hated the harm her voice did and gained an eating disorder
Roxanne gained self conscience and was very insecure
Monty gained anger issues and damaged everything he loved
They all get decommissioned in the places they find relaxing, where they can be themselves
But they also lose there ability to vent their flaws
Chica loses her beak and neck mechanics making it impossible for her to eat pizza and relax in the pizzeria
Roxanne loses her eyesight making it impossible for her to self motivate herself and race on her track
Monty loses his Claws and Legs making it impossible for him to release his anger and impossible for him to get on top of his favourite place in Monty’s Golf

That’s a good theory but I’m pretty sure chicas eating disorder is the cause of her personality chip. But instead it could be that since she hated that her voice did harm she’s always saying nice things when chasing Gregory unlike the other animatronics like “Your family misses you” and calls his name out in a sweet voice. But now she can’t talk at all
The real horror of the game is that Gregory didn’t slip a single time on that bowling alley floor. He must be a god

It kind of makes sense though. He's been programmed as an entertainment service robot with kids in mind as the target audience. People in the entertainment industry have a lot of pressure put on them to live up to the consumers' expectations, and that goes double when kids are the consumers. The result, of course, is that even the most minor inconveniences are addressed as being major things because they could get in the way of the consumers' enjoyment of the service rendered. Thus, Freddy has been programmed to respond in the way an actual service industry employee might have to respond to a child.

I love how in this game you go through all this work to try and get out, basically destroying the place in the process, when all Gregory really had to do was chill in Freddy’s room till the doors opened in the morning. 😅 Obviously the game wouldn’t be fun if you did that so I know everything else needs to be done but still. Would’ve been interesting tho if there would have been a secret ending where you could just literally wait in Freddy’s room till morning. The thing that gets me about Chica's death here is that at this point there still hasn't been a full confirmation that the animatronics are intending to do him harm. We just know they chase him and if they catch him it just goes to a game over screen, but we don't actually know yet for certain that being caught means being killed or harmed.

@@TehBrian That's what you call Mark not being able to read a map to save his god damn life, and, or, completely forgetting/ignoring clear instructions, like forgetting that he had to go to Bonnie Bowl to get the Monty Mix before going to the Kitchen compactor, or forgetting that Chica's voicebox opens locked gates. Half the time he complains, it's oversights in the game, sometimes the game gives you clear instructions on where to go, where as other times it's more vague, but the other half is very obviously him being a bit of a dunce, or not paying attention.

I love markiplier in this episode. he looks like slightly crazy but kind uncle, slightly savage one of the family. I think that's what he is positioned in fnaf universe while matpat is other uncle who looks like quiet and shy, scholar type but in fact inside is insanely maniac and mad compare to anyone in the room.

If Greg's sole goal is to survive the night(which afaik at that point, it is), then he should have just waited it out. If the story doesn't present a reason why he wouldn't, then it's a plot hole.

This play through ligit had me believing that the game dropped little audio jump scares every time the wet floor signs looked at you and it honestly took a few interactions with them in my own play through before I realized that Mark’s editor was doing it in post.

Yeah, I've spent over 20 hrs in this game, and honestly this is one of my biggest complaints. I had gotten stuck at multiple parts and had to look up guides just to learn "Oh yeah, you don't actually have to get chica IN the compactor, just press a button and a cutscene will happen."

I only watched playthroughs where they went to Montys gator golf so seeing what wouldve happened had they chose a different path is interesting, the path Mark took definitely has looked cooler so far. Actually, not just gator golf, but every path he has took so far.
The game gets legitimately creepy at times, like Chica, before decomissioning, she's annoying as heck, but without her voice box, she's creepy AF.
And the creepy trash compactor environment made it all the more terrifying

I just realized that you kind of take away the things that mean the most to them. Chica loses her beak so she can't eat anymore. Roxy loses her eyes, so she can't reassure or admire herself anymore. Monty loses his claws so he can't take out his anger or destroy things anymore. I'm not saying those are all good things for them to do, but it's really sad still. They're all really sad.

Or it's the other way around, and the upgraded part is what causes them to fixate on those things. Or the bots were programed/encouraged to develop those quirks to dissuade them from using the upgrades in other ways (ie Chica eats to keep her from singing because it messes up the bots, Roxy is obsessed with looking at herself to keep her from watching people through walls, Monty idk destroys stuff loudly so he can't destroy people/bots stealthily?)
