      Impressive! You do a great job producing your health channel. I found it interesting that air force pilots are taught a technique that hypnotherapy has used for many decades, going back to Carl Gustav Jung's era of depth psychology. Keep up the good work! Love your (Irish?) accent.
      Sometime you might do a video on weight gain and its resistance to reversal due to high cortisol levels using the longitudinal nurses study as a major reference.

    These are all great tips! When I go to bed I already fall asleep in under 2 minutes and sleep 4 hours but Can you make a video for waking up in the middle of the night in high level pain?

    Hi nurse Jeffries,i really want to thank you.I was reaching the point of desperation with my struggles with sleep.Now I'm finally able to fall off to sleep,with the help of your techniques.The only problem I'm having now is holding on to that sleep, especially during the daytime,I loose my sleep so quickly.Any advice?

    It’s over 100• F here in the day and close to 80 at night. It would cost a fortune to cool my bedroom down to 65. I sweat all night long. My bedroom is probably 80 at its coolest all night. 2 fans!

    If you can’t fall asleep it is still better to stay in bed. Getting up just reinforces a bad habit and just lying in bed is beneficial to the body even if you don’t sleep. Another important point is that early sleep is more restful and rejuvenating than later sleep even if you manage to get the same amount of actual sleep, so get into bed early in the evening rather than staying up late. How is that NHS working for everyone over in Britishstan?

    Thanks for your nice suggestions. I use to take slipping pills, but sometimes at night when i try many such things without taking a pill or wanna give up pills, it continuously strikes me and at the end, just for mental satisfaction, i take it to bring my tension down. Could be a great help if you can tell me a way forward how to think positively about sleeping without taking a pill.

    Not everyone feel comfortable with 65 degree F or 18 degree C. That is way too cold for me or most people living in South East Asia.

      It maybe better to say : depends on individual environment ( if you feel too hot , make it cooler when one ready to sleep; if you feel too cold make it warmer when you get ready to sleep).

      why would they, as they are designed to help you sleep? You might be getting sleeping tablets mixed up with weight loss injections..

    I went o the gym today at 2PM and took pre workout. Now it’s 2AM at night and I can’t sleep. People say don’t take it too close before bed time but that’s almost 12 hours gap between in. I don’t know what should I do I can’t sleep

      What is the quantity of caffeine or guaranine? With most pre-workouts I'd be awake with heart palpitations all night unless taken before a 10:00 am workout, or earlier.

    I'm a student and also I'm working ! My sleep hours is b/n 11:00pm-4:00 am ..but i can also take a nap if i want ( but i dont know if its good ) ..but nowadays im feeling sleepy during z morning hours ...i would love to hear if u got any advice for me but I do have about 2 hours free during mid day, should I use z's hours to compensate my sleep ...tnks ...i just got introduced to u tdy

      Are you able to sleep earlier - that 4am wake up must be tough! If not then catching up with a nap if you need to - make sure it’s not too late in the day

This is an amino acid with a number of great properties. It helps you relax and reduces anxiety, which will be a huge benefit if you struggle to sleep each night.

      If their's no problem now, then there's nothing to fix. Long term health ramifications of this modest habit is for another discussion.

      Practically anyone who has spent time, for instance in a hospital, will tell you that their nurse or nurses knew more about their medical condition and what to do (or not do) than the MD busy running around from room to room on his/her rounds.

    I get to sleep very easy and quickly but wake up about 3 -4 hour’s later and I’ve not a hope in hell of getting back to sleep until about an hour before I have to get up.❤
