It’s over 100• F here in the day and close to 80 at night. It would cost a fortune to cool my bedroom down to 65. I sweat all night long. My bedroom is probably 80 at its coolest all night. 2 fans!
Yeah that’s tough at least you’re trying. What about trying ice packs for your bed?
I don't think everyone feels comfortable with 65 degrees F. It's way too cold for me.
If you can’t fall asleep it is still better to stay in bed. Getting up just reinforces a bad habit and just lying in bed is beneficial to the body even if you don’t sleep. Another important point is that early sleep is more restful and rejuvenating than later sleep even if you manage to get the same amount of actual sleep, so get into bed early in the evening rather than staying up late. How is that NHS working for everyone over in Britishstan?

Thanks for your nice suggestions. I use to take slipping pills, but sometimes at night when i try many such things without taking a pill or wanna give up pills, it continuously strikes me and at the end, just for mental satisfaction, i take it to bring my tension down. Could be a great help if you can tell me a way forward how to think positively about sleeping without taking a pill.
Drink pint of vodka right before bed, will no longer need pills.
Not everyone feel comfortable with 65 degree F or 18 degree C. That is way too cold for me or most people living in South East Asia.
Even if it’s just a little cooler? - the body sleep better when the body and room is cooler

It maybe better to say : depends on individual environment ( if you feel too hot , make it cooler when one ready to sleep; if you feel too cold make it warmer when you get ready to sleep).
18c is wayyy too hot to sleep in. I live in England and the ideal sleeping temp is 10c.
No chance to reach 18 degree except in winter.

I'm guilty of the food , cafine and alcohol before bed. I did cut out the beer for a wile m I guess I have some more cutting to do. Thanks for the great info.

My sleep coach advised to get up at the same time every day but only to go to bed when tired, this is not necessarily the same time every day.

If my last drink is at 8:30 and go to bed at midnight does this interfere with my sleep? Also does taking sleep pills make you lose weight?
why would they, as they are designed to help you sleep? You might be getting sleeping tablets mixed up with weight loss injections..
I went o the gym today at 2PM and took pre workout. Now it’s 2AM at night and I can’t sleep. People say don’t take it too close before bed time but that’s almost 12 hours gap between in. I don’t know what should I do I can’t sleep
Stop using stimulants
What exactly is in the pre workout?
What is the quantity of caffeine or guaranine? With most pre-workouts I'd be awake with heart palpitations all night unless taken before a 10:00 am workout, or earlier.

My sleep hours is b/n 11:00pm-4:00 am ..but i can also take a nap if i want ( but i dont know if its good ) ..but nowadays im feeling sleepy during z morning hours ...i would love to hear if u got any advice for me but I do have about 2 hours free during mid day, should I use z's hours to compensate my sleep ...tnks ...i just got introduced to u tdy

Are you able to sleep earlier - that 4am wake up must be tough! If not then catching up with a nap if you need to - make sure it’s not too late in the day

Sunlight does help, exercise, less light in room.
Medication for seizures breathing helps but takes soooo long. If I am doing good rosary helps
I drink green tee with a few pieces of chocolate before bed and sleep like a baby. 😊 Relaxation videos on Acidalia Planitia Channel also is a huge help.

Practically anyone who has spent time, for instance in a hospital, will tell you that their nurse or nurses knew more about their medical condition and what to do (or not do) than the MD busy running around from room to room on his/her rounds.
Judge by content, by accuracy, by clarity of articulating the subject, not by letters behind a name. Medical school today is basically about drugs and treating iatrogenic disease, not about health and prevention of illness.
