Hi friends! Join me for a relaxing whispered DIY adventure as I create the ULTIMATE Pokémon keyboard! I was inspired to try this by the beautiful artisan keycaps I received from Mozano recently (check out the video here! • Best. Keycaps. EVER! P... ), and a few other ideas I've seen on CZcams. It was definitely an experiment, but I'm SO happy with the result! Let me know what you think down in the comments :D
ASMR triggers include ear-to-ear whispering, incidental mouth sounds, tapping, crinkling, sticky sounds, and of course, typing! I recommend listening with headphones for the best experience.

My videos are designed to trigger a relaxing feeling called ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response). This one looks so cool! I really have been wanting to put a keyboard together also, this is motivating and fun and the modeling clay is so smart! And the keycaps omg 😍
Thank you!! Building a custom keyboard can be a lot of fun, and really rewarding, especially if you get creative! This is my first time trying the modelling clay thing, and aside from being a bit messy, it worked much better than I expected. Both the artisan keycaps and the Vilebloom set worked out so well with the stickerbomb look, I'm really happy with it :D

I'm glad you like it! The Vilebloom keycaps are expensive and hard to get, but you might be able to find a decent clone set for less. The resin caps are also a bit pricey, but honestly, given their quality, getting one as a fun accent is well worth it IMO. The rest of the build is quite inexpensive!

What a weird keyboard to have no USB option and run off AAA batteries 😆 As someone who just got into the custom mechanical keyboard world recently but has been watching ASMR for nearly a decade (and also a Nintendo nerd), this is exactly what kind of video I was in need of! Amazing work 👍

Found them on Amazon, they were $11.99 CAD! Quality is isn't amazing, but it's totally fine for the price.

the resin caps have similar colors to the gradient so what if you spread them out on that top row? like the blue one could go on 8 or 9 and the reddish one can go on 6

I would honestly remove the foam maybe and tape mod it because i love the pop you get with the foam. I have 3layers on my q3 and polyfoam and it sounds great
Yeah I love how it looks, but I think the sound could use some tweaking. I might still try the tape mod!
For some reason, I find myself actually preferring the un-modded sound, but hot damn does it look dope! I guess I'm just a clacky, rattly, noise-loving nerd😏. Anyway, really cool idea! I'd love to do something like this too at some point...

Since you make so many of these for the channel, you should put em on ebay or something.
I think if you replace those bad stabilisers it will be Schmick, the space bar is so loud and clacky
Yes I think some better stabs would improve it, and maybe a bit more padding under the spacebar stabs to control the clack. I also considered packing a little bit of modelling clay into the spacebar itself, to make it bit less hollow. Does that sound crazy? I might try it haha

You do have to be careful with amazon packs like that, a bunch of those stickers are obviously stolen fanart, not just official art, and that's not cool
That's a really good point that I didn't consider when ordering them, thank you for bringing it to my attention! I wonder where the best place to get "ethical" Pokémon stickers would be? Maybe some Etsy sellers that sell their original designs?
