I thought about backing Sub Terra, as it looked like a fun and interesting idea on Kickstarter. After this review I am glad I didn't. I wouldn't have been able to afford all the extras and the game just looks ok, especially without all the added bits. Thanks for the review
Played this on Tabletopia more than any other game there. It's the one game that actually works for my group of very diverse tastes. Fortunately I never had deal with the production issues; just enjoy the game.
One of the 600 US backers waiting for there game. Between production issues and lies from the company. I will never back or buy another of there games. I would suggest if your planing on backing one of there games to do some research beforehand.
It is a good review, except for the unnecessary outburst of "Holy Hell" at 1:10. I suppose the reviewer doesn't consider this to be a swear word, but I wouldn't be happy if a Disney channel show had this, and this is supposed to be a family friendly channel, so I agree. I assume this just slipped through the cracks. Tom is always great about keeping the channel clean. But, I hope that Chris does a better job in the future of keeping the channel family friendly.
Context is important. It is banned on children's television channels and and you can be suspended from elementary schools in the United States if the child uses that word outside of a literal context. I wouldn't want to have my kids hear this.
This is a sincere inquiry, would a bleep work? It implies a curse without hearing it. I am curious as that would help videos going forward as to avoid further issues.
I would be happy with a bleep. It means my kids won't hear bad language when I am watching these videos around the house. But, honestly I would prefer that there be no sense of even implied cursing. As someone said earlier, the Disney channel wouldn't allow this language, but they also wouldn't allow an implied use of bad language.
Superb and entertaining review - more from Chris!
what is the name of ambient music track you played in video?
It's the ambient music made by and for Sub Terra,
Dias Ex Machina how we can find it?
I'd check the company's Facebook page

Not real happy about the use of bad language.

They say the word in church and IMO it’s not a swear word. There is a city in Michigan called Hell. Lighten up.
