If you look at the interviews of James when Jeremy got fired they quit because they didn't want to work without him. They have a bond and it's very visible. Yes there was a lot of scripted BS in the first season of GT but the new one feels relaxed and real. They listened to their audience and made changes to the show. They even did an unscripted episode just because of people like you.
What would have been staged was when the three of them all stole each other’s parts after this, May stole Hammond’s bonnet scoop to replace the bit that Clarkson cut out to repair the hole that May had made to make his front bumper guard. Hammond stole Jeremy’s car lavatory to replace his bonnet scoop and Jeremy stole Hammond’s back window.
That's only right, isn't it?! Jeremy technically put it there due to his 'shtupidest idea in history'. Props to little Richard though, for noticing the shards on the ground in the first place. He's so tiny, his eyes are closer to the ground! 😂
