Actually the crack it makes could help alert people to your location if your are lost and it could help scare of bares or wolves.
Best bring one with you rather than freezing you butt off making one , when you got there 👍
Finaly.... easy tutorial, thanks Bro
Haha I actually bring my own personal whips with me whenever I go out to hike in the woods. Also I love the way it sounds in the woods. It's very loud when you're in a wooded area. I try to spend as much time as possible in the woods when I go out to crack
Spencer Merrell - I do the same thing. When people ask me what I like to do, I just grab a whip from the car.
Bro this was actually a very good video I liked it very informative
U should make a video just showing all ur whips
Or just show ur skills
Love the video keep it up
I see what you mean, a bullwhip that you throw together in an hour wont scare much off, nor will it have much benefit in the long run, but I feel like making one anyway as it would take up some boring time.
Dude I've watched a few of your videos and I must say you are badass at making a whip crack and I like the videos I used to use one in high school an 8 footer was my favorite. I hope you keep the videos coming
Finally a whip video that it actually looks easy iv’ed looked threw all of CZcams yas!! (VERY INFORMATIVE)
Thanks man. Glad I could help.
Real glad he acknowledged how nonsensical the concept of an emergency survival bullwhip is. Hilarious concept either way.
I just made a whip like you told in the video and it looks awesome thanks man
You are very welcome.
Very nice your vids are always the best
Well done.
Hey man, great video!
Advice on the paracord though, if you find the center end of the paracord, and pull on that one, the paracord will unravel with beautiful ease. The end that you can see from the outside you should never yank on. But there is an end inside the coil and that one will make life with paracord easier.
Hope that helps! :)
Sean Doyle the white strands?
Finally, a video that works youe=r the best whip maker pls make more videos
Súper cool
I really want to make this but parachord is very very expensive here in the Philippines 🇵🇭....are there any replacements i can use???
Not really, you can use strips of cloth or duct tape.
buy it online in la ada or shopee merong 100ft na paracord don
That sucks it’s so expensive in the Philippines
nice
I love how you say to pull out about a foot of it, and it's like 20 inches... 😂 You need a little more time spent with a tape measure to acclimate to standard measurements. That was like a yettie foot..
i got question do u have to use hockey tape?
I have a question, how do you know how long to cut the strands of paracord depending on the length of the whip.
I don't know. I would just wing it, it doesn't matter really.
does anyone know if i can subsutute thenhockey tape with electrical tape
I wanted to go and make these with a group of scouts, can you tell me how many paracord and how many tape you used for one whip?
I used a 100ft hank of 550 paracord and one roll of 2'' by 15yd hockey tape for one whip.
Will normal rope(nilon)work??
What do you use a thousand
hey man love your vids can i ask if electrical tape can be a substitute for hockey tape?
chester Baconga - Yes
@@caliberwhips9595 thanks man
You can just tie a not at the end and then put the hay twine on
So the idea behind this construction is so you can take the whip apart to recover the paracord to do survival stuff with?
Would it not have been better to do the paracord winding from 1 long part instead of melting shorter parts together?
You can, that wasn't the original thought, but that's a good idea. I melted short pieces together with the idea that you would keep it; but you can make one with the intention that you will store and use the cord later.
The main idea behind paracord bracelets, belts etc. is to have a convenient way to carry a long piece of cord on you person. So if you like whips, and think it's handy to bring one on a hiking trip, this might be a handy design. Just keep it on a belt loop... packs can get lost.
Yeah, good idea. I didn't think of that.
Faze👍
When making a bullwhip what happens when you dont put metal bbs to the core ?
Jerome Mallari the BBs are mainly for more weight which makes the whip easier to crack. Without them the whip is lighter, will take more energy to crack, and may even be much more difficult to crack.
Could you apply this method to make a snake whip?
Dom44519 - Yes
Wait, curl up in a ball and pray? You wouldn't at least try to scare it away? I mean, I'm not saying it would necessarily work but if you have the whip anyway, you might as well try.
Paul TheSkeptic - No. Trying to scare a grizzly would just piss it off. I’ve read that you can scare and even fight of a black bear; but grizzlies are literally a completely different animal. I’ve heard that Lewis and Clark were used to black bears, and that one rifle shot would kill it. They were shocked at grizzlies, which took like five shots to take one down. One of them was even treed by a grizzly. At least that’s what I’ve heard. I’ve been fortunate enough not to come across any bear.
OwO, amazing
make more videos of this
Wow. There's snow on the ground, 20* F and you're wearing a T-shirt.
Audion Fire - In Arizona, a T-shirt is winter clothes.
Caliber Whips I'm from Vegas, so I know how you feel.
Mother didn't raise no bitch
Lmao...I was thinking the same thing...here in Tennessee if there is snow on the ground and it’s 20 degrees,I’m gonna be in my Carhartts..needless to say,my heart goes out to the poor souls who live up north
lo
U whipping CC counted it as *applause*
I did the math and you only need 50ft of paracord
I also disagree with the measurement of 1ft in the beginning... Seems like an over estimate.
Of course you would not want to make one in a survival situation. That is why you creat a concealed carry system for your whip and have one on you at all times.
I'm soon working on a "tactical whip" for a military customer.
Caliber Whips sweet I am working on a conceal cary harness. Kind of like what detectives use in crime shows.
Why a concealed carry? and not open on a belt loop?
Hey, Caliber! Do you have a Discord account? If you do, I'd love for you to join the Eagle Whips server. I'm trying to get as many whipmakers and whip enthusiasts on as I can to join to make a more connected community! :D
I don't have a Discord account, but I'll look into it. Thanks.
