It's strange... I've always known about whips and seen people use them all the time (not to mention in several movies & TV shows) but this is the first time I've seen dueling whips. It's one of the coolest things I think I've ever seen.

And yet, no blood. If you believe the movies, every lash should've left them with ripped flesh. Yet, these two (with only face protection) didn't wince nor limp away nursing wounds. Maybe whips are only vicious "weapons" when your target is bound to a pole, shirtless and defenseless.
@@cra2cra226 I've definitely gotten cut up pretty badly when I was starting to learn how to use my bull whip I think you need to basically hit with full power directly with the fall or cracker of the whip if you just hit them with the thong it wouldn't be close to Pleasant but it also would not draw blood but rest assured if you place the attack right you can take off fingers with those things but maybe it's also because they are shorter whips thus have less time to generate more power and momentum

@@jaredflynn3750I’ve lightly scared myself once or twice while training, they’ve faded and healed well but you can do a lot with a whip it just depends on how far down and as you mentioned the amount of force then given down to that section which can cause bad cuts.

It's gotta be "B" or "C" if it's a straight bullwhip fight. Between those two, the one that comes out on top would be determined by the stakes at hand.
"A" runs away crying for his bourbon and a maid to kiss his boo-boo better after the first hit he takes.
"D" is a performer, not a fighter. He gets a couple of good cracks in before the others can close the distance but bows out after he starts taking some serious hits.
"B" is a true warrior and "C" will just get off on it the more they are hit. "B" wins if "C" is a vampire or the stakes of the fight are life or death. "C" wins in most other situations simply because once they've all reduced each other to naked lumps of bloody pulp, she will be the only one that's still smiling.

The crack of the whips is such a nice sound, such a cool weapon, very good video, how would you recommend beginning to learn to use a whip? maybe I should start with a shoelace for safety?
The main thing is to protect your eyes. If you want to use the whip for recreational purposes, wear protective glasses at the beginning. The whip does not forgive mistakes, learning is painful at first, but then when there is technique and timing, it is really good :)
Just buy a decent whip and get cracking. Use a wide brim hat and some safety glasses at first.

The actual audio pop sound is the end of the whip when it hits peak speed which is faster then the eye can see, the only way I could see having a ref be used is to have them count the cuts or welts after a 3min round!
As for me, I try to move quickly and run away. This is the only guarantee to reduce the number of hits received. Sometimes my opponent gets 3-6 hits from me, but I also get that much or less. When two opponents move slowly, in such fights I saw that each of them received 10 or more hits - but such fights certainly lasted less than 3 minutes, they are too painful.
Full black t is obviously more trained and kept his ground and was advancing nicely
