This song always tears me up...... No Parent should ever have to bury their Children......
indeed so sad.
Worst pain over ever experienced. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I cry everytime I hear this song now
This song still makes me tear up. I'll never know the strength it takes him to be able to sing that without breaking down.
My son died from brain cancer 10 years ago. This song is cathartic for me. Fatherly grief from one Eric to another.
The fact that Eric Clapton made a song about tremendous pain using major chords and melodies shows you just how hard he was fighting to move on.
Move on? You can NEVER get over the death of your son/daughter! The loss of a child cannot be 'moved on' over!
I sang this song at my daughter's funeral
So very sorry about your daughter's death.
@@mikewrasman5103 thank you
How he could get through this song-especially live-without falling to pieces....I don't know. :'(
maybe it was kind of therapy to him. Something healing
I love your reactions. You’re a lovely woman.❤️
Aww thank you so much, appreciate the visit.
Big like 🌹🌷🥀💞💞💞 thanks for sharing this My dear friend 🙏💥💥💥
Big thanks friend.
Beautiful song! Great Eric🎸
Thanks so much!
I cry every time I watch someone else cry watching this.. .lots of love your way
You r a very sweet lady for having such feelings for another human being
Aww thank. Appreciate the visit always.
Loosing a child is the worst thing that can happen to a parent. I lost both of my sons. I will never be who I was before. My life is not the same.
I played this at their services.
It is a sad, beautifully haunting song. My heart goes out to anyone that lost a child.
I'm a father to a beautiful 4 1/2 year old boy. He's my best friend and I live for him above all else. When times are tough or life gets challenging, I only need to think about him to bring on a smile. Even the thought of losing him makes me well up. I cannot imagine the pain of losing one child, let alone two. My thoughts are with you.

Thank you for your kind words. It does touch my heart when someone is so nice. It is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through. I hope your son is healthy and safe always!
@@peggyjyoung6434 I'll hug him just that little bit tighter

Treasure each day!
He is a very strong man. Could you imagine going through that as a recovering alcoholic and drug addict and stay clean and sober not relapsing. Not sure I could've.
Additionally, just 6 months before the unthinkable tragedy that took Conor Clapton's son, Eric Clapton had another incredibly sad issue occur in his life. Stevie Ray Vaughn was touring with Eric Clapton in the summer of 1990. After a concert in Wisconsin Stevie Ray had an issue he needed to deal with back at the band's hotel. The bands flew in helicopters from the hotel to the concert venue and back. Stevie Ray asked Clapton if he wouldn't mind catching the next helicopter back to the hotel. Clapton obliged. Stevie Ray Vaughn climbed aboard the helicopter and 5 minutes later everyone aboard that doomed aircraft was dead after it crashed into a hillside. Eric Clapton would have died that night if not for an amazing twist of fate. I don't know how Eric Clapton was able to stay sane after experiencing two catastrophes like he experienced in the span of 6 months.
Eric's most personal and heartbreaking song ever!
Absolutely. And how he got the strength to perform it is beyond me.
Great reaction my friend you seem to enjoy Clapton big like hope you all have a wonderful week 👍😀
Appreciate the visit.
Love your energy girl ❤️
No! The sadist sing ever by Eric Clapton.
RIVER OF TEARS; from his album PILGRIM.
This is one of the saddest songs. It breaks my heart. Great share hon
Rip conor.
Eric Clapton wrote this song after his 4 1/2 year old son died after he fell through a window on the 54th floor apartment
i love seeing channels grow and wow i remember day one with you guys wow i love the new thumbnails very nice
Thanks so much, appreciate the visit.
This us the saddest story ever. The baby fell 53 floors out of a high rise apt window.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😢😢😢😢💕💕💕💕💕
Oh its 2020 and I still feel that pain Carol.
If I remember correctly he wrote this song not lost lawn after he lost his son who fell out of a window and died
Almost too hard to take ... thank you for your sensitive reaction!
The full story was about Eric and his son getting to see each other again after 3 years. Connor was with his mother on the 53rd floor of a friends apartment and the maintenance man was washing a large window that opened out ward and before anyone could stop Connor from running right out into air he fell onto another building that was 5 stories high. Eric wrote this song and all proceeds went towards pushing for building owners to put a barricade to outside windows. It worked but only windows that were more than 5 stories high and above.
Hello friend Happy Day great nice production friend like 👍👋
Thanks for the visit.
well done
Thanks for the visit.
Thanks for showing this version...the official version is too polished taking away much of the raw emotion. Huge difference! 👍
🖖
One of the most difficult songs ever to listen to, never mind record and perform. I know I couldn't do it.
Another tough one is "All Of My Love" by Led Zeppelin written by Robert Plant in tribute to his 6 year old son Karac who died due to a rare stomach virus in the UK as Led Zeppelin toured in the United States. Led Zep was in New Orleans when they received the hideous news about Karac's death.
Thank you for replying
You welcome.
Answer to the text on the thumbnail. The saddest song ever is "Honey" by "Bobby Goldsboro"
This is very sad because it’s about his 4 year old son Conner who
fell out of a high rise appt in NYC
His son Conor fell out a 53rd story apartment window in Manhattan, NYC August 1991
wow! what so sad.
His son was playing in a new York penthouse suite when his nanny did not notice he was climbing up on the window seel he fell out of the window to his death
OMG! WHAT! SO SAD.
Gilbert O'Sullivan ..The song
.ALONE AGAIN ,NATURALLY..
Would be the saddest ever

Can you please react to Veruca Salt song Called So Weird
Live version please
Will check it out, thank appreciate the visit.
Awesome can't wait so excited Can you please let me know when it's posted
He stopped loving her today by George Jones is the saddest
Nope. Unsure if you're a parent, but ther's nothing more gut wrenching than losing a child. It's the most tragic event imaginable. Losing a life partner, unrequited or lost love doesn't even compare.
Sad
‘I Believe’ by Brooks and Dunn would be the 😞 saddest, ever
I think because his son was just 4 year old, appreciate the visit always, have a blessed day.
"The Living Years" by Mike and the Mechanics is another sad one that contains a very strong message about how short life is and how important it is to let bygones be bygones before it's too late.
